((She is wearing her gloves today, they do terrible things.)) Dilis was in town taking a day just for her. After the incident at the Tea Shoppe she really needed it. She still was not sure what had happened... she was thankful Peder had been there to cover it for her. She still felt right in wanting to take a break from him though, things were not sitting well with Dilis lately and she needed to think things through. Why did the gloves react that way...She hoped no one ever had to find out but the temptation was too great, she had to take them out and wear them again today. She sat down next to the fountain with her bander, Aidan and pet him absentmindedly, about to pick up her book when she saw someone familiar but... not in a way. " Seki? I-is that you?" she asked incredulously. She got up slowly and walked over to the Diamond she had remembered as her sweet gentleman friend.

How did this always end up happening? No one ever stayed. Family was there, of course. Even if he was too ashamed to show his face to them, they were there... Yet, even their constant attention could not fill that miserable emptiness that haunted every aspect of his life. He ran his fingers through his mane, sulking through the sparse crowd toward the fountain. Mocha followed close at his heels, eyes clouded with worry as she waddled after the broken male like a momma bear looming protectively over her cubs. When a sudden voice ripped through his quiet contemplation, Seki literally jolted away from the sound and crashed into a nearby bench. The collision caused him to mewl with pain before swallowing and looking meekly up at the owner of the voice who had called for him. A human? ...He didn't know any human women, did he? At very least he was sober at the moment, mildly hung over but sober. "Y-Yeah? I'm Seki." He ran his fingers nervously along his neck, his expression shining with pure uncertainty. "Do.. Do I know you, miss?"

Oh right... Dilis understood what had happened... She had not seen Seki in a long time, it must have been before she got her human form... he may have not even seen her Bi-pedal form. Of course, he would not know her... silly Dilis. She quickly changed and smiled at him sweetly. " It is Dilis, remember Seki? We met quite a long time ago but we had a lovely meeting here. You helped me find my way. Oh I am so glad you are alright, Ophelia said... well, I guess it does not matter what Ophelia said, it is just good to know you are alright." She really was relieved, Ophelia had seemed so concerned that Dilis find Seki and spend time with him but really this was the first she even saw him outside and she had been looking every day in Capital City for him since she said that.

Seki, for all that he hated to admit it, had become something of a night owl. If that was even the proper term for it. More often than not he slept during the day and spent the nights up in the local pubs or clubs, passing between the company of his boyfriend at the time and his boyfriend's friends. It was always the same...and it did a wonderful job of keeping him hidden from the general populace.
And, most of the time, that was exactly what he wanted.
He didn't want to be found.
The young feline was thankful when Dilis assumed her bipedal form, giving him a more familiar image to get accustomed to. Not to mention that humans, with all their weird facial expressions, were not only hard to understand but slightly unnerving to be around.
"Dilis?" He gasped slightly, blushing nervously beneath his dark fur. "I... It'd been a long time. Yes, I remember you now... You've changed a lot." Why did he bring that up? Even he could recognize that time hadn't treated him nearly as kindly as it had treated Dilis and, really, he didn't want to get into all the details of how and why that was. "Dad? ...Yeah, she worries too much." The boy smiled but it never seemed to reach his eyes. "I'm doing just fine."

Dilis was happy to hear his words, she would have felt foolish had he not really remembered her. "Yes well, I was nudged a bit to get my Human form and a higher rank" she laughed.
"I am glad to hear it Seki, she really did seem concerned and of course that concerned me in turn... I just wanted to make sure" she knew something was wrong but she could not tell what it was... he was hiding something, that was for sure. She did not want to press him though because obviously whatever was bothering him was a touchy subject, she feared it had to do with the reason he disappeared for so long.
She quickly put a smile on her face so as not to alarm him. "So what are you doing in the Capital today, dear?" she said warmly. She was rather curious that all of a sudden she ran into him.
During all of the chatter, Aidan must have decided that he was curious about the other bander so he walked over slowly and sniffed at it. He was prepared for a fight if it turned into not such a nice encounter. He was a chubby little thing but he still knew how to protect himself and his master.

