(( Buh! sera is failboat! @__@;; Gomen nasai for this delay! ))
If Darius had been in his right mind, perhaps he could have ducked his head or thrown his body to one side, but the pain! The pain was so overbearing, he couldn't think at all, much less move. Honestly, the ram didn't even feel the fingers on his head, unaware of anything but the pain firing through his body. The Three couldn't cast a spell or defend himself in anyway. He had no friends here now to save him, and no one aware of who he was, or even that he needed assistance, likely, other than the unknown that Darius didn't know about trying to aid him.
Unless something amazing happened, the ram would, indeed, fade away in the next two minutes. His breath came in sharp rasps and the Avington had no will to try and save himself; He stared dully out at nothing, willing himself to numbness and nothing and feeling little more than relief when he finally faded away.

The Ram sank to the ground and, as Finistris watched, faded from existence.
As this occurred, he was released from the pain ability.
Odd...
He brushed himself off, still wincing from the lingering aftershock. "I've no idea who you are, Heart, you've kept that from me, at least. You've also denied me the pleasure of my kill...I find this to be...lacking in your affective manners, you weren't involved and you've spoilt my night. Congratulations, I hope it suits you well." He called in the direction of the sudden sound...and at this point knowing better than to chase after it. If he still hadn't spotted this Heart...well...
He didn't want another battle like the one with the strange couple he'd been bested by a few weeks ago.
"Now, if you're through playing the hero, I'll bid you good night, the mist will clear up soon, it has no intoxicating properties. If you wish to see to this thing getting a burial, help yourself. He didn't seem to be objecting to highly to his end, I'll have you note."
He felt a bit huffy. Really, he'd even picked a lagger who hadn't been all that up on staying alive. Hearts, damnably stupid beasts. With egos to match their idiocy.
Turning, unless otherwise engaged, he headed off into the night.

Peaches watched in mild disappointment as the man brushed himself off and spoke. Aww, the pretty boy wasn't happy about her interfering and now he was going to go and pout somewhere? That was really depressing. She wanted to have a little more fun. Then again she was dealing with a person who hand mercilessly murdered someone without a second thought.
She should be careful. She should be cautious. The woman juggled the rocks she was holding in contemplation. If worse came to worst she could always use one of her powers to escape. Not to mention the man couldn't see her.
Oh look and he was being a proper gentlemen. The woman rolled her eyes as she caught the stones setting them down quietly. Leaning over the building she watched him. Huffy bastard. "Good Sir! You have no appreciate for the art of killing! I was just trying to make your foreplay a bit more interesting!" Hopefully he wouldn't look up or maybe he would just keep walking? "Shame such a pretty thing like you wasted his evening on being boring!"
For whatever bright reason she decided to pick up one of the stones and toss them. It wouldn't hit him, not even close since Peaches had no real intention of hitting him, but it would at least indicate that she certainly wasn't done harassing the man.
(( OOC: .... I'm sorry. Peaches insisted on opening her mouth despite my protest. ))

His expression twitched from mildly displeased, to sour for a moment. His lip curling as he tired to simply keep walking.
"Were you? Terribly mistaken, was I?" He asked quietly, tone bordering on a snarl as he allowed his fingers to dig into his pockets. Otherwise he might shred his tie again. Damn things were expensive now that he could no longer generate his own...
Her grammar...gads, she was trying and failing to imitate a higher class lilt... Hearts... He heard the stone clatter on the ground behind him and rolled his eyes, feeling one of the bone rings snag in the fabric of his pocket and forcing his hand still until he could remove it without further damage. Damn if his hunts hadn't been going well as of late.
This loudmouth, the Hearts whore who got away, the Badger and the chatterbox who ruined her, and the pair of monsters who had taken him out as easily as the garbage. Pah! What was this world coming to? His hair was only just growing back to its normal length thanks to that rather creepy Canine barber in the outer Bazaar, the scar in his forearm was just healing from the Badger, his chest still ached where his ribs were mending and the steel plate in his head was in insult to injury whenever he thought about it.
The people out here were tougher than he had thought.
"Boring, no. I simply don't extend an invite to those I cannot even see. It may not spoil the fun for you, Heart, but it dims my appetite if I don't even know the face of my opponent. How am I to visualize your expressions when I see nothing. Farewell."
He would truly leave unless the voice bothered to show itself, he wasn't in the mood for party games.

Peaches made an amused sound at his agitation. This was fun. He didn't seem to want to play unless she came out though. That was tricky. If things got too bad she could always use one of her powers to escape. However he was a psychotic killer. And the more she thought about it, he must have been the one from all the rumors.
So he was quite dangerous. Especially considering the damage he had done.
Then again how could she pass up an opportunity like this? It wasn't every day she got a chance to watch someone as interesting as this. "You're a cruel man," she called out as she slipped her fan into one of her sleeves.
She trotted over to the fire escape, hopping onto it with a clatter. She wasn't particularly inclined to deal with grace in any form. Grabbing the ladder on the slide she slid down, hitting the ground with a soft thud from her boots. After settling her hair and skirt she decided to pop out of the alley way.
He must have been the one that Seth and Heilyn had come across. "Hem, looks like I was wrong to say you were boring. You seem to be the man from the rumors," she said slipping her fan out of her jacket and cracking it open.
This was a bad idea. Why did she always have to tempt fate like this?

