He wanted to give himself to her utterly and completely and yet for some reason, mostly the pain, he just couldn't do it. He wanted to pull away, he wanted to remove himself from this and yet the kiss held him steady as a great rock in front of a large waterfall. He would be moved by the pain eventually though at this moment he would relish it for it comes with the pleasure that she was giving him. He didn't want to give up this moment for anything in the world. Even for the most expensive foods that the realms had to offer. He opened his eyes to be staring at her closed eyes with tears flowing from his eyes. He knew he was crying from the pain and thus his haunches fell to the ground because he just couldn't keep his legs from shaking any longer. His paw reached up to her face and cupped it like hers was to his. His own claws slightly there touching her skin without piercing. He would cup her face and sheath his claws and pull away slightly. He knew he could never hurt her the way that she does to him, even emotional or mental pain he didn't want to cause her. He wanted to be her everything and thus he pulled away from the kiss removing his paw from her face and laying it lightly on the paw she had dug into his face. "I love you Nel, and I could never hurt you." he said in a whisper close enough that he could feel his whiskers touching hers. He would lean in for a peak on the nose kissing it lightly in a romantic type way and even though it hurt like hell, he smiled at her.

As he pulled away, as Menefer broke first as she'd known that he would, Nellwyn smiled, slowly, and opened her eyes to look into his. There were tears, she was slightly surprised to see, and yet not surprised at all. Her claws stayed where they were, on his face, digging just slightly in, and her eyes remained half lidded. She felt her paw on his face, felt the barest touch of his claws on her skin, and her heart beat faster for a moment. Was he going to do it? Would he return the gesture?
He didn't, of course, and once again she was hardly surprised. She pulled back from him, just slightly, wondering if he'd try to escape now that he'd seen her for who she was. She had, after all, revealed her true self a little earlier than she'd expected to do. But he didn't try to pull back any further. Instead...
Nellwyn smiled a little at the Torque's words, and removed her claws, sheathing them slowly. She leaned in and licked the cuts she had made on his cheek, running her tongue over them tenderly and lapping up all the blood. Her tail curled around his waist as she did this, the illusion of captivity. Her paw steadied on his back, but her claws stayed sheathed, for now. She leaned close to his ear and whispered, in a voice that would just barely tickle, "You're a wonderful fool, Menefer." She said it in a voice like honey, with a purr underneath it. The words might get lost in just the sound and feel of her whisper on his ear.
"What do you want? Tell me truly." She pulled back just a little, but left her face close to his.

Menefer looked to her and saw her for what she was, she was the sweetest thing that he had ever met in all his life, but he knew that she was also a twisted creature and he loved it! He sat there and let her lick his wounds that she had caused, let her treat him so good after causing him so much pain. He loved it and wanted more. She could cause him soo much pain that he could ever take and he would always be there beaten and bloody as she would tend to him so tenderly. He couldn't contain himself as he purred deeply in his throat, his heart racing as he curled his own paw upon her check to draw her closer than she already was, just close enough as he could lay a kiss upon her at any moment.
"You are the most wonderful person that I could ever have met. I am so happy that we had bumped into one another." he said as purred through each word, sounding milky and smooth. "If you ask me that would you truly believe me?" he asked as he placed a tender kiss on her lips the taste of blood from where one of her claws had accidentally went through. He would pull away from the kiss and lay as his tail swished back and fourth kicking up dust here and there as it went by.
He gazed over his shoulder at the slow cooking meat and knew that it was ready to come off the stove and spit. That it was ready to be served with all the side dishes that he had also made. He knew at that one moment what he truly wanted.
"Nell I want you to partake in the feast of flesh with me, and only me and no other. Be with me through my transition into the dark world in which I have started. Walk with me as I gain the power of others through their flesh. Be here with me as I cook the flesh of others that we once knew or never knew. To be with me forever and always, through the darkness and into a enlightenment of the taboo that we are about to commence." he said as he got a bit rough and placed a paw behind her ear and drew her close to him and kissed her so deep that he had cut one of his lips on her teeth, though he cared not. He had said what was on his mind and knew what he wanted. He knew nothing of being stopped now... and if she said no he wouldn't know what he would do, or what he would be capable of doing. He probably go mad from the loss of something so great. Something so tender to him and yet so mean. He loved every moment and didn't want it to go anywhere but with him. He would never be able to think of others being with her... he would truly go crazy and kill them off as well, and eat their flesh as he was about to on this ace.
He pulled away, blood pouring from his lips as he gazed upon her. He leaned over and licked the side of her face and stepped back and went to finish the feast of flesh. He would make the plates to the best of his abilites as if they were being served regular food and he loved every moment of it. He placed Delicate foods next to the main course of small delicate things of small meats and flavors attached to them, with sauce made from the ace placed atop.
He would take said plates to the small table that had a candle lit upon it from when they had come in lit the place. He placed the two chairs and waited for her to say something and come take apart of the Taboo he was about to comence.

