Ez had half a mind to lecture the girl. He honestly would have loved to do it right there and right now. However the other woman apparently wanted them to walk and talk. Hell if he was leaving Cecilia alone now. Savior or not, he was going to play the third wheel to prevent anything from happening.
The sparrow gave a frustrated sigh, "Ceci....lia. It's just. You know, obviously a bit dangerous if you need saving but--I shouldn't lecture you while we're in the middle of an alley." He shook his head.
"My apartment is probably closer than yours Cecilia. Would the pair of you like to come over for tea or something before we part ways? I guess it could sort of be a Thank you for helping Cecilia." Talking to two people at once and not sounding like his dad was weird. The ten choked back whatever frustrations he had. Thank you diamond charm for covering everything up.

Cecilia frowned as she watched Ez, wishing she could block out the concern and frustration he displayed. To think he cared bothered her more than him not caring. Over the years she had learned to live without concern, to live as the item she was meant to be...but then she would run into those rare few people.
People like Ez. People that cared and worried about her situation on the street.
"I'll be alright, Ez... I always am."
Promptly she buried her head against Heilyn's chest, attempting to block out that horrid odor as she cuddled into her fur. It took only a second to regain her composure and once she had she leaned back and peered between Ez and Heilyn. Yes, getting out of the alley would be good...less chances of Drevden returning with reinforcements.
As they walked, however, Cecilia shifted and managed to slide her body between Ez and Heilyn. "Mm, I agree... Tea sounds nice and Ez does live closer and..." Her shoulders slumped for a moment. "I don't want to be alone tonight."

Right after she spoke to her concerned friend, the doe buried her face into Heilyn's chest again. She pet the girl's head softly again, smirking to herself enjoying the touch. Gotta enjoy what you can, right? He lived closer? Alright, that was fine by her. Tea? Even better. That damned Highlander parakeet had gotten her hooked on the stuff, how could she refuse? She turned her attention back to Cecilia when she shifted and spoke. Heilyn nodded.
"Sounds reasonable," she said, noting the slump the girl made. Heilyn took a sadistic pleasure of being in complete control of the situation. She girl was terrified, weakened by the encounter, she could manipulate her into just about anything...
But that could wait. Other than sex, Heilyn had no idea what the girl had to offer. Though she hadn't had it in a while, she could wait on sex. Besides, when she achieved her human form, it should be easy enough to obtain. She had already reached bipedal, how much longer could it be...?
She kept her ears and chin up up. "Alrighty, then, you're in the lead, Ez," she said in a chipper tone with a wag of her tail to lift spirits of the somewhat depressing situation. She put a hand on the little tool Cecilia's shoulder as encouragement.

Ez remained silent for the walk to his apartment. He didn't want to say anything stupid on their way there. Bothered was a bit of an understatement, but he choked down all of his emotions as he unlocked the door to his apartment.
The living room was neatly arranged, things were in their proper places. His couch had been replaced with rather plush looking sofa until he figured out how the clean it properly. As fun as that night had been that poor couch and been damaged something awful. There was no way he would let people sit on it, that's why he had shoved it in some corner of the apartment that no one ventured to.
He shut the door behind the two women and pointed to the sofa and chair not to far away from it. "Make yourselves comfortable while I put the tea on." He hastily locked the door like he usually did and made his way to the kitchen.

Cecilia wasn't sure how to act about the evening. Keeping Heilyn around might not have been a good idea, considering the protective vibe Ez had taken. She had been friends with the Lakelander for longer than she could remember and, surprisingly, she didn't want to hurt him with her actions. Yet each flicker of concern and doubt was met with a contradicting tone of scorn.
Why was she letting Ez make her feel bad? She should just go on with her life. It had been this way since she was a child and it would be that way until she died, she was nothing more than an object of pleasure. Yet, there was a spark of something more there as well. It showed itself at odd times, such as the rape she had just avoided, but extinguished just as quickly. There was no telling when she'd ever find herself something more in life.
Once entering the apartment, Cecilia was quick to move to the sofa and sit. All along the walk she'd been hiding the remainder of the tremors in her legs and she wasn't about to risk getting caught now. She could only hope that some tea would soothe her nerves.
With that in mind, she turned those seductive purple orbs on Heilyn and patted the sofa. Cecilia had taken the position closest to the chair, so she could be near Ez, and left plenty of room for Heilyn to join her there on the couch.

Heilyn picked up on the vibe Ez was giving off, and decided it best not to attempt to make conversation until they got to their destination. It was good that he cared for the girl, Heilyn just hoped that the lectures wouldn't start until she left. She watched as he locked the door and went to go make tea. She was impressed at his control over himself. She took note of this incase there was further interaction with this boy.
And, oh~ how inviting that little doe was. Heilyn say right next to her, but not too close. She didn't want to give off the implications that sitting too far or too close would've made. No. She gave off only ambiguities. Too far away would make the doe feel unwanted, and would make her distant to Heilyn; too close, and she would lock her intentions. Confusion often lead people to reveal things about themselves they originally hadn't intended.
"You're still shaking a little," she noted out loud, "You sure you'll be ok?"

Ez walked back in with his several tea cups on a tray and a few biscuits. Entertaining guests was his thing so he usually had everything ready. He had missed the question asked by Heilyn, and didn't say a word until he handed them their cups and sat down on the chair.
Interesting. Two women in his apartment drinking tea. This had never actually happened before.
He stared blankly at the pair of them. He wasn't entirely sure what to say. As good as he was at entertaining guests, one was a complete stranger and the other was a childhood friend that worked as a whore. He wanted to tell her how he felt, but.... random stranger in the room wasn't helping.
"Cecilia, do you want to spend the night here? I can't imagine you're all right after whatever exactly happened if you needed saving." The sparrow looked over his tea cup as he took a sip.

Heilyn definitely did a good job at putting Cecilia slightly off balance. She looked interested and yet...not. Her posture, her positioning..it was all contradictory. The seductive doe pouted ever so slightly, trying to lure Heilyn just a little closer with the beckoning look in her eyes.
"I'm just a little unsettled, that's all." She shifted slightly, trying to get comfortable even as she tried to figure out what Heilyn was thinking. "I'll be alright."
When Ez returned, Cecilia perked up once more. He was upset with her, yes...but he was still one of her closest friends. One of the few people that she was able to see as more than another 'client'. When the teacups were set out before them, Cecilia claimed her cup and sipped softly at the warm liquid. Ahh, that was so much better.
"I'll be okay, ah...everyone gets a little grabby sometimes." She shifted again, her posture more subdued now that Ez had returned. Why must he radiate so much disappointment? "But I would like to stay, thank you."

"If you say so," she said with no skepticism to Cecilia as Ez came back in.
Good, no lectures started. She took a sniff of the tea. Oh, it was nice. It was a lovely jasmine tea that was pleasantly pungent and relaxing. An excellent choice on the part of the sparrow. ah, the girl was recovering quickly from her fright, but not letting pride get in the way of taking help from a friend. Perhaps she was a little smarter than Heilyn had made her out to be at first? Ah, how convenient were the hands in bipedal form. She opened the mask while holding her breath, and took a sip. It was a rather large sip, yes, but Heilyn hated having to open and close the stupid thing all the time. Having to deal with it through meals and even having to sleep with it on... it just made her irritable.
"This is very good tea, Ez," she commented when the mask closed, "May I ask what it is?"
