Goodness... were they really talking about this? It was quite exciting really.. even more exciting to actually imagine her as a Doe. She was already quite pretty.. and he'd never heard of a situation where ranking up to Doeship did anything negative to appearance. Valeny had been... quite androgynous looking to him, though that mane would have been shamefully wasted on a male... and it only made her mane more glorious, and her physique seem so much more feminine when she transformed. The thought of her made his throat tighten a bit.
"Yes. The life of a leveret just doesn't suit certain rabbits; I agree. I had a Doe sister so I know all too well how it feels to not measure up to your siblings." He plodded in after her, ever careful not to trod on her heels. He knew all too well the damage he could cause with his claws.

She could hardly believe they were talking about this herself. Though she supposed, it was the worst conversation her father could walk in on. Even if any of the other rabbits in the Warren overheard they wouldn't be overly surprised. Since the day she was born her Father had been instilling in her that she must rank up. To be of any worth at all in the world, she needed to become a doe.
The leveret shook this thought visibly from her mind. She wanted to be a Doe, there was no use trying to blame her mentality on anyone else. Quietly she nodded to Aleah as she hurried around the kitchen preparing his drink. A bit of green on the counter caught her attention and she plucked a clover from it's midst to float on the top before handing it to him.
"I'm sorry if I've overstepped the conversation a little." She smiled apologetically at him.

Taking a seat, he watched the fellow leveret work in the kitchen, doing her duty rather fitfully as she prepared his drink with practiced ease. She was dutiful and willing as a leveret; perhaps those honorable traits would carry over as a Doe as well.
"Not at all." Aleah assured her, glancing down into his cup at the delicate little clover that floated there. He smiled, more at some private thought than actually at her, bringing the drink up to his lips to give a long, appreciative gulp. "You have quite an eye for detail."
His claws tapped lightly on the sides of the mug, as if contemplating something on his mind. This whole flirting thing was quite new, especially when one was actually being receptive. "If it counts for anything..." Aleah began, finishing off the last of the drink before setting it back down on the counter. "I think that you'll become an amazing Doe."

Dafina smiled again when he reassured her, and then smiled when he looked at the clover. She did like to make others happy, perhaps she tried a little too hard sometimes, but it was just who she was. The compliment caught her a little off-guard and she dipped her head a little shyly before looking back up.
"Thank you Aleah. I find doing something a little. . special, can make even mundane tasks a little more fun." She quirked a smile and sat down, watching him enjoy his drink.
Her eyes began to roam the kitchen, marking things that needed to be cleaned or put away, to avoid demanding the silence be broken. Her eyes wandered back however when he spoke and she blinked rapidly at the end of his sentence. She wasn't entirely sure how to respond to such a high praise. For a moment she sat before responding quietly.
"That's a very kind thing to say. May you become a Jack as so wish yourself."
