Six or seven days? Damn. Waiting never was her strong suit. The heron sighed but nodded her head. That was pretty expensive too. For someone who never wanted a bet and was just giving someone a gift. Thanks a lot man. Thanks a lot. "All right. I'll be back in six days then to pick him up. My name is Loreta, and I suppose if the bander comes in early and you feel so inclined as to contact me, you can contact Stork Messenger And Delivery Service."
She looked over the cat briefly. Some women were just downright shameless idiots weren't they? Loreta rolled her eyes as she turned back to the door. She hopped her way out of the building, having her usual grand struggle with a door. After she was finally free of the place she calculated time. Seven days at the most. The Hatter was going to have to wait for quite sometime, wasn't he? He had already been waiting for her reply for how long? The heron almost felt guilty as he went back to flying down the streets.

Ashwin inclined his head briefly to the heron as she made to leave. "Loreta, then. I'll see you within the week. Knowing my suppliers, I doubt any of them will be inclined to hasten delivery, but you never know."
((Your next post = sevenish days in the future. <3))
After doing his 'duty' as a shopkeep, he could turn his attention more fully to Dilis and his smile became much more charming. Would she be a receptive young lady, then? She certainly didn't look very old, perhaps in her early twenties or late teens. Her speech was soft and polite, as were her gestures. Obviously she was gently bred. Sometimes they could be a challenge, occasionally worthwhile. She seemed... amenable, though. Maybe.
"I would be more than happy to help you with banders, Miss...?" he let the sentence trail off as he took her paw and kissed the back of it, the edges of his mustache briefly brushing against the sides. "I'll make every effort to find you a less 'active' bandersnatch, of course. I always care for the satisfaction of my customers." When they were young and pretty and rather endearing in their mannerisms. That certainly made things easier.
He paused and looked at her, eyes lingering on the features of her face. "Nothing would give me more pleasure than to meet with you after hours for instructions on handling... banders. Perhaps I can show you a few tricks that not everyone gets to see. Not everyone can offer you the experience I can. When it comes to these delightful creatures, of course."

Time was a rather difficult for Loreta to grasp sometimes. But she managed to mark the days off of her calender properly and it had been exactly seven days since she had went to find the yellow pointed bander. She flew above the streets debating on how she would reveal this little surprise to Hatter. Hopefully he would be thankful. Well. She figured he would be thankful. Bright yellow and bander just seemed to fit for him.
Why was she spending money on him, she still couldn't grasp. With an unceremonious flop of a landing she made it to the front door of the shop. After a bit of a struggle opening the door (stupid freaking doors always gave her so much trouble) Lore hopped in.
"Please, please tell me that the bander is in," she said slightly out of breathe. She had been doing rounds all morning and it took her quite a while to get back to this part of the city. Why the shops were so far apart she had no idea, but she was here. Take that fate.

After Ashwin had dealt with Loreta, he turned back to her. His face turned from serious to that of a pleasant nature and Dilis was glad.
"Oh thank you ever so much, I doubt Father would have the time nor the know-how to help me train my bander. My name is Dilis, it is quite the pleasure to meet you sir." The whiskers of his mustache tickled the back of her hand and she let out a giggle.
He was terribly nice and Dilis decided that she liked him, he hadn't poked fun at her and that was refreshing. "I am so glad, I just knew you were the honorable type and it is nice to see I am correct. Oh, I hope they are not too difficult tricks to learn... if so, that might require you teaching me more times" She cooed and smiled at him in the way Father told her that Mother used to do to him. "I will come back after the shoppe closes and then we can start the.. lesson. Until tonight, Sir Ashwin..." She gently took her paw back and slowly walked to the door. Perhaps tonight would be a very interesting night.

A little figure would enter the shop now with a bit of uncertainty. He'd been told, by a nice old woman, that perhaps he should stop by this particular shop because the man's wares might be able to keep him a bit safer in the world. He was a bit skeptical, but she had given him some odd coins and told him they were to be used here, so he'd give it a shot anyhow. His eyes landed first on the yellow creature sitting near the shop keep, was that what she was talking about? They certainly were cute, but how would they help protect him from the bullies of the world? Perhaps there was something under that adorable exterior that made them wonderful protectors? There was only one way to find out really, and thus he'd content himself to wait for the shop keep to tend to his other customers. He was in no real hurry, was he?

