From what he had gathered it was a confusing and long winded chain of events that had led to his current situation. One of His Majety's children had an odd condition that was apparently giving the youngster some trouble and after debating about the topic Elyse had been called in order to consult on the issue. While she had been more than happy to try and help with the situation current issues at home had prevented her from being able to travel to the Club Court on such short notice for the length of time that it would take to complete the task. Not to mention once Iphis had caught wind of the situation then another path had been set into motion. And so here he was on his way to the Club Court to act as escort and baby sitter for one of the Queen's children. While was honored about having been decided on the best person for the job he was a little nervous at the same time. After all he did not really know anything about children. Their frailty and illogical nature had always been a small fear to the wolf. But there was enough incentive for him to take the job - mostly he did not want to be the victim or cause for a whiny Iphis - and if he did not do the job well . . . well there was both the Queens as well as his own new family to have to pay the price from. So here he was, at the gateway of the Club Court being intervened by a guard. Handing a paper over that he had been given to provide entry he sought to remedy the situation. "I have orders that I am to see a man named Whip at his request over a matter." The paper seemed to do its job for he was quickly allowed in. After asking short questions to learn his way another guard was provided to show the way. How he missed his old job.

He was here. It was the best estimation that could be applied to him now. He was facing the window because Enyo said he should. The weapon was at the table now setting up the tea. He could hear the porcelain clinking softly as she arranged things. Nothing wrong with his hearing. Just. . . everything else. They were in the small study off the main library. It wasn't his choice. He didn't care. Enyo had chosen the place. The meeting. The only thing that he was even slightly interested in was the reason, but even that could barely pull him from the darkness that swallowed him. His hooves clicked quietly over the floors of the palace and he wondered how long it was supposed to take him to get to the library. He knew there was a guard looking for him, sent out by Enyo to retrieve him, and that the guard had long since gone by to find the young man, but Vic had been near here already. He thought he even knew wot this was about; their fathers had been discussing a recourse for his horrible back pains for awhile. Well. Daddy had talked about it and Papa had listened and occasionally nodded. Enyo had agreed, though. Vic was hopeful. He wanted to go see the world. Beside him, Julia stood still, hiding behind the bookshelf with her glowing yellow eyes. Maybe he should wait longer?

He was given directions to go to the library, a task which involved walking down long winding pathways to find. It was here that he found yet another guard. The Court of Clubs was tight on their security of late - a result he had heard from family members from one of The Queen's children being kidnapped. It was a scary tale to hear that someone would have threatened the children's lives of the Queen so blatantly.
It was to this guard that he gave his name and reason for being there to be shown to one of the small rooms. Knocking on the door he waited for permission to enter before doing so.
"Good day." He offered in greeting to the female before him while he gave a bow. His eyes had quickly scanned the room taking everything in that they could. He had noticed the female right off the bat obviously though he did not know who it was and had spotted the chair before the window.
Still in a bow he waited for someone to speak before rising.

Enyo looked up as a knock sounded at the door and called for whoever it was to enter after she glanced towards her master and saw that he wasn't going to answer. Whatever.
When the wolf entered, the weapon watched him with interest. So this was the chosen bodyguard. That was very interesting.
From his vantage at the window, the stallion didn't move. Not that he could have even if he felt so inclined. Hoofsteps behind him, so he knew what would happen before the wheelchair was gently turned around.
He would have looked ghastly, especially to anyone who knew him previously if it weren't for the fact that a cowl covered his head and shadowed his features from view.
Enyo tilted her head at the wolf from her place behind the wheelchair. "Hello, Zeve," she said quietly. "Welcome to the Court of Clubs."
Vic was surprised to see someone go into the study and his yellow ears perked up curiously as he leaned forward and watched the door close behind the strange man.

