Oh... This wasn't pleasant at all.
Their nice little tea was suddenly getting quite crowded, more so than it had been before and increasingly uncomfortable for the shy butterfly. Parvana hid it well, but rowdy boys had always made her uncomfortable; a bi-product of her mother's sheltering she feared. Not to say that these boys were particularily rowdy, just that...well, they seemed to be quite bold in a way that made the Corvie shy down in her seat.
If only it weren't so rude to just...slip away...
Trying to keep her growing unease tightly to herself, Parvana smiled tremulously.
"Oh, ah... Hi... I take it these are friends of yours, Prelude?" The male that had approached them first, and who had taken a seat beside Dilis, was called Peder by the Lakeland canine and the second arrival also seemed to know Prelude, though he did not immediately try and make room for himself. "It's a pleasure, boys. You're not intruding."
Company was nice, Parvana told herself, she really ought to get more accustomed to it.

Dilis blushed at the sound of her name, she liked it when Prelude said it but she would never admit that. She was about to say more to him when a new person came up to the table. He was a handsome sort and it seemed like he was from the same place Prelude was from; it even seemed that they knew each other. The newcomer seemed suave and very personable, she was glad he came over to the table to chat. " It is a pleasure to meet you, good sir" She blushed again and held out her hand to this person Prelude had called Peder. Before she had a chance to say more, another came in after Peder and he looked oddly a lot like Peder did. " Hello, do you three know each other?" She asked shyly. They seemed to be a fun bunch when they were together and she could tell that their time together would at the least be interesting. She felt bad however because it seemed like Parvana was getting nervous about being around so many people. Poor dear... wish there was something I could do... She reached over and put a hand on Parvana's leg reassuredly. Dilis felt helpless because there did not seem to be anything else she could do.
What fun! Peder was glad he came into the shop when he did as he had not seen Prelude in at least a few days. " Jolly good, chap. It's a beautiful day and we're surrounded by beauties. How can it get any better? Sleep? bah. Sleep is for the weak, you can sleep when you're dead." When Prelude went to introduce the ladies to him, that piqued his interest. " Dilis, Parvana it is an honor and a pleasure to meet you as well. I have never been in the company of such lovely young women." He grabbed her hand as she had held it out and kissed it gently. Realizing Prelude had spoken to him, he turned his attention back.. for the moment anyway. " Things are well Prelude, old chum. I was looking for Pathos to grab some lunch when I noticed this stunning feline and butterfly through the window" He winked at the ladies seductively. " How are things wit-" He was interrupted by the sound of his only brother, Pathos. " There you are, Pathos. I was looking for you! What luck, you would find me in between two young women." He winked. The pretty butterfly seemed confused, Peder you twit you forgot to introduce yourself to everyone. " Parvana was it? Well Parvana-love, my name is Peder and this handsome devil over here is my brother, Pathos. We're from Selkie Lakes like Prelude here. Well now that is mighty nice of you, I know it cane be overwhelming to be around such handsome fellas such as ourselves." Now Peder was not choosy but with any luck, the pretty Avington... Dilis was her name? would be heading out the door, she being on his arm.

Prelude, no longer feeling very tired, but instead now he was just amused (if still a little a little bit drunk, no doubt from sleep deprivation--even if he didn't feel tired anymore), had put down his tea and said, "Ain't been too shabby, m'self, Peder. Just havin' a bit o' tea and a nice palaver with some very lovely lassies, and 'ey, do y'self a favor, eh? Treat these women with some respect." His tone was almost one of a mock pride and dignity, even if he did have some genuine dignity.
(What was in this tea? Ah, he was probably just being his old paranoid self.)
He made certain to kept his playful mood and his spirits high. He sipped his tea again. He'd been listening the whole time, and responding accordingly. It was like a dream, and it was wonderful. He took a second before acknowledging the new arrival. "And, ah, good ol' Pathos! How've ya been, old chum of mine? Been a time since I seen you, ah?" he said, almost disappointed.[/b] " You manage to snag a girl, yet?" He said nudging his friend playfully.

Parvana was growing increasingly uncomfortable. So many people. So many loud, bold people. The butterfly quickly lost direction of the conversations, they were going too fast. Closing her eyes for a moment, she began to drown herself steadily in her tea. One anxious sip after the next until her cup was empty and...yet still her nerves were twitching as if she'd been hit by a stray volt during her studies.
She couldn't keep this up much longer.
Not with so many threads of conversation shooting off around her. She just...she just wanted to get away from it. Sev and Ophelia had even been better than this. At least it hadn't been such a large group, such a large, ruckus group. Her bright blue eyes fell over onto Dilis, a look of pleading filling them.
She would have to excuse herself soon. She would have to escape this table.
"Uhm, please excuse me." Parvana murmured nervously beneath her voice as she found her feet. She didn't wait for someone to reply, for fear they'd make her stay, and quickly hurried into the restroom.

