His Majesty was in a very foul mood. Though nothing was going 'wrong', per say, for the mouse felt as if he was about to explode from anger and tension. What little tolerance and patience he had left was close to breaking. The realization of his foul mood had occurred to the mouse after he had snapped at three different servants over a tediously simple task, which had only resulted in the mouse becoming more annoyed. Now he was out storming the hallways, trying to figure out what it was that had him in such a foul mood. He was usually exceedingly good at keeping his temper under control with only a few outbursts happening on the rare occasion - his pregnancy being excluded. The Court was doing well, his family was fine, Mari was coming along nicely though the doctor assigned to her had increased her appointments though he said it was nothing to worry about. So what was it? Resisting the urge to punch his fist into the wall he gave a low growl. If only he could figure it out.

Anatolius made his way down the hall with a casual bounce in his step that betrayed the far more serious glint that lingered in the depths of his eye. The canine was on a mission to find His Queen and nothing would interrupt him. The grape vine had been leaking little murmurs of the Morganberry's foul mood this afternoon and Toli fully intended to find him and take his mind off of whatever it was that was troubling him. What good was he as Ader's King if he wasn't being useful? After peeking through a few key places that he knew his Queen tended to frequent, Anatolius had finally caught up with the mouse and he let out a warm call upon seeing him. "Yo! Ader!" Quickly he picked up his pace and made his way to the Queen of Club's side, brushing his tail lightly against his leg for a brief moment. "Exactly the Card I was hoping to run into!"

Running a hand through his hair in agitation before rubbing at his temples he stilled when he heard the familiar voice. First instinct was to send the male away but he owed the canine more than that . . . at least to hear him out first before sending him away.
Plastering a smile he definitely did not feel, he turned to face the fellow Morganberry. "Ah, Tolius, wot is it that I can do for you?" He asked, raising a hand in greeting.
Hopefully it would be something simple that could be answered or taken care of. All he really wanted was to be left alone, though that was probably not a good idea either. The need to burn something was raising high - and it was definitely not a good idea to be around people you did not want suddenly going up in flames - then again not being around anyone who could change his mood would definitely bring that about.

Instantly the canine could see the tension singing through Ader's features, displaying itself in a dozen little quirks from his posture to the movement of his hands. The grape vine had, surprisingly, been rather accurate in it's rumors but Toli wasn't at all pleased with this knowledge.
What in the Suits could have Ader so agitated?
"The question is not so much what you can do for me, Your Majesty, but what I can do for you?" He smiled warmly, tail giving a cheerful thump as he spoke. "You seem quite... tense... for a lack of better words, and it only seems right that I do my part to help."
If Aderlass needed something to light on fire then he had definitely run into the right person. Toli was always more than happy to play with fire, and this was especially true when he also got to have some fun with Ader.

The mouse gave an unfelt quick smile to the canine in response. Murmuring more to himself than to the canine, "Something bothers me, but for the Crown I can not think of wot." He ran a frustrated hand through his hair, pulling on it gently.
Narrowing his eyes at the King, in thought more than anything else, he considered the possibilities Tolius presented being here. He had known the Morganberry for quite a few years now, though only recently had the male joined their ranks - something that did please the Queen greatly. Maybe Tolius would be just what he needed.
"You have been one of my Kings for a while now, have you not?" He pondered aloud. It had not been too long but surely it had been some good length of time. "Yet it only occurs to me know that I do not know your full powers."
Oh, he knew that the canine was qualified for the job. He was more interested in what the canine could do with his powers and the new ones he had gained with such a quick ranking.

