Things to do. <3

This is, sadly, a very busy week for me.
I'm working on a webdesign project for a client of my Dad's and work itself is very tiring, as well as a few other things to get ready for spring (hallo, helping Mom clean...)
This aside:

I've gotten a few pokes from people saying that there's nothing to do now, so let's see if these ideas don't help anyone.

1. The few Selkies left on the board might want to do a meet up with one another, either as a support group, or in order to see if they can't procure some type of Court protection from the Corvies.
Quite a few of the still-living Selkie NPCs have all but vanished due to Corvie stalking and body-theft.
It's been...unfortunate to say the least. Even Captain Faith of the Police squad was laid out flat when she and a small band of coppers tried to take on a gang of Corvies. She's still recovering in Avington.
Also, Shift (see Satra) needs a PC Selkie who needs some trauma to experiment on, please.

2. The Courts of Spades, Hearts, and Diamonds, really ought to convene and elect new staff; Court members; and meet each other to discuss what the ever-loving hell went on.

3. Lowlanders need to meet p with one another. A good many of the remaining NPCs have died as Josiggy ring-squads have been slowly, and selectively sneaking into survivor's homes to wipe them out completely. Poor Mirung's already lost little Dan from the Capital to them.
His little sister is such a wreck...
Victor has a good little protection ring going on (see Satra), maybe he could help you. Osias is another good bet, as is Morpheus...(see Kitty) though the other two should only be contacted if you have "payment" ready.

4. The Capital itself is a wreck and your characters were and are likely to still see odd remains stuffed places...in the far nooks or attics of shoppes! Even a simple outing could turn into finding a Lowland corpse discarded under that garbage! Iiiieee!

5. Any Cards that run businesses are going to have to find a way to make up for lost revenue...the Lakes are gone. What will they do?
Is anyone brave enough to venture out to these forsaken lands?

If anyone is interested, Dania is trying to organize various Torquehelms (NPCs, plus any PCs you want to involve) into offering temporary shelter and rehabilitation in their homes for survivors of the various disasters, children who are now orphans, etc.

Still trying to make dad proud, poor girl, she's hoping her new rank will give her some clout with the locals. In her house so far is Faust recovering from his injuries, 1-2 more can stay in her brothers' room. (Oh, the potential for drama!)

Nothing to do now? xD There's as much to do now as there ever was. Some peeps got seriously spoiled by the epicness of the contest. Hehe.

But yuss, many of the Courts are in utter shambles and the Capital has a war in the streets to recover from, much less the havoc wreaked on the general trade of goods with the downfall (still progressing! potentially in your threads) of the Selkie Lakes. And plenty of people must have mixed feelings about the Lowlands.

A support group for Selkies is an awesome idea, especially with so much interest now being paid to their realm from... various parties. Makes me wish I had someone in that area of things to participate.

Oh yes, Osias would totally be down for some protective measures if you had some payment ready, he's itching to kick some ass. As would Mo, only he might be a little more likely to be persuaded, versus bribed. Hehe ...

Nova would like to suggest maybe a meeting between all the courts, with some representatives to meet and discuss some things. What better time to wipe out any disputes between the suits then now he says. So if you court peoples are willing, lemme know.

Hopefully the busy doesn't eat you too hard Nat, make sure to get some rest and relaxation when you can <3

I'm agreeing with Jenn. XD We can't have epic board wide plots ALL the time! And the event has led us with more direction to go than ever!

The only part Selkie I own is Geronimo, and he would rather die than let him or his sister be taken by a Corvie. I can't speak for Shoshanna, but Ger wouldn't really care much about other Selkies. He just cares about himself and his sister.

Though I WANT Jeremiah to help, he doesn't really feel liking putting someone up for more than a couple of nights. Unless he was REALLY persuaded into it. Hehe.

Diamond Courts - A long time ago I wanted Lariel to join the Diamond Court as A Jack, in the intelligence/spy division or whatever. A sub branch of the guard I suppose. After all of this I suppose now would be a good time to talk to someone about getting her a Jack Quest! Who would that be?

I... at risk of offending those who say there is nothing to do now: I have to say I'm scrambling to make the TIME to fit in all the stuff I want to do on the board now.

These are all excellent ideas and would love people to RP with instead of writing out fics.

Anyone want to RP with me Shift collecting up the dying Selkies for drug profit? Hell, anyone with a healthy Selkie want to RP Shift harassing your character? Hell, anyone with a cop character want to RP out Shift getting caught in the act? I mean, shit. All of the above could potentially fit in one thread!

After much thinking, Victor has finally decided to join the police force (it was between that and applying for a job at the water control district. I'm SURE those people are in desperate need of Spades right now. Hintahint). He's also very willing to teach other Lowlanders defensive magic.
Hell, anyone want to RP a Lowlander trying to make a support group, only to have some Josiggies show up and muck things up?
OR! Ms. Lovett's dead, right? I would venture to say, she was probably a very well-known member of the community. I know Victor will be putting a flower on the front step of her shop. Anyone want to meet up there?

And, yes. Courts. Now's a great time for those titles to actually MEAN something! Other Titled people: Let's do this thing.