"It is a pleasure to be here" He replied before raising him from his bow. "I have arrived in reply to a summons concerning a matter of his Majesty's son Vicious," he continued speaking in a voice that was more of an announcement rather than aimed at either or.
Having worked as a guard under the rule of His Majesty Serafino he had quickly learned that when dealing with those who were of the Court it was usually wiser to not assume what they knew or what they wanted. It was due to this that he waited for the topic of his purpose there to be broached.
He was also not completely positive that the person who was in the chair was indeed the man that he was suppose to meet. The female who now stood behind him seemed to at least know what was going on and was taking charge of things for now. Maybe he had misheard about the gender of this person named Whip.

Vic inched towards the door, glanced at the guards who pretended to not notice the small, flaming child or the skeleton that lurched behind him. Fortunately, they were both of sufficiently high rank to not be frightened off by Julia. One cleared his throat. "Time for the rounds," he ordered gruffly, and sent his coworker off to walk the hallways. He moved forward a few steps so that the boy would have a clear shot at the door but security wouldn't be compromised.
Vicious waited until they moved out of the way, then slipped up to the door and leaned his ear towards it being careful to not touch his flames to the door.
Enyo smiled kindly to the poor wolf who seemed very uncomfortable in his current role. "And how is Iphis doing?" she asked in a seeming non-sequiter. She felt her master tensing slightly, a betrayal of his interest in the topic.

Zeev blinked confusingly at the sudden change in topic, it was after the confusion had faded that he found himself relaxing a little, mostly unknowingly. "Iphis is doing well, thank you for asking. She had wanted to come along but had a few scheduled fittings that interfered with the plan. She sends her greetings and well wishes to His Majesty though."
It was because both of them had been busy and he still was without employment and his previous job that had led him to his current situation at hand. Because he was still without his own job, that he made sure to lighten his burden by trying to help out where he could. At one point - a situation he still did not fully comprehended in how it had happened - he had acted as model for one of Iphis' outfits. It had been a male outfit, of that he knew.

Enyo smiled encouragingly at the once-guard, slipping one hand against the paralyzed man's back and felt some of the tension slipping away now that he heard at least one of his children was doing all right. "That's good news."
"Tell him to come in." This was spoken so quietly it was unlikely that Zeev could catch the actual words, though he'd probably know that the man in the wheelchair had said something.
Enyo glanced down at her master in surprise. She glanced at the wolf before her before figuring out what he meant. "Oh, yes."
The zorse moved quickly to the door and pulled it open suddenly. She looked down to see Vicious pulling back suddenly, his ears flattening. He kicked a foot against the floor. "Hi. Enyo."
"Come on in, Vic," the weapon invited him and turned her back to him. "Close the door behind you."
The boy obeyed and eyed the wolf with open curiousity. "Who is this?" he asked frankly.

The wolf was thrown for another loop of confusion at the sudden change in topic. After his news had been acknowledged he blinked when the zorse suddenly leaned forward to capture whatever it was that the man in the chair had said. Though he had wanted to lean forward in attempt to overhear but knew his place and remained. If it concerned him then it would be notified to him for such.
When she walked over to the door and let someone in though his ears flicked back. Turning a little to look over his shoulder he watched as the two of them walked into the room.
The boy, Vicious, did seem to be a strange little outcome. He knew that His Majesty Aderlass had horns but there was nothing he knew of either parent that would explain the spikes that protruded out of the boy's back or the metal rings that circled him and were covered in fire.
He could see why the boy was having problems with sleeping and pain.

"This is Zeev," Enyo introduced the wolf, since the Ten evidently wasn't going to do so. She thought it must have something to do with the convoluted Court politics that she thought were pretty useless. Whatever.
"Why does he have feathers?" the Nine asked next still watching the man rather suspiciously.
"He can hear you, Vic," Enyo pointed out dryly.
The Morganberry mix's ears flicked backwards at this reminder and he turned his head towards the floor. There was a sudden shriek from beyond the door. "Oh! Julia!" The bipedal child sprang for the door and pulled it open. A low-ranked librarian had caught the skeleton hiding behind the bookshelf and dropped the books she'd been about to put away.
Whip felt the corners of his mouth threatening to tug upwards in a smile, though no one would be able to see it.
Vic quickly returned with his shambling 'pet' in tow and quickly closed the door behind him again.