"Cruel is better, you're treading water now, keep it up." He answered flippantly, continuing forward hoping the voice would fade away until the form clattered to a halt and spring from an alley way near him. He felt his heart jump.
The Heart had quite literally come from nowhere.
At the crack of the fan, he stopped walking.
Oh? Really? Wanted a tussle, did she?
He felt his knees lock and he slowly shifted them into an easier position as he eyed her up and down.
Torquehelm. No doubt there, she wasn't even likely to be a mix. Human...that made things more interesting, though he had to admit to being wary now...the last two Humans he had picked on had given him a run for his money.
"Good enough of you to admit, now what is it you want, really?" He eyed the fan dubiously. "I'm going to make an assumption, but is it one you really want? I'll ask you this once...but I'll inform you up front that I am not fond of Hearts."
His face was practically expressionless, but he could feel his temper rising. His Jack's ability was out, but he still had a few tricks he could pull. Heard the rumors, had she? Had she seen the injuries?

As far as stupid went this was on the top of her list. However she had to play things cool. That way she might walk away without losing something important, like her life. She really didn't want to die.
She wore her normal smirk, it was simply a natural expression, and she truly hoped it wouldn't agitate him more. It was impossible for her to keep a straight face when this nervous.
"I can't say many people are fond of Hearts. We tend to be elitist jackasses, and I can't imagine you've been treated kindly as them as a Spade." She gave a small shrug. "As far as what I want, well. Originally I just wanted to watch. You know, it's not every day you come across a beautiful scene like that."
She made a slow and broad motion to the poor dead man. It had been quite the display, though it had been funnier when she interfered. "But I suppose I really just want to know, if you're really as good as they say you are at making people scream."
Peaches took that as an opportunity to attack, activating her heart ability she sprung forward, swinging her fan with every intention of smacking the man across the face.
Moderate Magical Ability: When activated, she gains an immediate proficiency with any weapon that she picks up. This can be activated and deactivated at will.
Battle Fan: This strange looking weapon is as light as a feather for the wielder but will hit an opponent like (quite literally) a ton of bricks. If swung in a quick circle, it can also mesmerize cards under the rank of 7 for up to an hour. During that hour, they will simply sit in silence and stare off into space...most end up drooling as well <3

After counting up all of his points, I went ahead and bought him a new ability, a 50 pointer. Have fun! It would have been more, but I have to save the rest of his points for dubious other things once he's dead. Woo!He let a small, sardonic smile slip across his features at her description of her own Suit. Adequate, at least she was aware of her own Suits' faults...he was certainly aware of his. "A beautiful scene like that?" He asked, eyebrows knitting slightly. He felt slightly cynical, people didn't look at him and expect him to be a killer, so he certainly shouldn't think that this woman couldn't be one. But the tone of her voice, her actions...she almost seemed to be contradicting herself, hell was she playing at? He cocked his head slightly to one side at her next statement. This Heart was damnably confusing. "If I'm what?" In what context did she mean that? He had no further chance to ponder this, however, as she leapt forward with a will, bringing her large fan forward powerfully. He'd been tensed for something from the odd Torque, and brought his left arm up in time to protect his face. It hit with a meaty thwack that left the limb throbbing like mad, and partially numb, the thin bones within suffering a small fracture that rendered the pinky and ring fingers useless. This caused the man to stagger backward, though he managed to catch his balance within moments. He hissed in enraged confusion and tossed up a small protective spell he'd managed to learn after that encounter a few weeks ago with the bounty-hunting pair that had nearly snapped him in two. Moderate Ability: Once a day, he is able to force a great mass of bone from a limb of his choosing. This bone structure will be light to them, heavy and painful if smashed onto others, it is smooth and flat on the inside, with small, backward facing spikes on the outside. This spell lasts for two minutes, but makes holding a weapon that require two hands utterly impossible. This structure will block most physical attacks and any attacks based around water. Some highly magical weapons, summoned weapons, and magically based physical attacks may crack it, though. He chooses his stinging left arm as it feels kind of dead now anyway.<3With an odd rending noise, the man's left arm seemed to split in two, bony protrusions forcing their way out of his skin as a wide smile split his face. "You want to have at it, my dear?" He brought the shield up to block any further attacks and kept on his toes for quick movement, she moved like a damn Feline! "Fine, my turn."His arm burned with the new sensation of his shield. He liked this stupid thing, it fit him, and the pain was his own. Small Ability: Twice a day, he is capable of causing an opponent's body to shiver uncontrollably as though they were freezing. The spell will last up to a minute on any Card ranked King or lower, but only twenty seconds on Queens or Jokers. Many can still move while this is going on but not well. When coupled with his ground spell, they will have a hard time getting up at all.Amazing Ability: Once a week, he is capable of causing an opponent's left hand to slowly begin splitting in half along the middle finger. The spell will take a full minute to complete and will continue as far as just before the elbow. The process feels just as bad as it looks, with the arm being torn in two by an invisible force, it can be halted if the caster is knocked unconscious or sufficiently distracted. He wasn't going to wait to drop the big spells on this woman. He knew she was a Heart...he didn't know what rank. He wasn't risking another incident like last month. "Curious, were you?" He asked, stepping back and hissing softly at her movements. "Then let's hear you scream."