Ashwin had just been carrying a fresh shipment of items over to his cabinet when Loreta came in the door - well, came and hopped and almost fell. Ah, yes, she'd been in before and had him place an order. He certainly wouldn't forget a face like that. Or a binding. Or a missing leg. She was quite the unique character. "You're the one who ordered the eyeblindingly bright yellow with points, yes?" he asked, putting down the box by the foot of the cabinet and standing to go check his books. "Loreta? Yes, you ordered it about a week ago and it came in yesterday. It's a bitey little thing but it could certainly be worse. Give me just a minute and I'll go get it upstairs. In the meantime, that'll be fifteen." So saying, he went upstairs to nab the bright yellow creature and carry it down, avoiding teeth and claws. It wasn't a flailer, but he knew it would gnaw if it could. "Here you are. One male yellow with points."InfoName: ID: BS027 Color: Yellow Pointed Male Genetics: XY rrYybbCc DDppTTll
After he completed the transaction with the heron, the pine martin noticed a young creature sitting off to the side of his shop, a mix of his own region and the Lowlands. He arched an eyebrow and made a gesture at the child. "You there, come to buy or just to gawk?"

It had been quite awhile since her last visit, but attempts towards ranking up had kept her from the man's bander shoppe far longer than she cared for. Still, she had a few extra hours in the afternoon and recent events had brought her here in hopes of finding a gift for a long-time friend. And someone she hoped would continue to be her friend, despite the great length since they'd last seen each other. Kelasia sent Ashwin a small, blushing wave, not wanting to interrupt his interaction with his current customer, though she did head for the notebook with the pictures of his current stock. Almost immediately her eyes lit upon two different banders, and she seriously hoped no one had yet made a bid for either Jelly or Leafy; she would love to be able to purchase the pair, though only one of them would be coming home with her.

Loreta grinned, oh that was fantastic. She set the proper amount of money on the counter top as he left to get the Bander. Hopefully Hatter would appreciate this gesture of friendship. Or whatever it actually was supposed to be. She never really had bought something like this for someone else.
She blinked at the blinding creature. Oh wow, Hatter was going to love this, wasn't he? The heron paused for a moment as she tried to figure out how to properly carry the bander. Uh.... okay the leash was just going to go in her beak. Damn this not having hands thing. "Thank you, I'm quite happy you found something this annoyingly bright. He's absolutely perfect."
With a grand struggle the little bander reluctantly started to walk forward as she hopped towards the door. It was going to be a long time before she got home, unless he figured out how to carry the bander while flying and not have him.... eat her good leg.
Stupid. Complicated. Things.

His attention was drawn from the creature by a voice that he was certain was the shop keeps, and he quelled his urge to jump at the sound. Now was not the time to be his generally fearful state, it was people that he was afraid of... not banders. Although, he probably should have been. He adjusted his wings, and his feather tipped tail, and turned his gaze up at Ashwin, managing a smile that almost seemed confident. Everyone here was just so much larger then he was, and the scars upon the shop keep only added to it.
I'm here to... buy, no gawking.
He was trying very hard to give a good impression to this man, but he wasn't entirely sure if it was working or not. He had a grand place to take the creature to as well, should Ashwin deem him worthy enough to take one of these creatures home, and he was rather fancying the idea now. He moved toward the pine martin, purple claws clicking softly against the wooden floor. He looked up and thought for a moment before speaking again.
Sir, I've got a lot of space for one to roam... do you have any that are... less likely to... He paused again, thinking on how to properly end his sentence, stray away?

Ashwin watched with amusement as the heron left his shop and looked back to the boy, not noticing the door staying open a tad bit longer and another customer entering at the same time Loreta left. He raised an eyebrow at the child's question and leaned back, considering. What a bizarre little mix he was, though perhaps not unexpected in terms of regions. He'd met one or two people of both the Sorgaire and Lowland regions who came from happy enough households. There was one feline in particular he bought snacks from every now and then who spoke fondly of her home. Well, before that unfortunate incident, but that didn't bear thinking about.
"A bander that won't stray away. Boy, if you can form enough of a relationship with a bander, it will stay with you whether you live in a cramped apartment or a fifty acre plot. It's all what you make of it. Any of them has the potential to form that kind of attachment. Which catches your fancy?"
As he glanced towards his catalog, then and only then did he notice Kelasia flipping through it. His eyebrows raised in pleased surprise and he offered her a smile. So the lovely woman had decided to come back to his shoppe? Excellent. "And a good day to you, Miss Kelasia. It's been quite a while since your lovely self graced my humble shoppe."
