Mephit rolled her eyes as well, a smirk stretched on her maw. Honestly, she hated them all and their meaningless babble. Not a single one of those loose-mouthed, loose-legged women knew how to keep their compulsion to gossip in check.
Xiven's comment actually tugged a chuckle from Mephit. This was why she enjoyed the woman enough to be her King. She was an outright bitch.
Sliding in behind Xiven, Mephit was all too amused at the sign of terror and recognition flicking through his expression. Oh yes, she was totally a snitch today but that was fine by her. She'd much prefer to see this one squirming than to earn his respect. Inside the room, waiting for Conway to speak, Mephit would only smile as those serpentine eyes bore into him. He seemed rather small now, a lot less confident than when he'd been standing in the hallway. Xiven really had him licked, didn't she?

Xiven glanced over at the deer with a smile. Apparently Conway was going to plead the fifth despite that wonderful little ability he had. She closed her eyes for a moment and sighed.
"My King told me about your little stunt," she said as she slowly crossed the room. Her eyes were fixed on the man's movements. He was completely still as he stuffed himself in the corner. It wasn't like he could get away from her no matter how hard he tried. "So I wouldn't play dumb if I were you."
She leaned forward, closing the gap between her and the Joker, a smile on her face. "So what do you have to say for yourself for disobeying me?"
It was silent for a long moment as Xiven held the man by his cravat.
Conway was frightened though he wasn't about to admit that to himself, and he was going to do his best not to let it show. He focused on the woman who was threatening to punish him, his expression blank. It didn't matter what he said at this point, because it was obvious that the Queen was going to do something to him if he admitted the truth or not.
And that bitch just had to tell Xiven everything, huh?
"Well, dish it out Your Majesty." He gave her a forced smile.
The woman snorted. "Mephit, how do you think we should punish my little pet?"

The orange-eyed woman stared in dark intrigue as Xiven beared down on the scrawny human whom, in response to her looming, had effectively he jammed himself into the corner more than Mephit honestly thought possible. This was how she loved to see Xiven, full of sadistic pleasure just like her father had been. It was part of what made this rank change so satisfying. Now she got to assist Xiven directly with her tortures.
Speaking of Punishment.
A purr rumbled through her thoughts, echoing the satisfaction that she felt. Yes, "that bitch" just had to tell Xiven everything. It wouldn't have been nearly as fun if she hadn't. A cruel grin spread over the serpentine doe's muzzle and she stared pointedly at the emaciated human. Would they extract an admission of guilt? Or would this beaten puppy just sit back and endure? He looked like he'd taken quite a beating so far.
"I've always found scarification a wonderful way of making a lasting impression."

Scarification? Xiven let out a rather giddy sound at the idea. Conway had been through quite a bit of that lately but it was only enjoyable to play with it a bit more. He did take it gracefully to a degree but with that collar every time he tried to make a sound he would be in horrible pain.
The woman grabbed the man by the collar, pulling him out of the corner. "I think if we aggravate what he already has we might have quite a bit of fun. Shall we take him down to the dungeons Mephit?"
Conway wanted to scream. Of course he couldn't, so he generally looked horrified. At both of the women. They were really going to...? And he figured that he had to keep a mark on his chest. What kind he was completely unsure. Ten of Hearts? He couldn't remember what Xiven had said. He knew he wasn't supposed to let anyone else know of what he was beyond Apocalypse and Xiven, and he could only dream of what Xiven would do to him.
So he decided to be a two of hearts for now.
Hopefully he could keep it on while being torture. What fun.

What a delightful sound Xiven made to that suggestion. Mephit was already pleased with herself and she hadn't even done any real work yet. Aside from actually encountering the woman's 'pet'. What a pleasant day this was turning into.
"Oh? What he already has?" Now it was Mephit's turn to make a sadistically pleased sound. Cutting into old scars? That would be fun. Some scars were numb, but particularly sensitive areas could in fact receive the opposite effect with the scars becoming acutely sensitive. Either way, cutting through them would be a blast. "That sounds like a lovely idea, My Queen."
Mephit pushed the door open and lead them down to the dungeons where she would pick out a lovely unoccupied cell with the proper restraints set-up: shackles that would include an extra chain for his collar. He'd be almost entirely immobile well they worked, unable to do anything but watch and (hopefully) squirm.

Conway was literally dragged off the bed for a few feet before Xiven hissed at him. "Use your legs, damnit." He weighed very little but it was still difficult to drag his dead weight around. Bah. Maybe they should try to force feed him again so he had a bit more energy. And maybe he would stop being so sulky?
Well she doubted that. She had abused him something awful and he did have every reason to be sulky because he seemed terribly straight besides his... well. Perhaps she shouldn't go there in her thought process. It was just a befuddling mess that left her sulking in the long run.
And Xiven was about to torture someone. That gave her every reason to be cheerful. She pushed the man forward, as they walked down the stairs.
Conway was debating on a way to actually get out of this mess. If he fought he would obviously be over powered and punished. If he waited for this punishment he would just receive this punishment.... hopefully. He was going to get something painful later anyway.
This sucked. He glanced at the deer-snake woman. Why did she have to make everything so damn complicated?
