((Fleur doesn't remember much, just that something huge and dark colored shot out of the reeds down by the river and snatched her up, hitting her behind the head roughly before running with her. She woke up, pained and exhausted near the wrought iron gates lining the Palace of Spades, how terrifying for someone who's never seen full Card architecture before! Her middle feels awful and she has a horrible sense that she might know what's wrong with her...
Meanwhile, Wulfram wakes up to find himself trapped outside of the Palace of Spades after Zane has left for his coup with the Diamonds Court. He is unable to get inside as all of the doors and windows will dump him right back outside of the front gates. It's pouring down rain and if he runs around to the library window, he might be able to call to those inside...but seeing as they can't get out...it may not do too much good in the long run. Have any of them tried tossing magical items out to him, though? Would it really do any good? But, what's this? His discovery of a heavily pregnant Fleur is sure to be of quite some interest.
Zeki awoke about ten feet from the Palace gates as well, a horrible sense of foreboding lingering around his head and a desperate desire to get back to the Hearts Court to find his Virtute drives him rather powerfully. Wulfram needs a Corvie though...to keep this lovely specimen alive. He's not likely to let the boy go when he could be of so much use...and maybe all that money he;s offering could buy something to help Vir? Who knows?
Yours goal is to locate one another and see what you can make of the situation with the Palace, there may be a way inside, if you can be creative about it. If not, a shed out in the garden may have to do. Once Fleur has begun to split, we'll see what your next step is.))

Fleur shouldn't have gone off to "explore" like she did. However she had slowly developed the habit of not listening to Heike. He was going to trade her off soon anyway, so why should she listen to his every word? The rabbit never thought she would have regretted such a thing. Her head hurt. With bleary eyes she looked upwards. A scream escaped her as she jolted up. Oh no no no! This wasn't good! Where was she? What was this place? This didn't look like anything she had seen before! It was almost like something from one of her mother's story books. Crying didn't really help, but it was the only thing that she could do. She felt sick. Her head hurt. She was nowhere near her warren, and suits only knew what had actually happened to her when she was knocked out. She had a faint feeling that it had to do with how horrible she was starting to feel. Maybe this was just a bad dream? Maybe if she just sat here long enough she would wake up and find herself back in her comfy bedroom?

Wulfram jerks awake suddenly. His brow furrows into tightly knit concern upon finding himself laid unceremoniously outside of the palace in the rain. The crow is instantly on the defense, wary of everything. A cursory scan of the surroundings proves that he is alone, the Court oddly quiet, and every time he attempts to enter the Palace he finds himself outside in the accursed rain once more. Further searching does reveal a window through which he can call out to a group in the library but they are unable to do anything more than confirm what Wulfram already knows. He leaves them to their plight in the library and continues his search of the grounds. The crow is making his way back toward the palace gates when a scream catches his attention. At last! A hint that he wasn't alone out here! He sprints toward the sound and arrives on the scene in time to watch a pale figure in the distance break down into what he assumed was tears. His approach is slow at first, cautious in case her attacker might still be nearby, but slowly caution turns to horror and then to intrigue. No suit. No rank. Long ears? ...Could this sobbing mess of Selkie fur but a fabled rabbit? Could this be the reason for the madness at the Court or a bystander caught in the mess? Either way, it's an amazing find; if his eyes aren't playing tricks on him, that is. He waits until he creeps closer to call out to the creature, ensuring that he can catch it with his Spade sprinting should it attempt to run. "You zhere! Vat are you doing at ze Court auf Spades?"Tulgey Weird: He is a master of the sharp tongue, even those who are confident in their rank, abilities, lineage, or what have you will begin to feel the effects of his talking down to them. It's rumored that he could even make Queens feel five inches tall...

The voice pierced through the rain and tears like a knife. Her eyes widened as she froze. Oh no. No no no! This was bad. This was awful. She slowly looked up to see the pale white figure.
A giant bird. A giant and utterly terrifying bird that made her feel like a speck of very terrified dust.
She slowly came to a stand. It was obvious to her now that she wasn't "right." What had that monster done to her? Was she...? Was that even possible?
The quite clearly pregnant Doe was in no condition to run. Fleur looked up at the Queen with wide terrified eyes. "Please.... please don't..." were the only things that came out of her mouth.
She was going to die. She was going to die because she hadn't been a "proper Doe" and hadn't listened to what her family had to say. She was never going to see Shelby, or Mom or Dad or anyone ever again.

Wulfram anticipated the Rabbit to run, anticipated having to tackle it and restrain it before it did something terrible. Instead, it turned to him and pleaded with him. It was a She it would turn out and a very pretty she, despite being a monster. However, judging by her physical and mental state, she most certainly couldn't be the monster that created this Strangeness.
He steps closer, examining her without touching her. "I von't hurt you, I just have some questions." He leans down, momentarily using his large wings to shield her from the rain. Such a gentleman when he wanted something. "First, your name. Secondly, vhy are you here and are you injured?" She was most definitely pregnant. Had something been chasing her?
The crow leans back slightly, scanning the area. Nothing? Or... was that a vaguely card-shaped lump in the distance? Perhaps. He'd deal with that in a moment. The rabbit was more important right now.

