(( OOC: Private for Now <3. What you've been waiting for me to do Xenon. XD I need to self RP first before we can actually let something cool happen. Sorry.)) Heike had gone out to the market. He shifted the baskets and bags so he could hop properly. Still dressed as a card he sighed to himself. Things had gotten "easier" at the warren now that they had more help and more Does. Everything wasn't on his shoulders even if he still had a lot of things to do and plenty of expectations. Nadja. He wanted to see his darling sister more often. He could feel his usual panic welling up inside of him. What if the Czar did something while he was gone? What if Nadja actually listened to him and.... no. She would never do that. She was happy as a leveret and enjoyed her job. He took a deep breath. He needed to calm down and pretend that everything was going to be all right. He prayed that everything would be all right. Hopefully nothing exploded while he was gone. The rabbit stopped dead in his tracks, eyes widening. How long had someone been following him?

Shashi had been slinking through the underbrush. He had left his other warren just so he wouldn't do anything stupid to condemn him to death. He was rather fond of that Jack, and he wasn't willing to see what he would do if he found out that Shashi wasn't a pretty girl. That normally let him get away with things. He didn't want to overstay his welcome anyway. The leverets were nice, the staff was nice, people were boring.... that's how things went. And sometimes the warren was in utter chaos, but it just didn't suit the Esterberry. So he found himself in the Highlands, wondering where the hell he was going to find a new Warren. His eyes widened with joy when he caught sight of a green and blue form. The were wearing a rather strange hat and a scarf over antlers, and there chest and back end were covered. Was it a rabbit then? He stalked the figure until it came to a halt. He wasn't going to make a move quite yet.

Heike's ears twitched under their coverings. He turned his head to scan the area of cards or any other unwelcome visitors. His eye's narrowed at the sight of white and purple among the trees. Apparently not all Esterberries were as bright as they claimed to be.
"You. Yeah you in the bush. Piss off." Heike growled before turning the other way and continuing to walk towards his warren. Whoever they were they obviously weren't a threat. Dumb as a brick perhaps, but no threat to him.
His ears still twitched in annoyance when he heard the rustling. Damn, this person wasn't going to quit it were they? He turned back around to stare at the person in the bush. Hopefully this wouldn't be a repeat of dealing with that small Card child. "You're obviously out of your region, and you obviously aren't the brightest crayon in the box... so would you just go away."

The Esterberry to the opportunity to pop out of the bush when the other rabbit said that he should go away. It wasn't his plan to be as annoying as possible, it just worked out well like that.
He smiled at the Avington, who was obviously a rabbit... with antlers. He had to admit that was pretty strange, even for someone from Avington. "You're exactly the man I've been looking for!" He said cheerfully.
He had to play a game of pretend. And it had to be a good one.
"You see I am recently out of a job, and I was looking for the perfect warren that would hire me for a new one. You, good leveret, must be a member of the warren I am looking for." He flashed an award winning smile at the other rabbit. "And perhaps a stunning rabbit like yourself is one of the head leverets?"

If his ears hadn't been tied down they would have drooped. This was the biggest load of bullshit he had heard in ages. Even he couldn't lay it on that think when he was trying to cover his own ass. Of course, he hadn't had to do something like that since he was younger and still being trained to be a proper leveret.
Apparently this rabbit did it all the time.
"No one looks for the Czar's warren if they're in their right mind." Heike said with a glare. "If you had any smarts like your region claims you would know he is one of the most feared rabbits in society, and he would kill you in a heartbeat for being such a pompous ass."
He really couldn't sit back and talk with him. "You're wasting my time. I need to get back to my job."
He turned away and hopped forward. The Czar wasn't expecting him back for another hour but Heike didn't care. He wasn't going to small talk with someone this annoying.

