Levi's ears tilted back thoughtfully and he dipped his nose towards the hardening puddle of glass near his feet. "Uhm, I did that." The words, ironically or not, sounded more like something done wrong, though his tone relayed no such shame. He didn't entirely sound proud, but he definitely wasn't displeased with it. Really, it had taken quite a bit of work to get that much of a puddle of together. In hindsight, he was a little proud of it.
"Joker?" Sid seemed to like to repeat things out loud again. Really, he liked how words sounded. And most other noises. But words were easier because then you could get other people to make them too and then there'd be a conversation, and sometimes a great deal of dialogue. . . Really, words were lovely. He shrugged off her comment, still more impressed with her lack of markings than with her supposed non-existent status. "Oh, that'th eathy!" he answered her excitedly. "I'd thneak into the kitchenth and get cookieth!"

She looked over at the liquid glass pile that was hardening. Making the action of poking at it but not coming near - she did not want to mess her fur up, she replied "What are you going to do with it?"[/color] It seemed like there would be lots of interesting things you could do with it. Maybe his horns were much cooler than she first had thought. Well . . . that depended on what he and his brother hand planned for it.
Khloris gave a small peal of laughter at his comment. This winged horse with fangs looked to be an interesting person and his little lisp made him extremely fun to talk to. He was definitely someone who would be amusing to have hang around. Tilting her head to the side she thought about his answer, "Why would you not just ask though?" Did his parents not give him any?

Levi looked down at the puddle of glass; it didn't look quite as cool as they had first hoped. Or at least, as he had hoped. Goodness knew what Sid was thinking; very few things or people probably had any idea, the least of which would be Sid himself. "Uhm. We were going to make something out of it." He prodded at it with a hoof, but it was already cooling enough that they wouldn't be able to really do much of anything. "I don't think it's going to work."
"Tholen cookieth tathte better," Sid told her with a playful eye roll. "You obviouthly need to try one thince you don't know thith yet." He gave her a very definitive nod. He glanced over at Levi, but the other boy was just poking at the glass puddle. AT least nift ghost butt girl had a nice laugh. He knew this one girl who laughed really loudly and it hurt his ears. That was unpleasant. He frowned slightly as he remembered it.

"Aww," she replied a little mournfully before she could second think the reaction. It was sad that he was not going to make anything cool out of it. "Have you come up with a way to keep it warm? My papa makes things out of glass! He just thinks about it and then poof! you have something." She moved her glass rose tipped tail carefully to have it rest on her paws in front of her.
Khloris gave a frown at his words, mama and papa had always told her not to steal things. But if they tasted better . . . "Do stolen cookies really taste better?" and to lead from that question, where would she steal a cookie from? "Why do they taste better?" She asked a she tilted her head to the side. Maybe he could help her find a stolen cookie. Then she could try for herself and see which ones tasted better.

Levi gave a small shrug, though he was again intrigued with the idea of being able to do something with his glass meltings. He frowned down at the puddle as Acantha explained about her father's ability. "Well, I don't have anything like that," he answered, his tone more thoughtful than surly. "I'd have to find a different way to make it into stuff." Too bad he couldn't think of anything just yet. His head turned towards his father, ears flicking back thoughtfully. Generally his father knew almost everything while their half-brother Ira actually did know everything. They might have to ask one of those two men later.
"Of courth they tathe better," Sid replied, his attention happily pulled from the memory of obnoxious laughs and back to the present with the little Joker. He could sense she was wavering, so he tried to really emphasize his point. "It'th becauth you have to work tho hard to get them. It'th your thenth of accomplithment."

Shifting her front paws she shifted her position bringing her posture back to perfection again. She had to look perfect at all times, otherwise her beauty would go to waste. And that would be a crime.
"You should" she agreed with a nod of her head and a pretty chime.
Khloris tilted her head to the side as she considered that aspect of it. "I guess that makes sense" She agreed. At least it made enough sense to be true, after all her Mama and Papa were always saying that they needed to work toward things and not take the easy way out. More rewarding and correct that way. Deciding that she would have to try it one day she gave a nod of her head.
"Wot are you two up to?" She asked him, for the first time really noticing that Thid had a friend. Or were they brothers?

"Of courthe it maketh thenthe," Sid gave a pleased nod that she had obviously come to his side, because he was horribly brilliant. He gave another self-satisfied nod; he knew because Aunith Irtha had told him he really was terribly brilliant. It came of being related to the older teal cannibal, of course.
"OH!!!" The Joker's question reminded him suddenly and he turned back to his youngest brother, wings flailing slightly and sending a feather flying. It floated gently away towards Levi and Sid grinned mischievously at the other boy.
Levi quickly twisted his hindquarters around, swishing the flames of his tail to burn the loose feather. It went quickly as he swept his tail over it and the two boys laughed at the sight and smell of burnt feather. A grim reminder, though, of what could happen if people weren't careful.
"We're going to make thomething with hith exthtra glath!"

At his sudden cry, Khloris jumped. "Oh?" She asked, wondering what was going on. She watched as Thid turned and flared his wings, jumping back so that she would avoid any chance of being taken out by them.
As the feather flew loose of the collection both the sisters watched it with different levels of fascination. Levi's movement was just a flash before the feather seemed to burst into flames. Khloris gave a happy squeal, pleased by the show.
Acantha, however, wrinkled her nose at the smell. It was such a waste of a beautiful feather. A beautiful feather that now was a pile of horrid smelling ashes on the ground.
"I already that you are going to make something with his extra glass," She stated, "but what is it that you are going to make?" Acantha asked, her tone slightly haughty though her interest in the idea was apparent by the hint of whining.

"Uhm. . . " Sid replied quietly, thought his chest puffed with some pride about Khloris' reaction to their little trick. Still, he should give Acantha a real answer. "I think it wath going to be a puppy. But it didn't work too well." He stared sadly at the misshapen lump on the ground. It was still rather small, wasn't it?
"Maybe it's a miniature," Levi put in a bit uncertainly.
"Or it'th a bander!" Sid grew excited again very quickly. "Make a bander, Levi!!"
Levi rolled his eyes and snorted at his brother. "We still don't have enough glass for that. Look at it."
The two brothers inspected the glass sadly. Levi glanced at the girls. "Any ideas?" At this point they could use the help. Acantha seemed a little stuck-up, but she was still quick-witted, and Khloris seemed very smart too. Surely among the four of them they could figure out a solution.