She hit him, it wasn't on the face, but she still managed to land a hit. Her lips twitched into a slight smirk, as she hopped backwards. The expression changed abruptly when she heard the cracking sound and saw the bones appear.
Oh shit. No one had mentioned that before.
She gave an alarmed sound as she pulled her fan back to make another attack. If she was fast enough she might be able to get another hit while he didn't expect it. However, she wasn't so lucky.
Her body suddenly started shivering on it's own will. A surprised sound escaped her as she took a step backwards from the shock. Her grip tightened on her fan as she struggled to ignore what was happening. This was messing up her speed and balance. Damn it. She had taken on more than she could chew hadn't she?
And then her finger in her left hand felt funny. She activated her pain ability to ignore it. In mid lunge forward she found that the pain shattered her ability. Everything seemed to stop as the realization of the fact that her left hand was slowly being torn apart.
Her mind went blank with panic as a yowling scream came from her mouth. This was the most painful thing she had gone through. More painful than torture. More painful than having words carved into her hand. But at least it wasn't as painful as watching her brother die. Funny. Why was that the first thing to come to her mind at a time like this.
She was on one knee, shaking uncontrollably, crying and screaming. Think. Think. She needed to think. She couldn't panic. She had to think of a spell. Any spell that would work. Why couldn't she think damn it? Her right hand was still tightly clenching the fan as she struggled to stand.
Stupid idea.
She hissed as she cast the only spell she could think of.
Basic Magical Ability: She can ignore moderate amounts of pain for up to twenty minutes.
Amorous Ability: Once a month, she is now able to cause up to two Cards of her choosing to suffer from an incredibly strong, and insatiable lust for another person that she picks out. If she chooses only one person, they will immediately hone in on her, falling desperately and hopelessly in love/lust with her depending on the individual, for a full 30 minutes. During this time, the individual will do almost anything, short of hurting someone they normally wouldn't, or themselves. They will spend copious amounts of money on her, or take her anywhere, or front her. the only hitch is that instantly after the spell takes effect, they are in need of copulation, they will have to have her, or risk harming themselves trying to get to her. The only other option for this spell is to choose two people and cast it on them. They will try to find a place to be alone as fast as humanly possible and more than likely spend the hour fornicating. If 150 points are spent (by either the caster or the recipients), then there is a 50% chance of children resulting in one of the poor victims chosen, also randomly rolled. Using this ability on herself (or on only one person, thereby affecting herself) will cause her to fall in a semi-form of lust with the other person as well for the duration of the spell.
(( OOC: ... *headdesk* I'm sorry, as much as I didn't want her to use this damn spell it was her natural reaction. *headdesks again* ))

It's ok. Just remember that it's still points with this power to try for a baby. <3 Nako got one because Fin genuinely wanted to put his dong in the Squirrel...and I rolled 3 20's and 2 19's. He wishes his dong powers were that great...that's Pale's power though <3 O___o You can, however, give it a shot!...You have much more of a chance than she ever did.
Her less than graceful drop to one knee caused a smirk to flit back across his features. Good, good, no ice attacks or freakish fiery wires aimed for his face. Just a lovely cry of distress as the rending process of her hand was fully taken in.
She shook and screamed, her frame trembling and hair spilling messily across her jacket and over her knees. Blood pooled by her feet.
"Are you satisfied, my dear?" He asked, trying to keep the smug tinge out of his voice so that he could, if possible, simply leave. He had a mate and son to go home to, thank you very much. The Ram he had planned on, and fit nicely into his schedule.
This was overdraw.
"If we are through and you've had your taste of the macabre, I'll take my leave."
He made it about five steps before he nearly pitched over onto his face, his head swiveling back around t the sounds of distress and his legs coming to such a jarring halt that his kneecaps squeaked in protest. The inside of his head felt carpeted! What was going-.....on....
His vision fogged lightly at the edges and he felt the knowledge of where he'd been going and why he'd been in a hurry draining out of his mind. The thought had about four seconds to terrify him before he simply stopped caring. This woman...
Now that he bothered to be less of an idiot was quite appreciable...her hair, though tangled was such an elegant shade...her boots brought her calves to life and her face...torn with sorrow...such a beautiful visage.
"On second thought..." He moved closer, kneeling down beside her and moving quickly to wrench the fan from her pain-filled grasp. "If you'll be good and promise not to use any spells on me...I might just deign to stop the pain, my dear..." He murmured, getting right in her face, ignoring the cries.
Pain!, Such a beautiful experience. He watched her throes with delight, the effects of the spell causing him to practically curl against her with arousal as he watched her bleed.
If she agreed, he would lift the spell, causing the splitting to stop halfway through her palm. I know of a place near here...are you interested?" He leaned in so that the tip of his nose brushed her throat. "Do you think you'll be capable of taking it?"
