(O.o nice gift! Now I want this thread to go to 30 pages, XD...)
Menefer was glad to be away from this blasted place. He knew that once the owner had found out that one of his aces were stolen, he might just tighten up security and make sure that no one else would be able to come back in... maybe even hire some thugs. Menefer didn't like that idea at all... it would be the end of him if he was killed.
As they walked down the streets did he stop his gagging and continue, but deeper in thought. He wondered who would kill the ace... would she want him to do it, or would she rather do it herself? Would it be a test to her for him to do so... and why wasn't the ace acting like it should... it acted as if it were in some sort of daze. He wondered if it was a side effect of malnutrition. Would that change the flavor at all?
Once that he saw that she had ducked behind into an ally did he follow suit and hug close to her. He wondered what she was up too... did she mean that they were really going to catch their breath or meant to kill the ace? He got goose bumps all over at the thought...
"Love... have... I mean what... where are we going to go?" he asked his heart rate quicking... things were just moving a tad too fast for the soon to be cannibal chef.

Nellwyn turned to give Menefer a smile as he stepped into the alley, and she moved closer to him, sinuously and casually, tail twitching. She kept walking until she was a breath away from his face, and their whiskers were inches from touching. "Don't be afraid," she whispered. "There's no one here but us. If your heart is too weak to do the deed, than I shall do it for you, if you wish." Her eyes gleamed, wondering what he would say. For, indeed, she was testing him. Nellwyn could taste his fear quite well from this distance, and is made her shiver slightly. Perhaps the other Feline would interpret it as reluctance to kill the vermin.
The Ace, for her part, stood stock still, staring ahead with a glazed expression. She wasn't even looking at them, but seemed to staring at the far end of the alley, as if completely unaware of what was going on around her.
Nellwyn continued to stare at Menefer, waiting for his answer. Another little shiver went through her, a little thrill at the thought of what was about to happen. Corruption was made sweet, and the anticipation made it sweeter. Either way, the blood of the Doe would partially be on Menefer's paws.

He stood there for a moment as he looked to her and to the deer. He couldn't quite wrap his mind about it, and he felt like he just didn't have it in him to be killing anything. Live stock and all was different than what he was going to do now. After all... it was a sentient thinking being. He gave one last shiver as he moved a bit away and sat against the wall. His mind was racing a 100 miles per hour... and he just couldn't stop it at all. Things were just getting out of hand, his breath quickened, he felt as if things were being rushed too fast.
He looks back to her a frown on his face, "I can't do it... I can cook... but not kill..." he said as he looked to the deer. "Where are we going to take the poor thing?" he asked as he rotated his shoulders to release some of the stress that he had built up in them. He had never been like this before... and it scared him to the bone.

So he wasn't going to do it? Weak. He was still weak. Nellwyn's smile slipped away and her claws flexed, eyes flashing with some dark emotion. For a moment the thought flashed across her mind to kill him, as well. To show him the true meaning of fear, of what he was doing to the Doe. Of what he -should- be doing. But no. She still had use for him, and perhaps there was hope for him yet.
"We'll kill it here," she muttered, and drew a small knife from a hidden sheath on her back leg. It glinted in the light as she turned toward the Deer hungrily. "Or I will do it, since you lack the heart for such a deed. One day, though, you may find it necessary, as I have in the past." So saying, she approached the Deer, who stood there placidly as the Feline came at her with a knife.
Nellwyn grabbed hold of the Ace firmly, backing it against the wall and putting her knife against its neck. Then and only then did she relinquish control. The Doe's eyes suddenly went wide, and her breathing quickened. "What...what you doing?" the frightened creature asked, attempting to struggle as the knife began to slowly press into her throat, cutting fur and skin. "Miss? I thought...rescue! Safe! This not safe!" As blood began to flow freely from the wound, and Nellwyn was silent, pushing the knife in further, the Deer's wide eyes sought out Menefer. "Please! Please no!" she shouted.

Menefer didn't quite know what to say to her reply and didn't know what to do with what she had done. Could she not do what she had done eariler? Control the pathetic creature so that it wouldn't feel the pain and wouldn't expect this? Wouldn't it be a lot better than what she was doing now? He just couldn't believe this, that he was going to watch her kill her.
He stepped up beside her as she was placing the knife closer and closer to the throat of the other. He placed his paw upon hers and gave her a shake of his own head as he pulled the knife from her. If anyone was going to do it then it should be him. It was his idea and not hers... no matter how badly she wanted to do this, it was his alone to do.
"It is mine alone to do... my idea... my sick fantasy..." he said as he gazed at the ace, "Hush now... I'll not let her hurt you." he said as he quickly turned the knife in his hand with the skills of a profesinal chef and sliced the knife into her heart with quick percision. It would be quick... and nearly painless.