Dilis' eyes met Parvana's for a moment and she knew there was trouble. As Parvana made her way to the restroom, Dilis turned back to the boys.
"Excuse me Gentlemen, I need to powder my nose for a moment." She followed Parvana back to try and calm her. She found her quickly and put a paw on her shoulder.
"Parvana dear, are you alright? I noticed you looked a bit.. uncomfortable back there. Is it the boys? We could leave if you want; I just thought it would be fun to entertain not only ourselves but them. However, if it is too much I certainly do not mind you and I going somewhere. You are alright with just me, correct?" She wrung her wrists nervously.
"I am not sure what to do for you, tell me if there is anything." She smiled gently. She felt just awfully that Parvana was not having a good time and wanted desperately to help her.
"Respect? Of course, m'boy! You all of people should know I treat all ladies with the utmost respect."
He noticed that Parvana and Dilis had snuck away and it confused him. Had he done something wrong? Ah well, females were always acting out like that; if Peder were interested in men it would make his life simpler but now he would just have to grin and bear it.
"Ay, I think us handsome devils scared the ladies away. Is it my breath?" He breathed out into Prelude's vicinity and laughed.
"That's alright... Pathos, Prelude; what say you we go and have ourselves a real man's drink rather than this girly stuff. We can have a laugh and see where the night takes us."
He laughed. "Good, let's go boyo's." He headed to the door waiting for the two to follow. He and Pathos went to the bar down the way sometimes so it seemed only natural to suggest it.

Prelude took a minute to digest what exactly was going on. And then in an instant, he let it go. It was no use trying to decipher emotions, which he wasn't good at doing anyway. He looked back at the two who were clearly ready for more partying. He needed desperately to get some sleep. "No, I believe that I'm just going to go home before I forget just where that is." He laughed, but it was a real possibility. He staggered up to his feet, and out the door.
The two lovely females did not seem to be in his sight anymore, so he did not bother to attempt to say good-bye to any of them. "Good night, fellas. Have a drink on me! And don't party too much, eh?" He did not hear them, but he was sure they did not have a problem with that sort of request. He got to his feet once more, not realizing how he had managed to reverse this to begin with, and decided to go home, but not before paying his tab.

((Hope you guys don't mind if I hop in? <33)) A sparrow had entered the bathroom a moment before the butterfly, and was busy washing her hands as Dilis entered the room. Snippets of conversation came to her over the sound of running water, and despite herself, the bird found herself glancing over at the pair. It was more than obvious that something was wrong, and she hesitated slightly. Calia had learned from experience after experience that often times, it was best to simply leave others alone, and try to ignore whatever snippets of conversation made their way to you. She had also learned, however, that doing so left a bad taste in her mouth, and she would feel worthless for days. " Excuse me, ladies?[/b]" she said softly, moving slowly to the pair. Her expression was one of worry as she knelt beside the feline and the butterfly. " I'm sorry to interrupt, but I overheard your conversation... Is everything okay?[/b]" she was trying her best not to stare at the beautiful insect, as she had a feeling that her gawking wouldn't do a thing to help the situation.

By the time Dilis arrived, Parvana had squished herself against a wall and was trying desperately to subdue her anxiety. Such a large group was a bit unnerving for her and she was honestly quite ashamed by that. Dilis would know now just how sheltered the poor creature was and that only served to further her distress.
Even once Dilis arrived and quickly began to spout of this and that and things that might help, Parvana only shuddered more heavily. Anxiety fed anxiety and the butterfly was left positively speechless.
That is, until a new voice broke her quiet panic and she was forced to step outside of herself and save face. She had not been alone in the bathroom like she had originally believed. Her blue eyes shot upward and for a trembling moment she was left staring up into the worried expression of a lovely bipedal avian. Oh... She'd gone and made a fool of herself, hadn't she?
"I'm...I'm alright now." Her cheeks were flushed heavily but she bowed her head to hide that. "I'm sorry for worrying you, Dilis... and you too, miss. I just... I'm not used to big crowds, at all... It was, very overwhelming, to have everyone talking at once..." And flirting. Talking and flirting and all those things she was not accustomed to. It had all been too much.

Dilis understood why Parvana was upset, she herself had taken a long time to get used to being around people. Father had done his best to keep her from leaving very often so growing up the other lower children thought she was weird and made fun of her. She was not allowed to play nor associate with them so really that left her to play with her dolls.... alone.
Snapping back to reality, she remembered herself and the situation at hand. As she was about to comfort Parvana though, she noticed there was a sparrow that had been there while Parvana was upset. It was terribly nice of her to be concerned but she was not sure how Parvana would take the company.
The sparrow came over and knelt beside them now. "Excuse me, ladies?" she said softly, moving slowly to the pair.
"Yes? Well everything seems to be alright now, thank you for asking though" Dilis smiled.
"There just seems to be a convention of men out there, I can definitely understand being overwhelmed" She laughed.
She wanted so hard to make Parvana feel better that the only thing she could think of was to laugh and be cheerful.
"I am quite content to be worried about you, Parvana.... we are friends after all." She held out her paw to help Parvana up.
