Acantha was a little miffed by they questions to her. If they were going to ask if they could use some of her glass, well they had another thing coming. Her glass was much, much to precious for a such a simple and demeaning task.
Not letting them into her privy thoughts she gave a little shrug. "It does seem like too small a pile to make either a puppy or a bander." She offered, ignoring the fact that she had just restated the obvious.
Khloris tilted her head to the side in consideration. "Maybe . . . it is a . . . lake?" She offered up lamely, stating it with a smile in hopes that it would sound like a cooler idea that way. It was obvious to her that both of them had been working hard at getting it to be something - and though it seemed to be a failure - she did not want them getting upset over it.

Levi eyed the object dubiously. Khloris suggestion was nice, but they'd spent a great deal of time making sure that it was dripping on the top of the pile and so it didn't really reflect her suggestion well. "It doesn't look much like a lake," he pointed out quietly. He didn't want to insult her, though she did change his mind set from something living to just anything. "Maybe it's a mountain?"
"A retarded mountain!" Sid put in excitedly. "Like a really big hill or thomething!" He looked down at the glass 'figurine'. "Maybe jutht a thmall hill. . ."
"We should find a lake," Levi said thoughtfully. "They have shells and things."
"What would happen to you?" Sid asked rather suddenly. "Wouldn't your flameth go out?" He didn't like that thought and frowned fiercely in response. Levi was his favourite of their siblings because he'd run around with the winged cannibal.

At Levi's suggestion Khloris tilted her head to the side again. "That may be true, maybe it is a volcano then? I read about them, they spew lava and fire." She gave a sage nod after she had finished. That would make the pile of glass much cooler. Or at least much cooler than a retarded mountain. Just like a boy to think of that.
Acantha became a little worried when the idea of them going to the lake came up. While she did not mind the pretty shells, she did not want to get her fur wet. The idea alone was revolting. Joining sides with the winged-fang she gave a nod of her head a couple of times. "That does sound like a bad idea, after all fire and water do not mix. You would not want anything bad to happen to your lovely mane, would you?"

Levi tilted his head, sending a few more drips falling to sizzle on the ground. His baths had always been less baths and more people rubbing him down to stay clean. "I don't know," he finally answered after much serious thought. "I haven't tried it yet."
"It theemth like you would either put yourthelf out or thizzle away the water," Sid observed thoughtfully. While this seemed like a perfectly horrible idea to Acantha, Sid found himself growing more for the idea of finding a lake.
Given the option, Levi, too, would have wanted to find a lake. Unfortunately, he had another point to make. "I don't think there are any in the Capital," he observed sadly. "Where do you think the nearest one is?"
"Auntith Irtha probably knowth," Sid put in authoritatively. "We thould athk him." He gave a firm nod to verify his claim. After all, Auntith Irtha knew everything.

Acantha had to agree with Sid's observation though she was not aware of the fascinating pathway it was taking the boy. "Neither of those two options sound like much fun." She felt the need to observe aloud.
Khloris rolled her eyes at her sister, being careful to make sure that the other female did not see. Any time that Acantha tended to feel that she was being made fun of she went into a fit before demanding that the offender apologize to her. While as siblings this occurrence was more often than not was just very annoying, Khloris had to admit that the few times it had happened to a stranger it had been worth hanging back to watch.
Shifting her gaze to Sid she then tilted her head to the side. "Who is this Aunt Irtha?" She asked confused by her failing at not fully translating the boy's lisp from the words he meant to say.

Sid turned to stare at Acantha aghast. He just caught Khloris' response and he utterly agreed with her. "That would be the cooletht thing EVER!" He responded with childlike enthusiasm and disbelief that Acantha could think anything else. "Well, not tho much if it put him out completely, but it would thtill be really cool if he could evaporate the waveth with hith tail and thtuff!"
"Uncle Ira isn't really our uncle," Levi stepped in to explain. "He's actually our half-brother, but he's too old to call that. Sid's his favourite." There was a hint of hurt underlying in those words. He was old enough and mature enough to realize why exactly Sid was Uncle Ira's favourite, but he was still child enough that it bothered him.
Sid poofed out his feathers proudly at Levi's announcement, not seeming to realize that it wasn't a compliment.

((Gads I love these kids))
Khloris frowned at the Sid, not sure what to make of all of this. She was becoming fascinated with the male though and was starting to hope that he would become on of her good friends. She could use some more friends consider that her numbers were limited to her siblings for now. She was just too strange for some of the other people.
"Oh" Acantha said in a manner that almost seemed final on the matter. Or at least she was seemingly growing bored with their discussion of a male who was not present. "I do not know why he is the favorite though." She glanced over at the male with wings and fangs. Turning her attention back to Levi she gave him a smile. "I imagine you are much cooler than him." It was a small unspeakable measure to try and get rid of the small hurt.

"He'th not cooler," Sid argued with the glass-ornamented girl. "He'th a lot hotter.". He wasn't actually making a pun, though one could argue that since Sid had the lisp-- and therefore occasionally sprayed people when he spoke-- he was, in fact, making them cooler, thus off-setting Levi's flames.
Still, it wasn't really the point, but all of this talk had fully distracted Sid from his attempts to get Levi into a lake. Levi tilted his head at Acantha's words and gave a small smile that showed he was at least slightly cheered up. Everyone loved Sid; he was basically everyone's favourite. As far as Levi could figure, it was because he was born a King. Nothing else Sid did was as cool as what he could do, afterall. It was an unfair advantage, but Levi couldn't hate his older brother for it, after all. And it rarely occurred to the fanged boy to gloat; in fact, that seemed antithetical to Sid's very nature.
