Seki bit his lip nervously, uncertain as to how to react to such a thing. Dilis said not to worry and he believed her, of course, but that didn't mean he wouldn't be concerned. Strong magic could be dangerous in and of itself...
"If you're sure you're fine, I don't mind them at all... It was unexpected is all, but please be careful." He offered a weak smile. "I would not want anything bad to become of you on their account."
The slender feline l istened as Dilis went on, head tilted slightly with curiosity as he stroked Mocha. That was a strange thought... His parents had always been so kind, always trying to help... "Why would your father do something like that on purpose? That's a little unnerving." He knew not all parents were like his, but he couldn't help but think that such an action was more likely of someone like his brother, Rindal, than one's parents...

Dilis sighed and looked up at Seki. "Well... it could perhaps just be me being paranoid. I just get this feeling is all.. like he knew something was up before he gave them to me. Maybe I am just being silly" she admitted.
"Anyway, thank you. I will do my best to be as careful as I can with them. I have already seen what they can do so now it is a matter of figuring out (carefully) how to control the magic and use it for good. If that is possible...."
She reached to pet Aidan and took a breathe. The whole mess was really distressing to her, she cursed the day Father gave them to her though they were beautiful. They felt oddly attracted by their soft plush velvet and the swirls of pale purple and flecks of gold enticed her. She just needed to figure out how to control them before someone else got hurt...

Seki fidgetted slightly, frowning deeply.
That was such a strange thought. He'd always been so nervous of most people, but never his family and least of all his parents. To think that her father would purposefully do such a thing...
The feline smiled lightly, trying to be reassuring. "I'm sure you'll be able to figure out how to use it for good, Dilis. You're such a nice person." As she stroked Aidan, he allowed his fingers to slide through his darling Mocha's coat. The big old fluffy beast grumbled happily, arching into those trembling digits. Seki pondered the gloves, watching the way Dilis peered at them. Why would she keep them on if they upset her? She must have been quite attached to them... "At very least, I assume you'll be able to figure out how to control them eventually. "
Seki thought for a moment, figuring that it'd probably be best to change the subject while they could.
"So, Dilis, what have you been up to while we've been apart? Haven't been getting into anymore trouble, yes?" Such sweet people like Dilis didn't deserve it.
