The card was assuming a lot in what he said, but Aleah kept his expression most cordial. Generally when a Jack made that kind of comment, it was a prelude to swindling more out of the other Jack in the trade. He was relieved that it would not be the case. "Well, if she wished to become a Doe, you would not see me complaining." He chuckled, casting a wink over at Myth's direction before focusing once more on the Card.
"Well, that certainly pleases me to hear that. And now… I certainly do hate to part so quickly, but we must be going. I have an appointment to make, and working under the veil of darkness to get out of here would be most beneficial."
He turned to Myth now. It was really strange, seeing her like this. A rabbit standing amongst cards. When he'd seen her last, they'd very much been near the same height. Now he towered her over. How fragile, she looked. A part of him rather hoped she'd want to become a Doe. Perhaps if he treated her tenderly enough, she'd be as flattered as Alicia had been. But still, he couldn't push her too terribly. The last thing he wanted was another Doe as cold and unloving as Valeny in the warren. His heart, and his pride, couldn't handle it. In those thoughts, his blue eyes looked somewhat tired, though that wan smile stayed on his face in a tired mask that was more reminiscent of his leveret past. It was brief however, before his ears perked and he grinned widely down at the tiny leveret. "Well then, my ironically named little Dear, is there anything that you need to pack for our trip?" Ironically named, indeed. Especially for a rabbit living amongst the very creatures who thought them to be myths.

Mythiril tried to just go about her tea as they spoke of the particulars, even helping herself a lemon square. It was the smallest of the lemon squares on the tray, and she nibbled it delicately. She froze, though, as Sabe said such things...he should never saw such things. She had tried to teach him better about Rabbits, but she'd never really...she'd never thought he'd meet a Jack! Swallowing her current bite of lemon square carefully, she looked up at Aleah. She finally let herself breathe again when he didn't look angry.
She still didn't want to see a fight, here. It would be messy and it would attract far too much attention. But she had to blush and look away at the insinuation. Her, become a Doe? She couldn't even think about it, right then. Did she have such worth? Was she like her Mother? She tried to be the perfect servant and do her duty, but she knew she failed, sometimes. A Doe could not afford to fail. A Doe had to be perfect. She rubbed the bone on her wrists subconsciously, and she wasn't even looking up at Aleah as his eyes held such a vulnerable expression.
It was no business of Myth's to see such a thing, anyway. She looked up in time to catch his grin, and hesitantly returned it. This was it. This was it! She was finally going back where she belonged, away from the world of Cards. It had been strange and not at all like she'd dreamed.
"No," she replied, for she owned nothing to speak of, even now. Leverets didn't own property. They were allowed to use that of their Jack by his grace. She would not say goodbye to Sabe when she left. It wasn't the way of things. Though she'd throw him one last look, blue eyes intent, trying to speak without words.

Aleah and his new leveret would be far away by the time Sabe finally went to sleep, spirited away by a wagon rented for the occasion. Layla's inexperience with horses made the ride... interesting enough, but they made their escape nonetheless.
That night... the item would finally take effect:
That night, this rabbit will come to life, scurrying with desperation to reach the one it was gifted to. It will latch itself onto a part of his body and manically burrow. The pain will no doubt wake the Card up but no amount of swatting, magic or scratching will stop it before it has sunk itself deep into its flesh. The wound heals over immediately and he is suddenly aware of a new power. Once a week, after whispering the word Delicate, this card can appear to shift its form in the eyes of any one Card ranked 10 or lower for a full ten minutes. He appears to become a teeth-gnashing, crazed…. mythological version of a Rabbit. This is horrifying to anyone who sees him and is unable to attack for the full ten minutes that the image manifests. Their screams and pointing will do little since no one else will see the caster for what he has become in the person's mind, save for the victim. Curse: Oh, dear. It would appear that this object had a little curse hiding in it as well. As soon as his power was recognized, a curse set in. He is not aware of it and probably never will be. But from this point on, he is completely unable to distinguish a Rabbit from a Card. A Suit superimposes itself on the Leveret, Doe, or Jack's chest and is entirely random, though Jacks are always either Kings or Queens. Their realm will be whatever they are naturally, but they appear to be little more than a strange mix between a goat and some sort of vermin. Wow. This suddenly makes him one of the safest of Cards for a rabbit to trade with… and he'd never know it!