The Doe cringed when the bird came closer. She expected him to reach out and strangle her, instead his wing came up to shield her from the rain.
She looked up at him. Blinking. He was still utterly terrifying, but the small act was enough to prevent her from bursting into tears again. For now anyway. She wasn't particularly sure how long she could stay brave when she was in a strange place and cards were questioning her.
"I... my name is Fleur. And I don't think I'm hurt... but something...." she sniffed as she looked down at her stomach. It was impossible. She was supposed to be a virgin. She was supposed to be traded off to her first Jack soon. How could she be pregnant? And wasn't it supposed to take a while to show? "I was attacked. And when I woke up I was suddenly here. A-and I don't feel well at all. I-I'm not supposed to be like this. I can't be like this. I'm a virgin!"
She was also talking to a Card. Impossible seemed to be a new trend.

She really was a pretty thing up close, if one disregarded what she was and her current state of pregnancy. The fear and such were terribly pretty as they flitted through her eyes and, dry, she would've been nice on display.
Her little bout of hysterics, however, distracted him from his observations. Couldn't be pregnant because she was a virgin? He'd never met a Rabbit to compare her to another but he assumed her ramblings were proof she was terribly confused, possibly insane, but still valuable. He'd humor her for now, she was most definitely worth it.
"Fleur? My name ist Wulfram. If that is thee case than somethink is seriously wrong. You'll need emergency care. Ve need to get you out of the rain und to e doctor." Nowhere to go in the Court, at least he didn't think so. Couldn't possibly make it to the City from where with a pregnant woman, let alone a pregnant monstrosity. "Can you walk?"
His gaze trailed back to the person-like lump. Mostly dark colors, a potential hint of green? A Corvie, then? Maybe even Malachior? That would be great luck, the man was a more talented medic than his love of poison might suggest.

Fleur was actually quite sane. She had been a virgin until rather recently.
She looked at the bird. Wulfram? That sounded like a very normal name for someone. Maybe Cards weren't horrible monsters? She still had her doubts. She felt like he could crush her any moment, and this... thing. She didn't feel well at all. Was she getting bigger?
At the question her brow furrowed. Could she walk? She hadn't actually tried. "Y-yes I think I can. It's just a little awkward."
When she moved it would be a strange hop and shuffle. And she would wince slightly at the movement. She really was pregnant. There was no possible way she couldn't be. Which meant that that monster that had appeared must have... but that was...?
Was this all really happening to her? And what about Shelby? Where was he? And where was the Court of Spades? What... exactly was the Court of Spades? "W-where are we?" she asked quietly. "What region I mean. I was in Avington with my brother."

Zeki woke on an uncomfortable bed of rock, staring at wrought-iron gates some ten feet away. He blinked rapidly, trying to rid his eyes of bleariness. Dad must have done some really bad redecorating, he thought, and turned over. There wasn't room in the house for that sort of thing. Apparently Dad had to take out the roof to do it, because in addition to being uncomfortable, he was also drenched and cold. A second later he decided he really didn't like this new design plan. A feeling of deep discomfort gripped him. He sat up, abruptly, and all his sleepy confusion dissolved into dread. He knew where he was. He wasn't in Corvistowne at all. This was the Court of Spades, and he had no idea how he got there, and suddenly the only thought filling his brain was that he needed to leave, and immediately. He got to his feet and shoved a wet lock of hair out of his eyes. Evidently he wasn't the only one to end up here. He could see two white shapes in the rain, one much taller than the other. His initial instinct was to feel concerned--they were probably as lost as he was--but for the first time in as long as he could remember, the desire to lend a hand to them did not occur to him. That would mean staying. He turned his back to the gates and started walking briskly away. To where, he wasn't certain. His terrible sense of doom finally connected with a concrete object in his mind. Virtute?

Avington? The Rabbit was a long way from home and, if it wasn't his imagination, she seemed to be growing.. larger. Wulfram knew nothing of pregnancy in the medical sense, but in the way of general knowledge he could easily assume that this was wrong in many ways.
"You're e long way from home. This ist the Court of Spades, located between The Yarrow Gardens und Corvistowne." Speaking of.
At that exact moment the figure that Wulfram had been watching stood up and briskly began to walk in the opposite direction. Blast it. From here he could clearly see the green markings though the silhouette was most definitely did not belong to Malachior. He swore beneath his breath before turning to the Rabbit. "Stay here. I vill be right back."
If she moved he would hunt her down as well. But the Corvie was of more immediate importance. He needed someone to assist in the delivery of this child that was not him. A burst of Spade speed easily closed the distance before the crow called out. "You! Ze Court of Spades requires your service!" If the official nature of the demand did not get the Corvie's attention, than his Tulgey nature would. And, where that failed, bribery usually sufficed. "You vill be paid handsomely for your services."
