Gazing around the different books that lined the shelves the fox followed the female on her way to her destination. They seemed to be traveling into a section of the library that was smaller and less pursued.
Gazing around the books, while the female’s eyes searched for hers, he noticed that most of the books seemed to deal with ghosts.
His eyes twinkled with mischief. She had fallen into the same conclusion as everyone else about him? Or had she had another experience involving ghosts and the like? He believed in ghosts, after all, it was hard not to when you went around being invisible.
If he was like this, who was to say they did not exist?
Looking around the books he saw a title that caught his eye, Poltergeists and their pranks, and without much thought he proceeded to pull the book off the shelf. He flipped through the pages, stopping every now and then when something caught his interest.

For several long minutes, Kare was concentrating on wot she was reading and trying to learn more of wot she could about ghosts. This book seemed to be more of a reader's account of personal prejudices rather than a book of facts. That could be a problem because it wasn't telling her wot she really needed to know.
The soft sound of pages turning helped keep the girl relaxed as she fought an uprising of frustration at the inability to find wot she was looking for. Wait.... pages turning? Pink eyes darted up to see a book sitting near her on the floor. She watched in silence as the book just sat there for a long moment then a page turned, seemingly by itself.
The ghost! She didn't really pause to think about her reaction, though, in hindsight, it likely wasn't a good idea. Without a sound, obviously, the little fox sprang at the ghost with the thought of capturing it.

Reading an interesting segment on the different stunts poltergeist like to play his attention was diverted from the female besides him. When the female suddenly decided to throw herself at him he had only the flash of moment out of the corner of his eye to give him warning. He tried to scramble away from her before she landed on him with no success.
He made an ‘umph’ sound when she landed on top of him, causing both of them to fall to the side. He tried to wiggle his way out from under her again but her weight, though small as it may be, hindered the action. He was more then aware that just because people could not see him did not mean that they could not feel him. He still did ‘exist’ after all.
“Get off,” He mumbled under his breath as he gave a few more frail attempts at getting away.

Hahahahaaa! She had caught it! Him! It-him! The voice was definitely masculine, but that brought forth the question: did ghosts even have genders? In any case, it was easier to simply refer to it as him in her mind, because now it definitely seemed to be a him.
She remained latched quite determinedly onto him, even when he tried to wiggle away. When he told her to get off, she shook her head in an emphatic 'no!', which almost caused her to lose her grip. After all the work of tracking him here, she certainly wasn't going to lose him now!
She opened pink eyes to stare at the floor and blinked in mild disorientation. Though she was distinctly on something, since she couldn't see it, it seemed like her feet should be touching the floor. Only... they weren't. Oh, my. She held on just a little bit tighter.
Wait... she was latched onto something warm and furry. Ghosts weren't warm and furry, were they? Her eyes widened in surprise as she tried to work her way through that one.

It was not working. Nothing he did to struggle from beneath her was letting him loose. Why would she not let him go?
Not feeling her headshake ‘no’ but rather getting the point that she was not going to give up, especially when her grip actually tightened on him, he started to slow his actions. Maybe if she thought he had given up on his attempts to get her off of him she would not suspect an attempt later?
Claming down he held his body still. She would still very much be aware that he was there, especially with her grip. Not sure what to do he whispered in a much calmer voice, “Alright, you caught me. Will you get off now?” He was not sure if it would work or not. If she let go he could quickly run off . . . but is she did not? Maybe he could scare her enough to let go?

The little purple fox was seriously considering letting the 'ghost' go, because he seemed so determined that she do so. But.. no! If she did, she'd never be able to find him again! She shook her head 'no' again and tried to think of a good solution. Well, it wouldn't be of much use until she figured out exactly wot she was holding on to so tightly.
After a moment's hesitation, the Ville en Miir girl began to carefully feel at the creature she was still pinning. Hrms. Without seeing wot he was, it was still a bit hard. He wasn't too much bigger than her, but he was still bigger. He was probably a four legged creature; she couldn't actually feel all of them, but his balance suggested as much. He had large, triangularish ears and her own flicked forward curiously. She started trying to feel back the other way and figure out wot type of tail he had.

Feeling her head shake of ‘no’ he gave a frustrated sigh before pouting. Well this was definitely not turning out like he was wanting. He only pondered in passing as to why the fox did not actually but instead shook her head.
Not sure what else to do he decided that it would not hurt if he continued to hold still. Well that was a sound idea until she started to run her paws over him to figure out what he was. When her paws reached her side he gave yip in startlement. If she moved her hands a little further down, towards his tail, she would hit a ticklish spot causing him to wiggle in attempt to get away from her paws.
Between giggles he gasped out, “No! . . . Do . . . not . . . do” before he gave into a chorus of giggles, clutching at his side.

The first giggle simply surprised her, but impish glee took over briefly and Mekare just had to push her luck. She kept poking around until she found his ticklish spot. With a grin, she mercilessly tormented him, causing young laughter to echo loudly through the normally quiet building.
She came forth like the wind before a storm; a stern heron with silvered hair swept up and out of her. She peered fiercely down through horn-rimmed glasses and Kare froze when she saw this figure of authority. The avian was all set to quietly scream at her, but her face froze in abrupt disbelief.
Kare peered up through her mane of purple hair, trying to figure out exactly wot was wrong with the woman. In a flash of inspiration, it came. The little purple fox was still precariously balanced atop the ghost. She appeared to be floating in thin air, and the air beneath her was still giggling slightly.
The woman's eyes jumped to Kare's chest again, then back down to the empty air beneath the purple fox.

When she began to attack him without mercy he gave into more peels of laughter. He did not become aware of the decrease in attack until a little while after the fox had stopped her attack on him. Still breathless he gave into a giggle every now and then.
Though he was a little peeved that the female had bee so cruel to him he still had to admit he had not laughed so hard in a long while. It was always a good thing to laugh and the glow that it left afterwards was always pleasant.
Finally becoming aware of what was happening he glanced up at the heron that now stood starring down at them with a scowl, seeing her upside down as he was now lying on his back having rolled around from the attack. For all that the heron seemed to be angry at their disturbance of the quite she also seemed like she could easily be scarred. He was silent for a moment before a grin spread across his muzzle “Boo” he suddenly said, deepening his voice and making it ‘ghost’-like in noise.
At the heron’s response to his sudden shout he gave into another bout of laughter.
