The red and white form skipped and danced down the street, his three tails each waving in different directions. Weaving through the crowd he was careful, but not always careful enough, to not to bump into anyone. People really should be more careful where they step, he thought after hearing someone yell in protest of a foot having been trodden on and someone else going on about their shin being kicked. Shaking his head in disbelief at the insensitivity of people he continued on his journey. Where should he go today? There were simply too many answers. Doing a spin that involved him touching only one paw to the ground as he went around in a circle he thought over his options. His opportunities for mischief were endless here. He loved it! He could go to the Park, or the Pub, or any of the stores, or even the . . . Oh! As inspiration struck a grin that could only be described as mischievous spread over his face.

She'd been on her way to find her friend Elyse when something very peculiar occurred. The purple fox hesitated and watched curiously, analyzing the event and trying to figure out wot exactly was going on. The best description was a counter-wave of movement through the river of people moving up and down the street. She tilted her head the other direction watching as it, wotever it was, caused eddies of movement that counter-acted the smooth flow of traffic and also caused pools of disturbance. It was almost like watching the ocean. Eventually, through observation, the Ville resident managed to pinpoint the beginning point of the event, watching as it continued through the people and began to take on a definite direction. With a thoughtful expression, the girl changed her direction to follow the strange mis-flow. Eventually the crowds lessened, but every once in awhile she'd find another annoyed person or hear a sudden curse and she'd cautiously continue to follow the sounds. In surprise, she found herself in front of a library.

He was doing everything he could to suppress the evil cackle that was threatening to get out as he entered through the library doors. He was completely oblivious to the fox that had been following him.
Stopping just shy of the door, he glanced around to see where he should start his mischief first. As he scanned the different shelving areas though he soon felt someone collide into the back of him. He jumped away, his three tails waving, and turned to face the creature.
He knew for sure that she could not see him. No one could after all; Papa had told him a long time ago that he was invisible. As he watched her reaction to the impact he found that now would be a good time to escape. Finding the nearest hiding spot he skipped off to the book section to his right, leaving the female behind.

One moment she was walking along just fine, the next she was entangled in a mass of limbs or something, and then she was abandoned on the floor in a collapsed pile of her own body and a large amount of surprise flared through her pale, pink eyes. Wot in the world had that been? She would have guessed a wall or something, but it wasn't -hard- or flat. It hadn't even really been vertical. Wotever it was, her mind thoughtfully began analyzing even though she was stil sprawled on the floor, it had been soft and warm... almost like another person.
After a few more moments of resting where she was at (and nearly being stepped on by two more library patrons), Kare carefully leveraged herself back up onto her feet and began to look around for more clues as to the strange phenomenon that was haunting the town today. Unfortunately, it wasn't leaving anymore immediate clues and the young woman began to trail around the library sniffing and observing cautiously.

He watched from behind bookshelves as the small female started to make her way around the library. From the way she was looking around the library, as if searching for someone or thing rather then a book, he figured that she was trying to figure out where it was that he had gone too.
Intrigued by the happenings he waited a moment before he started to follow her. He made sure to keep a far enough distance and not making any sounds so that she would not know that he was behind her.
She was a cute little thing, he thought as he took in her purple fur and long purple mane. The words Forever and Silent were mixed on her purple fur with blue and pink writing. It did not appear to him that she would be all that much older then he was.
Following her, he darted from bookshelf section to bookshelf section making sure to avoid objects and other patrons.

Kare's ears flattened slightly as she made a full circuit of the library and couldn't find anything unusual at all. Her tail flicked in vague irritation. Okay, this setback just meant that she was going about this the wrong way. Maybe the ghost-- or wotever it was-- was on to her. With this thought in mind, she whirled around suddenly to come face to face with.... someone's fat belly. She made an inarticulate sound of fright in her mind and scrambled backwards and out of the way as the portly pig snorted at her and trotted by. With a sigh of relief that HE was gone, the fox began to skim the library again.
Could the ghost have left again? The purple fox thought about it for a bit. It was, of course, a possibility, but it seemed strange that a ghost would go through all the trouble of coming here only to simply leave again shortly after arriving. Maybe it was a really old ghost? That would probably make it bore easily. Though... maybe not. Didn't ghosts just haunt places or people? She wasn't entirely certain, so she turned and headed towards the card catalog. She had some research to do and maybe her ghost would show up again.

As he followed her around it took a great effort, something he was barely able to pull off, to suppress the laughs that threatened to escape. He did not want to give away his position after all.
He had made a few noises every now and then to antagonize her on, many of which she seemed to follow even if she might have thought they belonged to another patron. She had even been so close to sensing him when she had turned to face the pig, and her expression on seeing the Mr. Porky instead had been priceless.
After she had made a full round of the library, or so, it appeared that she had given up on their odd sort of chase and was making her way over towards the card catalog section. Interested to see what had diverted her attention he followed her over and looked at the cards over her shoulder as she sorted through them.

As the purple fox began to carefully flip through the cards, she had the feeling that her actions were being observed. Her tail twitched in a sort of wagging motion for a few moments before she turned abruptly, trying the same trick that had brought her face-to-stomach with the pig. It didn't bring her face to face with anything, though she thought maybe she'd felt a chill. Had that been her passing through the ghost's essence?! That idea gave her a chill and she shuddered all the way down her body before shaking herself vigorously to try and throw off her goosebumps. No more creepy thoughts! There had to be an explanation!
With that in mind, she turned back to the library card catalog and quickly located the general section she would need. Pushing the drawer back closed, the purple Ville resident headed off towards the shelves thoughtfully.

He watched with a laughter filled grin on his face as she searched through the many cards in the card catalog. When she turned like she had to face the pig, he supposed in attempt to see if she could spot him, he could not help but give a little jig as she turned the wrong way. Man it was good to be invisible.
This adventure to the library was turning out to be more fun than he had first thought it to be. He often loved causing trouble and mischief but this was something different. His three tails waved in merriment.
When she turned around once again he tried to see what it was that she was searching for, however, he was not able to see what it was before she wondered off in search of it. Determined to see what it was that would interest the little fox he followed her.

Mekare trotted along on quiet paws, head held up high as she checked each section curiously. Aha, there it was! With a small nod, the purple fox moved into the rather small section on the supernatural. How depressing! There couldn't have been more than fifty books in all and she knew that was a serious over-estimate on her part. Her mane-lined tail twitched in irritation, but there was little she could do about it. With a small, breathy sigh, she began to scan the titles with her pale pink eyes. She began to carefully pull off a title or two, but, really, only four books in all looked like they would be of any real use at all.
Rather than take them back to a table, Kare settled down in the middle of the aisle and pawed open the first book Ghosts and You. A small line pressed into her forehead as she began to skim the book curiously.
