*Has always wanted to do that... but is scared to!*
Last November when I didn't have a job would have been ideal... this November with 12+ hour days is less so.

I must be really tired. At first glance I read that as 'Smells like Nako!'
.... *pauses and sniffs armpits*

I... would have no idea what path to pursue in writing. ;_; I don't do long pieces. Collections of shorts, yes. But then I'd need to figure out what to focus shorts on. >.<

Eeeeeeee! I'm SO excited! I absolutely love NaNo, even if it scares me at times. No matter how many times I hit that mark, just thinking '50k words in 1 month' just kinda freaks me out. o.O

I did it two years ago and actually finished! I ended up having to write 14,000 words on the last day in order to make it. Both of my eyes were twitching SO MUCH by the end of it.
My friends want me to enter again with them this year, but I'm not sure. I have no ideas and even though my friend just says sit down and WRITE, I need a direction to go in before I start! Otherwise, the page just stays blank.
So I'm not sure yet. Maybe. Probably not, but maybe.

I've never done it. Kind of wanted to, but been very intimidated. >_>

[rolls in] I intend to do /something/ for NaNo but I may also be starting a new job and training for said job in the middle of November, so it may or may not actually happen. Ultimately, my plan is to do something light and simple this year. If I do start the job in November, I'm pretty sure I'll just go back and rewrite/edit/update a collection of my short stories that are desperately in need of revisions to save me some time and sanity. If not, I kind of want to do something based on SoD this year. Either counting posts or a crack NovelFic. Still not entirely sure which I'll be doing. Any opinions?
And uh, username wise, I'm pretty sure I'm just Vyn. Heh. >_> Add me!

NAKO IS SO STINKY! D8!!!!! hehehehheeee It can totally be intimidating to write a novel in a month, but, gads, even if you don't make it, it's still a load of fun. ^^ i'm not sure of my chances this year (SPPPAAAWWWNNN), but i'm still going to try. ^^ Here's hoping Balthier starts working before then. X___x;;;;; *aims Jenn in the direction of, uuhhh. . . . adventures of her D&D character! 8DDDDD* Lucca, i demand you come write with us! Also, DawnStar and Vyn have both been added back! x3

Wow. I've never tried NaNo and quite honestly didn't know about it until about a year ago... I still really don't know much about it, but it sounds like a fun challenge... [Intermission for reading specs....] HOLY CRAP! This sounds terrifying, exciting and fun! I have no idea what the hell I'd write about, but I think I want to do this. Just to say I did it. Oh man. And it's during the fall, one of my favorite seasons ever, so hopefully I'll be inspired to WRITE. Thanks for posting, Sera! P.S. I also thought it said "Smells like Nako"... then again, I haven't been able to sleep in this crazy humid weather... XD