As Nellwyn slowly controlled the knife, pushing it further and further into the throat of the Ace, a twisted smile was on her face, and her eyes were alight with a glee and a malice that would seem completely alien to anyone who had only known her as Mrs. White before. The blood flowed freely, and mixed with the red of the Deer's fur, and the sweet, sweet cries of pain were as honey to Nellwyn. The blood sang to her, and she answered with a small purr. Soon, soon she would hit the vocal chords, and the delicious pain of the Ace would go unheard. She paused to savor the moment--
And felt Menefer's paw on hers. He made to take the knife on her, and for a moment she glared at him, eyes wide and wild, already reaching for her pain ability--but then...then she let go, and backed up, bowing her head to hide her expression. She watched him through suspicious, half-lidded eyes. Had he finally grown a spine when the pathetic thing mewled in pain? Apparently so.
The Ace was crying. Her knees shook, and even if she wanted to run, there was no strength in her limbs. Her throat burned every time she took a breath, and she looked up at Menefer with wide eyes. "Please," she whispered. Sudden pain came next, a gurgling breath...and then blackness.
The Tulgey with bloodied paws watched as the Torquehelm made his first kill of something that could speak. Her expression was clouded and hard to read, her head raised again now. She was silent and still, unnaturally so, as she waited for Menefer to say something.

He waited for a moment over the cooling corpse. His paw held tight to the blade in his hand looking at the glazed eyes of the fallen ace. The ace that he had killed with his own hands. He couldn't believe what he had done here, he couldn't place two and two together and just watched as the pool of blood from her wounds slowly filled the cracks in the cobblestone ally.
When the flowing blood almost came to his paw did he jump back and sit on his haunches beside Mrs. White. He gazed up at her.
"What am I..." he asked without much emotion in his voice, still shocked from what he had done to the ace. And to think... he still was going to have to cook her. How sickening...

Nellwyn's expression was dark, and still mostly unreadable, as she turned to eye Menefer in the half light. She'd sat there, still and silent as an unfeeling statue, as he'd watched the blood pool out of his victim. Now, she gazed at him for what probably felt like a long time, saying nothing. Nellwyn wanted to take her unresolved bloodlust out on something. She wanted to -punish- Menefer for being so weak.
She was too dangerous. Mrs. White forced Nellwyn back down, and the Feline's expression slipped slowly into one of sadness, her ears drooping. "You're my boyfriend," she said softly. "And a good man, corrupted by bad circumstances." No! Nellwyn raged, rattling the bars of her self-made cage and pacing like a trapped tiger. I corrupted him! Me! It was all me!
Mrs. White nosed Menefer gently, and tried not to feel slightly ill at the smell of so much blood. It had been a while since they'd smelled death so strongly, and poor Menefer...if he'd told them the half of it, the streets of the Capital must all stink like death. Good. Filthy mongrels. Let's go there. Let's kill!

Menefers expression turned to a sad face to a happy face. She approved of him, she approved of what he had done! Everything in his life was right once again, he had made her happy and with that made him happy as well. He rubbed up against her as well and slid the small knife into its sheath that was so cleverly hidden. He gave her a smile, one of true happiness and turned back to the dead corpse.
"Through this deed I have made my choice. I shall continue with what was started til the last. Forever changed I'll push through til I die." eh said in a almost chant like as he walked around the pooling blood towards the bloody neck which Nellwyn had nearly sliced.
Once there he turned back to her. "Where should we take dinner?" he asked as he sunk his teeth into the soft back of the ace, lifting it off the ground with ease.
He wondered how they would conceal the blood that was dripping from the wounds. A heart wound was a great bleeder.

Mrs. White smiled at Menefer weakly though his words were ominous. Of course, Nellwyn was actually quieted a bit by them. It made her grin inwardly. Perhaps he really IS a changed man! Mrs. White gingerly followed, stepping around the blood, as if wary of getting her paws sticky. When her darker nature was in control, of course, it didn't matter much to her if she bathed in the blood of her conquests, but Mrs. White liked to be clean.
She looked at Menefer, eyes distant with thought. To Scrooge's place, of course! her inner self cackled, but Mrs. White shook her head. They'd leave a trail of blood. "Follow me, please," she said in a quiet voice, and began to lead out of the alley and out of the city. "We should prepare the meat first, so as not to drip blood everywhere," she added, while her inner darkness seethed over the necessity. Her heart still pounded to kill something, robbed as she had been of the Deer's final gasps.
The Tulgey led him to what looked like a restaurant, but it seemed to be abandoned. The door was boarded up, as were the windows. She nodded to the place, and then glanced back at Menefer.
