Eli sat in her small room, settled onto a rug on the floor in front of a mirror with her eyes half-closed. She loved the feeling of being brushed, the boar bristles sliding smoothly across her mane and fur, leaving everything soft and silky and lovely in its wake. She wasn't able to get her hair done properly and it had gotten a little too messy last night, what with Leon playing with it like that. She'd gone to beg Bianca to help her fix it back into its neat, tidy, shiny braid. Now that she finally had a mane, she couldn't stand to have it in a state of disarray. She was so glad she'd been able to stay friends with the Villa girl after becoming a Doe. She'd been half-afraid that she wouldn't be allowed any friends besides other Does and her Jack, what with how Chel used to avoid her as a Leveret, but no one seemed to care and she eventually came to the conclusion that the other girl just didn't care one way or the other about Leverets. That was fine with her - she wasn't a Leveret anymore. A smile tugging at her muzzle, she closed her eyes completely and started singing the first few words to a song that Bianca had taught her, something pretty from the Villa. She couldn't do it justice, not like her friend could, but she enjoyed singing with her nonetheless.

Bianca smiled lightly as she brushed her friend's hair. She had been so afraid that Eli would forget all about her when she became a Doe, but that fear turned out to be for nothing. Granted, they could not be as buddy-buddy as they once were, what with the status gap now between them, but they always had moments like these. Quiet. Alone. She admired her friend's beauty that had become even more so since she became a Doe. She felt a warm, bubbling feeling that she assumed was pride and happiness for her friend for finally getting what she wanted. A place in the spotlight with Leon. Her smile became wider as a small flutter bubbled in her stomach as Eli began to sing. She was singing a song that she had taught her... After a few notes, Bianca's own voice danced and mingled with Eli's, the harmony filling the room with its quiet intensity. Just like old times... She hasn't forgotten! Bianca felt light-headed with happiness.

Ah good, her friend was in a singing mood today? Smiling around the music, Eli kept her eyes closed and continued the song as she'd been taught, taking the lower half of the harmony as she preferred. Her voice tended to husk a little bit more when she sang and if she went too high it was just unpleasant. She could manage it so long as she kept it within her comfortable range.
Before becoming friends with Bianca, she hadn't really known what that range was. She'd sung before, but not like the Villa sang, from somewhere deep within her. It was the region that promoted such passionate musical talent, she'd been told. It was still a remarkable thing to participate in for her and in a setting like this, casual and alone and at ease, she didn't have to worry about impressing anyone or messing up terribly or not sounding as good. She could just enjoy herself.
When the song wound to a close after a few minutes, she let the last note trail off, unable to hold it for the necessary duration and opened her eyes to look at the purple Leveret, smiling. "We haven't done that in a while," she said softly, half-laughing at herself for the hushed tone of her voice. After a song like that, she always felt it necessary to speak in quiet tones, as if anything louder than that would disturb the atmosphere of the room.

Bianca had always received a wonderful high, almost from singing. It always made her happy, especially when it made Eli happy, too. She ended the last note in a perfectly controlled fade in volume, but the vibrato just as strong despite the decrease. She smiled touching Eli's shoulder fondly. It was a small, light touch, friendly and familiar.
"I know!" she returned in a hushed voice her nose twitching excitedly, "I can't believe you remembered it so well! Have you been practicing?" Considering how much time the Doe had on her paws now, it wouldn't surprise Bianca. Although, Eli didn't have the love of music Bianca did, so it was also possible that she'd found other things to occupy her time, like finding ways to capture the attention of her Jack...
Leon... she suppressed a shudder. He'd been spending far too much attention on Bianca lately. It made her extremely uncomfortable. she comforted herself in combing Eli's beautiful mane and fur. She moved the mane aside, being done with it, and moving the brush down the Doe's back, somewhat entranced...

Eli didn't know what she would do without the people around her... probably just go crazy or get so bored that she had to eat her own fur. She laughed a little, quietly, her laughs tending to be on the breathy side regardless. "Yes, I've been practicing a little bit. I was having trouble remembering the words at one point and I had to sing it quietly to myself to get them all back, so I figured that I should probably keep singing it when I had time or I would lose them completely. And that would be such a shame. It's a pretty song."
She leaned into the brushing and sighed happily. This was shaping up to be a good day, overall, following quite a nice night. There was a reason her mane had been so mussed, after all, and it made her smile and blush to think about. She'd gotten that from her mother, or so the elderly Doe had told her when she was younger, the tendency to flush often and brightly. At least there was soft gray fur to mute the color. It seemed to shine a little bit more now that she was a Doe, almost a touch silvery in the right light. The change delighted her. Really, she couldn't find a single bad thing in her change to a Doe beyond a slight distance from her friend, and even that wasn't so pronounced.
"We'll need to get together like this more often," she said ruefully, shaking her head and smiling. "I don't want to lose all the pretty songs you took the time to teach me."

