Machaon watched with amusement as they both leapt at the opportunity, rather literally. Although, Levi probably had an advantage because of his lack of speech impediment. That did however leave him alone with the cannibal-in-training. lovely. Atleast Sid was more amusing than anything else.
He did puff up a little bit at being called cool looking, only very odd people ever considered him such... unless they were from corvistowne. "Thanks... And I heal people, you know stitch them up and such. Although my specialty has to do with blood work, and skin grafting, of which I've made some rather impressive breakthroughs if I do say so myself." he motioned to the rather obvious products of his trade that marked his body. He liked to think he was just as much a scientist as doctor, but in truth he hadn't had a great deal of time to study things with the amount of injuries he'd been having to treat. Not that you didn't learn from those, but it was much simpler than he'd wish.
Coming back to the scene at hand, he glanced around the room before walking over to lean on the chair Sid had taken residence on. "So Dracula junior, do you have an aspirations for greatness? Some sort of occupation in mind, or d you plan to go with the flow?" He couldn't help making a comment like that, especially since he wasn't entirely sure what their names were. he had heard Sid, but that sounded a lot like a nickname of some sort.

Levi scampered swiftly through the halls, dashing at something of a breakneck pace, despite the fact that his hooves were poor at finding purchase on marble floors.
Sid tilted his head one way than the other as the doctor continued to talk. "You did that to yourthelf?!" If anything, this simply seemed to excite the boy even more and his short, tuft-y tail flipped about in an cheerful, wagging motion. Machaon was the COOLEST PERSON AT THE COURT. Except for Auntith Irtha. Of course. He did, however, have something to say about the stitching up other people thing. "You did that for my daddy!" Sid was quite pleased to be able to point out this information to the man who likely already knew.
Sid tilted his head, baffled by the reference, but willing to push through to proudly answer the Corvie's question. "I'm going to be in the Court!" It was unclear whether he meant that literally or if he meant that he wanted to become titled in the Court.

Machaon nodded to reaffirm the fact that he had indeed done that to himself, he didn't trust anyone else with such things after all... not that anyone else even knew how to do it, but that was beside the point. At the comment of doing it for Rai he nodded somewhat, before shaking his head. "I am aware of that fact, Rai seems to attract a... interesting assortment of characters. I do not doubt that he will need some more stitching should this keep up." he spoke in a casual manner, as if it was every day conversation.
At the comment about wanting to be in the court, the doctor just gave the kid a very wide and exceptionally amused smirk. Considering how much this little kid appeared to be ensconced in it already, he doubted Sid would have much of a choice in the end. "Sounds like a plan. Although, I personally plan on going home and doing some more research." He didn't add the part where he'd never come near the capital, or the court of hearts ever again. He even managed to resist implying it too heavily.

Levi scampered into his father's office to happily make his announcement. It was met with some surprise, but after a moment, the Queen gave him a return message and ordered a servant to bring refreshments for the pine marten. Levi was quite happy to have gotten this part done and whirled on his hindlegs to go scamper back to the guest suite.
Sid tilted his head to the other side, chewing at nothing for a moment just to feel the long fangs slip up and down along his lips. "You thould thay with uth," the boy informed the doctor firmly. "Daddy needth people to watch out for him, that'th wot Auntith Irtha thayth. He thatyth Daddy ith blind to the dangerth nearetht him." Whether this was wisdom, parroting, or outright imagination may or may not be clear. From Sid's own slightly blank expressions, it might suggest that even he didn't know.

Machaon stared at Sid for a moment... That sounded horribly, horribly foreboding. Especially coming from someone so young and uh, odd? yeah that was probably the right word. Regardless he didn't especially like the sound of it... And it gave him a greater feeling that he should really scamper home and hide under a rock for the next forever or so. He had decided not to obey that course of action though, not for the moment.
"Your father has the whole court to watch out for him, well, most of it atleast." neglecting to mention all the people that probably wanted the queen dead seemed like the logical thing to do infront of said queens son... Even if he got the feeling the rather twisted mind of the youngster would find that 'cool'... Eying those teeth again though, he figured that the boy could make a pretty good body guard once he grows up.
"So Sid... Want to show me some secret doors?" He figured knowing another way out would be a.. good thing... especially if he saw that cannibal coming here again. he was still a bit upset by that whole ordeal... and by a bit, I actually mean a lot. He was slowly beginning to think that it was not actually Rai's idea though.

Sid tilted his head prettily at his new friend. "I wouldn't count on motht of the court to think on their own," he answered cheerily. His tail flicked about happily and he headed for the door anyway. "I think there'th one in the library! We thould go there!"
Levi swung open the door and very nearly ran right his older brother. He reared up quickly, pulling a sort of crow hop to keep from butting the winged Marshdweller with his glass antlers. He sent his brother an exasperated look. "Sid, I could have burned you."
Sid stretched out his neck and gently licked his brother's cheek. His head came up and he tilted his head sharply to one side, eyes narrowing suddenly. He stretched out his neck again and sniffed at his brother's neck.
Levi arched his neck and sidestepped away from the other boy thoughtfully. "Father's sending refreshments," he told the pine marten.

Machaon took a step back when there was that near-collision. Incase Sid decided to try and move backwards to get away from the molten glass. it was a little odd how he seemed completely unconcerned with that... and also at that sign of 'affection' which looked to him more like he was getting ready to drink the others blood... Which would not be terribly surprising. he was, however, glad it did not come to that.
"Refreshments? Ah, alright... I guess we'll just have to make a short excursion then, which of you think you can reach that secret door in the library first? I'll give the winner something special..." He more or less expected an explosion of movement after this statement. Either that, or for one of them to attempt to trip the other one up. They seemed the energetic sort.
He didn't plan on running there though, he'd like to maintain some of his dignity atleast... Even if most of that was shattered in the last hour or so. Which, he was still bitter about, but was smart enough to differentiate who deserved his Malice. Almost all of which landed on that cannibal... And a little bit on Rai

Levi didn't even wait to say 'Me!" as Sid did, already bolting through the door. Sid gave a gasp of shock and dismay that his brother would go without waiting for the real start, though what that sign might have been he would not have been able to say.
The older boy was off in a trice, cloven hooves clicking brightly on the floor as he flapped his wings uneasily to help keep his balance as he shot off after his brother. It probably wouldn't be too horribly difficult to follow them, their hooves were loud on the marble floors and, fortunately for them all, they really weren't that far from at least one of the libraries.
Sid flapped his way past his flaming brother, slamming into the library with a loud call of "I WWWIINNNN!!!" He turned to glance around, but the doctor wasn't yet here. He tilted his head curiously and Levi stuck his head back out into the hallway curiously.