He was close to her, so close, and Nellwyn felt her heart race. She could kill him, now, if she liked. A bite to his throat in just the right place, and he'd be dead, screaming out her name as he bled out on the ground, and she'd ride him down into that dark place from which he'd never return--she forced those thought away, her eyes dark as she gazed into his. Was he saying something? Did he answer her question? Yes...he was. He was making such promises...oh, she could laugh to hear such things! Laugh and laugh and never stop.
She wasn't insane. But she lived in a different place from most Cards, thought on a different level. They were all lighter, frivolous, thinking they went about in the better way...but they were blind to the truth and to the darkness that was over everything. Born in darkness and to darkness they would return. Life wasn't happiness. Happiness was fleeting. The moment you stood over the rapidly cooling body, watching the life run away from their eyes...it was brief. It didn't last. An endlessly happy, beautiful moment. Pain lasted. Pain remained after everything else was gone. Pain and blood and darkness.
Menefer was finally understanding this. She'd never thought to hope for this moment. If she killed him now, it would never be any worse...but that was a fleeting happiness. Broken promises of forever and only would cause lasting pain. So she smiled and kissed him and tasted his blood in her mouth, and when he pulled away, she turned, following him with her eyes, watching him like a predator.
"Yes," she said finally, simply. "Only you, Menefer. You and me together in the dark." It was a lie, of course. But it was a pretty one. She went and sat at the table, feeling a sort of odd giddiness at this moment. She'd never eaten her victims before. And why not, she asked herself? It seemed a natural way to dispose of the corpses.

Menefer wouldn't ever know what she said was a lie, he wouldn't ever be able to completely read her as she read him. He would always remain in the dark when around her, but that gave him just enough room to be happy with her and the less that she actually told him the better off he would be. He already could start to see a future with them two together, but it wasn't no white picket fence thing that he had seen before, now it was more like spiked iron cruelly pointing to the sky daring any to come near, for fear of being eaten and killed. Maybe even that order as well.
He placed the steaming plates before Nell and the other on the other side. He went back to the kitchen and dug around some knowing that the chef from before should have something hidden somewhere. He reached under the cabinet and started to feel around, he was concentrating to much that he didn't realize it but he was looking up towards the ceiling and he had his tongue out. It was comical. Though a surprised look crossed his features as he pulled the hidden bottle from the sue chefs area and looked at it. It was a bottle of strong whiskey... Menefer wasn't a hardcore drinker and this could end up bad... but it was a full bottle and not even opened just yet.
He grabbed two glasses and and set the glasses upon the table and set the whiskey near them. He threw his paw over it and made it her favorite Tuguly drink and pour them both a cup. They would get drunk really quick after this.
"Dinner has been served." he said as he sat on the other side of her and picked up his fork and knife.

Part of Nellwyn was certainly enjoying this, being served. She'd made the right decision to not go for the momentary satisfaction of the kill, when this would mean so much more in the long run. She smiled at him, dazzlingly, disarmingly, as he set the meal before her. Of course, then she had to wait for him to get...something. A flash of annoyance hit her, and her eyes narrowed for a moment, but his back was to her so he wouldn't see the expression. She hated waiting, even though she had a lot of patience. But that was by choice. She chose to take the long, slow, and sweet road to revenge. If she were forced to wait, as it was now, it served no other purpose than to make her wish she could reach in and tug the threads of time to speed things up.
Of course, she was smiling again by the time Menefer made it back, bottle in paw. Her eyes glittered dangerously as she took in what he'd brought. "Whiskey?" she laughed, tail swishing around to brush against his legs briefly. "Quick and dirty, is that how you like it?" Her eyes glittered playfully as she spoke, and anyone who knew what was going on behind them would be running in terror. Wine, she thought, would go a lot better with this meal. Though...she watched as he waved his paw over the bottle. Was he using that trick, again? The one to alter the taste? What a useful Card he was.
"And a good dinner it is," she purred, and raised her glass in a mocking toast. She took a sip and was immediately assaulted with the burn of hard alcohol...but the taste of a rich red wine. Mmm. Very nice. She set the glass down, savoring the taste, and then reached to take her first bite of Card-meat.