Anatolius watched the mouse intently, following the movements of his frustration. To be bothered by something was one thing, but to not know what? That would only add to his current faceless frustration. Toli could understand his displeasure.
Typically Toli would've offered him a detour to the bedroom for a little stress relief, but something in Ader's eyes made him hold back this time. Was he plotting something? The canine's head gave an adorable little tilt to the side, curiosity lighting briefly in the back of his eye. Not once did it occur to him that he'd displeased Ader, though, so no hint of worry accompanied that light curiosity.
"Aye, Your Majesty, I have." The canine's expression was quickly overtaken by a grin, his chest puffing up ever so slightly with pride and joy. He'd never had something like this before, something to be so proud of... The next question both caught him off guard and intrigued him. "Well then, I would have to suggest I give you a demonstration... Yes?" It was true. Toli had been there for a good while now...and hadn't yet gotten to show his sire just what the rank had given him. It was almost a pity, really, especially after all of the fun they'd had with pushing his abilities to where they currently stood.

He tilted his head to the side - almost as if he was copying the bird-like action - as he contemplated it. It would definitely be something to see what the canine had hidden.
"Yes. That would work out nicely" he stated before heading down the hall. With a wave of his hand he motioned for the King to follow. "Lets see what you can do." He looked over his shoulder, his smile much more real than before.
Reaching the field where he had fought the previous Queen years before he came to a stop.
"How about little demonstration . . . Though for it to be a true demonstration of skill and power you need to fight against someone, yes?" He paused for a moment, as if in thought. Turning to the canine he gave one of his mischievous smiles, becoming a little more like himself at the prospect of a good fight - with fire no less. "How about you take the other side and we can begin?"

Where some might have shrank at the prospect of what was to come, being evaluated before your superior, Anatolius was absolutely beaming. His tail wagged vehemently behind him as he walked and his step carried its usual cheerful bounce. What was to worry about, after all? He was doing his job, distracting Ader from his current stress, and looking forward to the prospect of putting on a brilliant fire display for The Queen.
Upon arriving at the field, the canine grinned as Ader explained just exactly what he meant by 'demonstration'. Well, that... wasn't entirely expected but not at all unappealing either. "I think you'd have to be correct in that." He chuckled warmly, bounding to the spot directed. "Not to mention a lovely form of stress relief." Aside from sex, of course.
Anatolius gave himself a brief shake, switching his focus from 'play' mode to 'spar' mode and, like a flint striking a stone, the action quickly triggered a flickering of fire through his brilliant orange and red coat. Some of these little tricks Ader would already know, but it was true... Ader didn't know nearly half of the new tricks Toli had learned since Acheron had vanished and the canine's time had become more and more devoted to his determination to become Ader's King.

The mouse gave a pleased smile when he saw the canine's first move. He watched the fire play along the canine's fur, admiring the effect. "Always a lovely trick." He complimented with a nod of his head. He gave a small shiver of his own before shifting to his bipedal form, not so much to even the battle or make it easier to call forth the magic, but just to see the beauty of their Morganberry colors as they sparred. After he had shifted form, the bipedal mouse gave an amused grin feeling better already. Closing his eyes for a moment, knowing that the canine would not attack during the moment of weakness, he allowed his Jack ability to flow over his body. His hands started to glow that unnatural white glow that he had been born with - though it was his whole body that was now hot enough it would burn any touch. The fun was about to begin.

Anatolius's tail lashed from side to side, his eyes sparkling with excitement as his adrenaline began to pump. He had sparred with Ader in the past, but not with a vast majority of his new abilities and never when the Queen appeared to be in such a mood. This was going to be a considerable, but enjoyable, challenge.
Once Ader had shifted forms, Anatolius broke into a wide and rather wolfish grin. "Ready or not!" He chimed cheerfully and abruptly shot forward.
The canine feinted right as his fur burst into a dazzling array of fire. This time, however, the flame was far from a pretty illusion and, while it alone would not burn An's fellow Club, the heat was still there. This certainly wouldn't be news to Ader, since Toli had discussed his work with his fire with the other male on many occasions, but it would be the first time that Ader got to witness it.
It wouldn't be until the last second that Anatolius would pull out of his feint, aiming to prompt the mouse into action before being forced to actually knock fists with the fiery queen.