[[WOW what a wonderful delictable ITEM!!! I love you Nako!!! So worth kidnapping Myth for all this, XD... You where right and it exited me so much that I typed over a thousand words, XD thanks sooo much!!! Much <luffs> and <hugs>!!!]]
Sabe had bid them a farewell and quickly fetched the recipe for the Jack before him. He had known that it would be a nice parting gift for the Jack that had gifted him so well. He would also give Myth a nod of approval for her to return back to the world of rabbits and not that of cards. Afterwards he made sure there escape well enough that he called the guards away and sent them to check on something that he had thought that he had heard towards the back of the garden from where he could see from his window as Aleah and Myth slipped away. Their escape was guaranteed, and the Jack wouldn't ever know about it. That was something that Myth had told him about, never leave a Jack that you consider somewhat of a equal to be left indebted to you.
Once they were gone he looked about the room. The smell of the Lev was still strong in the air and it left him somewhat depressed and lonely... it was nice having someone to talk to each night, who had such a interesting history and new views on things that he wouldn't ever have seen before. He had gave the Lev anything that she requested... though that wasn't very often. He could count on one hand how many times she had asked for something. Though he always made sure that she ate as good as he and with himself... now that was hard in the beginning when she was completely docile to him. She had opened up towards the end of the year and even ate with him from time to time.
He gave a mighty yawn and left the chair that he was sitting in making sure to grab the Object that Aleah had told him to do. He placed it by the lamp and turned it down so that there was a barest of glimmer in the room and laid down in hsi been quickly falling asleep due to the stress and all the excitement of the night. He rolled over and looked at the leveret like creature and feel silently to sleep.
He was having the greatest of dreams then he started to hear something scratching about... he wondered why there was scratching sounds in the middle of flight. That was when he was attacked by something. He felt something hard hit his arm and start to claw into it, burrowing into his skin. He tried to grab it but the blood made it slippery. He screamed out as it burrowed into his flesh and he cursed the name of Aleah aloud. He wasn't even aware of the sounds of hoofs and claws scratching down the hallway. The guards where here and he didn't even see them.
The sheets were covered in his blood and feathers and blood, the room was filled with the heavily breathing of the guards about him and all he could do was sit up in his bed, his wings shaking from the pain... and then... just as it had started it had healed... He looked about and removed his hand from his forearm.
The shock upon his face made the guards ask more questions. "Who did this" "Where are they" "Are you ok your majesty?" "Please give us a command" "Your..."
He raised his hand quickly to silence them, and they obeyed.
He raised his face to the others about him and glared at them, but his voice was cool and controlled with much command and authority. "I have told the Captian of the Guard that I have no need for anyone to come into my room no matter what you hear or see." he said as he removed himself from the bed and gave a breath of relief as the smell of his blood in the air masked the lev perfectly. "Being as you care enough to come at risk of getting into trouble, I'll tell you now to search the grounds to find this so person that has attacked me." he said as he looked to the bed. "Leave now... send a maid to come and replace my sheets and clean this place up. I'll be out looking for the attacker as well." he said as he moved to the window grabbing his cane and the cloth that the small object was wrapped in.
He leaped into the air and flew a bit and gave a smile of pleasure as the new spell burned itself into memory. What a wonderful ability that the Jack had gave him. Oh how he could use this to sway many an attacker from himself or someone that wanted to attempt something upon his life or others. This was truely a great gift for Myth... but she will always be missed that little seven of clubs. He wondered again why she had lived in his room... he guessed it was because he enjoyed the secret court that she had been apart of. How wonderful it was to know such powerful allies as them... a whole court hidden from the eyes of all and yet apart of everything about them. How well they blended in.
His memories re-wrapped themselves to fit the idea of Myth being this goat like creature that was a seven of clubs that lived in his room. He knew that he had saved her and knew that she was in trouble... but she was just a small servent to a organization that he couldn't quite recall as his own! They were just a hidden Court. How great... and from that moment on as he flew through the air he would always think of them as the Hidden Court. And Aleah was a Queen of Spades from that said court to retrieve Myth in fear of a great leak of information. This way he would just appear to be crazy if he said anything about it. And being in power made him very vulnerable for such delicate information.
He wondered how he could contact them... ... ...
