Some of you already know, some of you do not, but I'm going through a small mental breakdown linked to the disappearance of my beloved Bobcat. My parents got home from a vacation to Hawaii to find that the 20-year-old cat had just... vanished. Neighbors reported seeing her wandering around, and then she was just gone.

It's been almost two weeks since anyone's seen her.

The neighborhood is plastered with signs, I've made postings all over the internet, my mom's been calling all the shelters daily and I sent a notice to them... But still, no luck.

The worst of it is that I'm 6 hours away and can't even help find her. She always comes when I call her. Always. But now I just... Don't know where she is. Or if she's okay. I'm worried, and the worry is starting to give way to just plain depression. I've had this cat since before I was two.

I really miss her. I hope she comes home soon.

Unfortunately, if she's that old, there might be a chance that she went off and found a...private place. Cats do that, from what I know. Not all the time, but occasionally.

Personally, I hope she comes wandering in, as catlike as a cat can be.

It's perfectly understandable why you're feeling such anguish and frustration right now. I truly hope that she comes back home, safe and sound.

Oh nooo, not the Bobtat! I'm really sorry she's missing and hope she turns up, soon. I can't imagine what I would do if my kitty went missing, and I've only had her a few months not a couple decades!!

I mentioned to the sibs to keep an eye out when they're in your part of the neighborhood. I think one of the sibs is still walking your neighbor's dog, so I'm sure we'll have an extra set of eyes out there.
