"It's not alcoholic," Harold provided. There wasn't a drop of alcohol in the entire place. He went back to being quiet and pulled a small book from his coat pocket, making sure that his rank and suit were properly covered. He didn't want any questions from either of them.
"Can't have it anymore...." Rosemary repeated. Her eyes widened with surprise. "Wait you mean....?" She was pregnant. Holy... oh dear. She had taken out a pregnant woman when there was a chance of a fight to the death. Wow, that was kind of a crappy deal right there. "Oh well... congrats? Or is that the wrong thing to say?" Rosemary wasn't quite sure to do in this situation. Her friends had never been pregnant.
She wanted to ask questions but she wasn't about to make Rhi uncomfortable. "I've been wondering... are you still trying to reach your goal.... for that Queen?"
Harold had, by this time, slipped away and taken his mug of cider with him. He planned on reading in the corner until the pair of them were done. He didn't want to be a part of their conversation.

Rhiannon sighed deeply. Well, that was good news at least. She really needed something warm to drink. It would help calm her nerves and her belly, which had begun to churn unpleasantly once again. She felt utterly pathetic. She and Rose had been having such a good time, and of course, her "issues" had to rear their ugly head again. When the woman returned and set the mug down in front of her, the hybrid leaned forward and lapped at it slowly, not seeming to notice how hot it was.
Baleful yellow eyes were raised, and Rhiannon gave Rosemary an utterly miserable nod. She had hit the nail on the head with that one, and for that she was entirely greatful. For some reason, she didn't want to actually say the words - that would just make it all far too real for her. "Congratulations is fine,[/b]" she said softly, shaking her head and going back to the cider. It was really quite delicious. "I'm going to be going to talk to the father soon. He doesn't know yet, and I'm scared to death.[/b]"
She was greatful for the change in coversation. This was a much safer subject, after all, she couldn't really say anything else about the father without giving away far too much. "I am. I'm a little freaked out about it, actually, the next time I come up here... I'm going to see if she'll accept me as one of her Kings.[/b]" she laughed, the sound short and bark-like. "What about you? Any changes in plans I should know about?[/b]"

It was a long way away for her plans to come into action. She also needed her sister to complete them really. Gah, she missed spending time with the whole family. Taking a lap of cider she smiled weakly. "I still have impossible goals to reach. And I've added to the list. I plan on learning a few languages."
And she still had such a long way to go. "Plus I haven't been to the Glacier or Bogs yet. Just about everywhere else in part. Well, except the two tourist trap regions." And it would be a while before she actually bothered to stop there. Culture was great and all, but she got bored easily.
"Kingship and kids. You have hard road ahead of you. I hope the next time I see you, you're a King." She took a long swig of cider. "All right!" she gasped when she was done. "This is no time to be emotional like a Torque! Let's kick some ass and take names in life!"

Well that was a lofty sort of goal, wasn't it? Rhiannon herself could speak common, the language of the Heart's court, and a smattering of Raemblen... But she only considered herself really good at Common. "I am relatively confident that for you, nothing is impossible.[/b]" she laughed, returning to her own beverage.
"Looks like you've got my heritage standing in your way,[/b]" Rhiannon couldn't help but chuckle at the thought. Perhaps one day she could introduce Rosemary to her parents, she just couldn't imagine that they wouldn't be interested in the wolf, Club or not. Seth would probably at least be glad that she wasn't introducing him to more young Hearts. The thought twisted her muzzle into an amused grin.
A toast to life. The way that the wolf put it, it didn't sound all that bad, and she felt her smile become just a little more real. She would be alright, even if Lior didn't want the children. She was strong. She had a friend, and a secure and caring family. "Fuck yeah! I'll drink to that.[/b]"
And with that, she downed the rest of her beverage.