Last night had been a wonderful experience and the morning fun just as much so. Unfortunately the fun had had to come to an end what with certain paperwork and demands of he Warren to take care of. Luckily though they had easily been seen to and take care of. And now he had the whole day to himself to do with as he pleased. After a long moment of pondering on what to do with it he had finally come to the conclusion that it would be the perfect day and time to go for a walk. And so one could find him walking down the halls of his Burrow towards one of his Doe’s rooms. He was pretty sure that after he had left his bed the lovely Doe in mind would have returned to her own room, probably to take a nap. That last idea had him smiling as he rounded one of the bends that was in his route. Nearing the destination a sound caught his ear, and lifting them in interest he listened for a moment. It sounded like someone was singing? The sound did not last long, having caught it at the tail end of whatever it was that had been sung. Giving a shrug, he poked his head into the room, his body following close behind so that he stood in the doorway, leaning against it.

It was a pretty song, and she was unspeakably happy that the Doe took the time and energy to remember it. She smiled as she continued brushing Eli, running comb and paw over silvery, silky fur. So lovely Eli had become since she became a Doe. Leon was a lucky man.
"We should," she agreed quietly. She pondered thoughts as she brushed over Eli's fur, admiring the other Rabbit. She greatly desired to have that beauty for herself, the beauty of a Doe, but she was so afraid--
"Sir!" she squeaked in shock as she looked over to the door as the brush was nearing Eli's rump. She stared for a moment, then back away from his Doe and bowed, "Did you need to speak with your Doe alone, sir?" she asked in a very timid voice. The man had been really... encroaching on her space lately, making her very uncomfortable. She wanted to leave so badly...
...the discomfort was understandable, but why the guilt? There was nothing wrong with what she was doing. The brushing was necessary... she needed to brush where there was fur... and there was fur... all over Eli...
She looked up at Leon, wait an answer.

Grooming was one of the most pleasurable things in the world, right behind spending time with her Jack. Eli chirred quietly in pleasure as the brush smoothed over her fur. They'd all used to brush each other as Leverets. Maybe she should ask Bianca later if she wanted help tidying up her fur, not that it looked so bad now. Somhan had probably helped her with it not long ago. She-
Sir? Her eyes snapped open and her head twisted around, expression going from calm to bright as soon as she saw Leon lounging against the door frame. She didn't notice her friend's discomfort just then, mind instantly preoccupied with the presence of her Jack. "Leon, hello! I hadn't expected to see you until dinner. Can I help you with anything?"
Her fur was brushed and shining, her mane braided tidily, and her mood lifted by the singing and his sudden appearance. She was so glad she'd asked her friend to help her with that after her nap, else he would have come across her looking an utter mess.

He only nodded his head in reply to the Leveret taking her in. He had to admit that the idea of pursing her interested him, but he was not going to make any bold movement towards that nature just yet. He was more then enamored with his current two Does.
His eyes took in the situation that he had walked into. There did not appear to be anything incriminating on the surface but he was still leery. Maybe it was his possessiveness. He simply did not even like the fact that the Leveret had been alone with his Doe.
Turning his attention to his Doe he gave her a lopsided grin. “I only came to check and make sure that you were being taken care of, mon cheri.” He said giving her a wink. “I will need to leave soon. I have some business to take care of so I will be away for a few days.” He was going to stay at another Jack’s Burrow who was of his acquaintance.

Bianca felt a very unexpected and some what disturbing jealousy bubble up inside of her at Nayeli's reaction to seeing their Jack. What had caused this? She'd known of Eli's feelings for Leon... that's why she put the effort into becoming a Doe to begin with, so why...?
She merely stayed where she was, head bowed, until Leon acknowledged her. She was happy to be ignored, but she still felt... extremely uncomfortable to have him there. she felt as though he was watching every move she made. She did not enjoy his attention. Period. Positive or Negative. She made no noise, even to proudly claim she has been, and will take very good care of his Doe.
She couldn't help, however, feeling a wave of elation at his mentioning he will be gone for a few days. A short time, yes, but in those days she will be able to go about her work without somebody constantly looking over her shoulder. Yes, that would be lovely...
