Ez was very tempted to throw the coyote out of his house as soon as Cecilia sat on him. He sighed happily. He really did love Cecilia as a friend. "And you always make me smile," Ez muttered under his breath as turned his attention to the coyote.
"I have a job that usually requires me to be up at some insane hour doing preparations for a party that no one else wants to plan. Nine is actually a late start to a morning, but I have off tomorrow." Well. He arbitrarily decided that he had off tomorrow. He had nothing pressing that needed to be done, so all was well. He could at least see Cecilia off. He didn't trust Heilyn. He would probably never trust her because of calling Cecilia a girl. His friend was not an object. She was very much a person that he loved and cared about. If Heilyn was too stupid to see that he had no reason to be nice.

There was tension.
Tension that Cecilia could feel very clearly and that she could even see in Heilyn's posture but which she had simply chosen very strongly not to acknowledge. Her slender arms wrapped around his shoulders and she laid her head lightly on his chest so she could feel him breath as she sat. Of all the people she spent time with, Ez was the only one who she could lay with in such a manner and feel like...something more than an object.
Typically she didn't complain, regardless of who held her or how they did it, but it truly was nice to have something more from time to time. Ez's affection made her giggle sweetly and she wiggled just a tiny bit closer, if that were at all possible, before lifting her attention to Heilyn.
"Usually I don't even get into bed until sunrise. 9am is ungodly, but an early night with an early morning might be nice." She smiled, meeting Heilyn's masked gaze. "Perhaps we can have breakfast? I really love waffles."

[sorry about the wait, guys. the muse was being... picky... to say the list... it still kind of is... but yeah... ]
An ear twitched. Heilyn failed to see the point the bird was making. Why would she care about what he was doing that day unless it was at all relevant to her. And, considering he wasn't, neither was his schedule. Her concern was getting a connection she could depend on on the streets. She may never use her, but it was good to have one there, just in case. She ignored the bird. The girl was friends with him. Antagonizing him meant antagonizing the girl. Anything she would have to say to him at this point would be condescending, so she did the next best thing in keeping the peace, in ignoring him. However, as soon as she left, he would probably talk the little whore into hating Heilyn, or at the very least avoiding her. It was entirely possible that she'd boffed this already. There were other whores out there. Shame to loose one that had basically fallen in her lap, but Heilyn decided not to continue beating a dead horse.
"I would love to, but it seems I've warn my welcome with your friend. It was good to meet you, Cecilia. Try to stay out of trouble?" she excused herself and left, having nothing else to say to either of them. However, she did still take her tea with her. She'll be damned if she left something free behind.