"No wait!" Shashi called as he leaped forward to catch up with the other leveret. The Czar was serious business. He was a terrifying Jack in all of the rumors, but he honestly couldn't be that bad. Other rabbits tended to exaggerate things, right? So only half the rumors were probably remotely true.
After all you couldn't believe something until you saw it, and even then you could only believe it half the time. So he could take the rumors about the Czar at face value.
"I really am looking for a job, and I really would appreciate it if you could help me! Have a heart, please! I'm down on my luck and I need a place to stay at the very least. If you Jack would reject me than I would leave in an instant!" He exclaimed.
It was a bunch of baloney, but he had to try.

If Heike had a hammer he would have used it on the other rabbit's skull. He rolled his eyes as he turned to look at the Esterberry. If he wanted a job that badly, fine. The Czar was always looking for help. And he would get to determine how much worth this rabbit had.
Frankly Heike thought anyone from Esterberry was going to be trouble in a Highlander Warren.
Hopefully this wouldn't end up backfiring and hitting the Avington in the face. He gave a frustrated sigh. "Fine. Get your tail moving." With that Heike proceeded to make his way to the back door.
It didn't take long for him to get to the backdoor and unload everything he was carrying in the door frame. Someone else was supposed to take care of unpacking the contents with one exception. He flipped open on of the bags and pulled out a small package. The Czar had sent him specifically, and really Heike had no idea what was so important about it. He didn't care.
Blue eyes fell on the Esterberry. Right. "Follow me."

The Esterberry practically pranced. Victory was his! Well. Somewhat. He wasn't entirely sure working for the Czar was going to be a good thing. The rumors were only rumors, but he never was good with perfectly structured warrens.
Maybe he shouldn't have left that nice place....
Oh well.
He hopped along behind the Avington. Honestly, the rabbit was quite a pretty one to look at. A lop ear twitched in thought as he debated on what his gender was. All of his thoughts came to a halt, however, when he was guided to the warren's back door.
It wasn't what he expected. Nor did he expect the other rabbit to be so horribly curt. What, did he always have a stick up his ass or something? Shashi rolled his eyes when Heike turned his back to him. Oh, this warren was going to need some livening up.

Aimili was training. She was growing fast, and stubby limbs were quickly stretching out to the lanky ones of her mother. Adulthood would be upon her fast now, and her teacher had made it clear what that meant. She was to become a Doe if she wanted her father to be truely proud of her, and failing that, she would need to learn how to work in a Warren. It turned out that there was quite a lot to learn, and she often found herself staring at a wall as she attempted to remember exactly how to do whatever task had been set for her. Today had been going well so far. She was waiting near the back door for Heike to return. Her Father Vikenti was expecting something, and it was her job to bring it to the Jack as soon as it was brought to the Warren. Soon, she would be expected to follow Heike out into the world... The idea of it sent a shiver of excitement up her back. When the door opened, the girl sprung to her feet, a momentary expression of panic passing through her eyes. " Did you find Master's package?" she asket, ears swinging forward. " I'll need to bring it right to him, then. It's very, very impor..." slowly, the girl raised her eyes and stared for a long moment at the Other Rabbit that stood there. " Who's that?" she asked lamely.

Heike couldn't help but smile when saw Aimili. Of the rabbits around she was a refreshing change of pace. Even if she was a little spacey when he taught her something new, she made up for it by being adorable.
"Yes, everything with smoothly. I have his package right here." He said lifting his paw. He gave it to her when she excepted it, nodding that he would explain the situation.
He didn't know the other rabbit's name. He could careless. "It is looking for a job with our master." Heike made no attempt to hide his disdain for the Esterberry. His region alone was enough to cause trouble in this warren.
One day he wouldn't have to deal with this.
---
Shashi smiled at the little girl. Hisstor-Highlander? Well that was fascinating. Not as pretty as he was, but not everyone could be. This was going to be an interesting warren to walk in if there were children running around.
Ah. Making people feel small. It was going to be great. He just had to get ready to kiss up to the Czar. Why not warm up with the little one? He completely ignored the other rabbit. No point in warming up to someone with a stick up their ass.
"My name is Shashi, and it's an absolute pleasure to meet you!" He said cheerfully with a head bob to Aimili.
Heike refrained from sorting.