He gave her a nod and it was a great thing that he wasn't able to see the looks that she had gave him when he had went to search for something to drink. Water wouldn't be that great at the moment and that was something that he wouldn't have allowed. The spell that he had cast was one that he had used with her before and he made sure that it tasted just like she liked it before.
He gave a nod and rose his cup as well and toasted took a sip of the harsh wine and set it back down. He took up his fork and pirced the meat before him and cut off a delicate slice. He knew that he had killed the ace, had cooked the ace, and now... this was truly the moment of no return. He placed the well done meat into his mouth and began to chew.
Surprisingly it tasted good. It was tough, due to starvation of the ace, but it was tender through the slow cooking and suceses that he had used. He loved it, and he took another bite after another. It was good, but he didn't quite know if he would gain anything from this. It was probably because it was a weak ace.
"So how does it taste to you?" he said as he placed his knife and fork on the table and took another sip of the whisky.

Nellwyn chewed the Ace meat thoughtfully. It was a bit stringy, since the Ace was so underfed, but she'd actually had worse before. Not Card meat, of course, but she'd been forced to eat squirrel a couple of times, and...at least this was more flavorful. But it was a bit overdone. Almost burned compared to how she normally liked her meat cooked. Still, at least it wasn't all tough, like a 'well-done' steak. She might have had to complain, then. As it was, the novelty of eating Card meat almost made up for the fact that it wasn't as juicy as she liked.
"It tastes lovely, dear," she said easily, because it rather did. It was the texture she was less than impressed by. Another few sips of the whiskey-wine washed down that bite, and she licked her lips daintily. "Are you enjoying it?" The Feline fixed him with an intense yellow gaze, revealing that there seemed to be more to the question than just idle chatter. Menefer was, after all, well aware what he was eating, and that it had been something sentient with the capability to speak to him. It quite amused her, really, that he'd chosen such a smart Ace for their first kill.

Menefer was quite pleased with himself. He had gain so much pride in what he had done, he had cooked the ace to what he thought was perfection, though he should have remembered the first dinner that he had cooked for her and have made hers a bit done and not well-done. He stood there and set his fork and knife down beside the plate. He looked down and saw that the meat was cooked well, and the vegitiables beside them were tender but not soft. This meal was fit for many rich folk...
if they knew what they were eating that is...
He gave a sigh and looked up to her. "Thank you love, I do enjoy this very much so.... I feel as if I have been enlightened." he said grabbing the cup in one of his hands and takling a large gulp of whisky-wine. He gave her a smile.
"We can leave no evidence... we have to torch the place love." he said with a smile. His parents never let him play with matches...

Nellwyn's smile could have blinded a Queen, it was so bright. She took another sip of her drink, as well, after swirling it around a bit. Due to her tolerance for such things as well as the fact that she'd eaten a rich meal, she wasn't feeling any effects at all from the alcohol yet except for a pleasant tingling warmth in her paws. "Then I was happy to enlighten you, dear," she purred, leaning a bit across the table, until she could smell the alcohol on Menefer's breath. Her tail twitched and she lowered her eyelids a bit, gazing at him in that lazy Feline way.
She laughed, at his suggestion. It was an oddly pure sound, coming from her, unfettered by malice for once. "If you really think that's necessary," she said lightly, and then leaned closer still, avoiding getting even one piece of her long, silky fur in the food by virtue of Feline grace. "We could also leave it here in case we needed a secret kitchen another time. No one ever comes here, anymore." But the way he looked so eager to perform arson, his eyes shining...it was almost endearing, if Nell had any concept of such a thing.