Seki watched the feline with a look of trepedation, uncertain of how to respond to her attention. He almost wished that she hadn't found him, that he could've preserved for her the image as he was when they first met. A little lacking in self esteem but... but at least he wasn't a disgrace like he was now.
Was Dad really that worried about him? ...How long ago had it been since they spoke?
"I live here, mostly." Though not in such a nice area... "I don't usually spend much time in this area though." He wasn't even sure what he was doing out here now. Trying to get away from things, he supposed, like always. "Do you come here much?"
Mocha puffed up suddenly as Aidan approached, the spotted bander growling a little although she didn't make any direct move to attack. Seki merely glanced down at her, making a little noise to remind the old girl to mind her manners. She glanced up momentarily, making a small noise of protest before relaxing her bulky frame. All things considered, she was twice as big as Aidan and built like a small tank of fur and fat.
Seki adored her above all else.

"I spend most of my time here in between visits with my Peder, The Courts and doing chores for Father" she nodded.
"I was actually taking a day for myself for once when I ran into you" she laughed. It was not quite an imposition on her day though, after all... it was Seki and she still thought him adorable.
"Mocha! I did not even notice you there" she smiled as she pet the spotted bander. She was not sure if she would react well to her as it had been quite awhile since their encounter. She wished Seki no harm though so she figured the bander would not care very much. Aidan however seemed to be getting on her last nerve.
Dilis bent down to pick the chubby little thing up before he had a chance to investigate Mocha again. "Now now Aidan, behave yourself" she chided. Silly little thing, she really did need to get a leash for him... and well, it gave her a chance to see Ashwin again.

Seki's ears perked a little, his eyes hinting at curiosity. That was a name he hadn't heard before... "Peder?" He smiled lightly. "And you've made it to the Courts? Congratulations, Dilis."
He hesitated as she mentioned taking a day to herself, hoping he hadn't intruded. Was she only staying because she'd been worried?
"It's good to take time to yourself. I'm not imposing upon your free time, am I?" Well, that was probably a bit of a dumb question... She had called him over, after all. He bit his lip for a moment before tensing and glancing down at the little bander which Dilis suddenly acknowledged. Looks like she'd gotten one for herself as well.
"Oh no, I doubt he did anything at all. Mocha's just a bit noisy around other banders, harmless though." He laughed a little, leaning down to stroke her head. "Your Aidan is very cute, how long have you had him?"

"Peder is my suitor" she smiled as she mentioned his name. Things were... complicated right now since she received her gloves but she still loved him. She nodded
"Yes, I have made it to the King Rank, I am just seeking a place under a queen right now." She really hoped it would happen soon, Father kept mocking her for the fact that she had the rank but not the title...
Dilis was endeared to Seki once more after his question. "No no, of course you are not imposing. I am actually glad to have some company, I get a little loopy if left alone to my own devices" she laughed.
She relaxed a bit with Seki's reassurance. "Aidan pretty much saved my life, I decided to get him shortly after our meeting to quell the loneliness. He and I have been inseparable ever since" she grinned as she pet him.

"O? Then I wish you the best in that as well. It's nice to be pursued." ...Seki was pursued, but in such a different way that he refused to even think of it at the time being.
"I hope you place then, if that's what you're looking for." He chuckled lightly, smiling. "I've never been much of a Court person. I don't think I'd be suited for all of that important stuff. Not like Severus or Mephit. T-Though I have been debating a specialty, so I guess I'm going somewhere?"
When Dilis directed her attention down onto Aidan, he smiled awkwardly. He couldn't help but wonder how literally she meant that. Mocha had very much been the same sort of life saver. She quelled the loneliness, surely, but she also kept the worst of assaults off of her. Well, when he let her. Sometimes it became such habit that he forgot how much it hurt and there was nothing Mocha could do to save him from himself.
"That's wonderful. Sometimes I think Mocha is the only thing keeping me sane anymore." Instantly the feline cringed, realizing how loaded those words were. ...Perhaps that was the wrong thing to say in the given situation and with her current worry over him.
Bloody idiot...
