"Yeah... enjoying..." She dearly wished to tell the boy to put the beast away, but that would've been rude. That, and this one seemed spectacularly well behave. any other Bander would've lunged at her by now.
Heilyn was a little put off by the change in the doe's demeanor. The presence of the Bander seemed to help trigger it. Heilyn felt it was time to scoot in closer... but that damned Bandersnatch was there.
"I'd love to show you. Perhaps I could stop by tomorrow, since I know you'll be here? Then we'll go take a look. Does that sound good to you?" Her ears had gone back a bit without her really realizing it as she stared at the Bander. They really made her nervous. Even her voice had gone a little flat.

Azzy wasn't particularly sure that she liked Heilyn. If her master and the deer hadn't been around she probably would have bitten the coyote, but that wasn't important to her. Cuddles and food were more her style. After briefly licking Cecilia's hand the bander hopped down from her seat. She paused to look up at the coyote, and walked right past her to her food.
"Wow," Ez said with a bit of a snort, trying his hardest to cover up his smirk. "Azzy never snuffs anyone. You mustn't be good with animals if she won't even stop to rub up against you." It never occurred to the sparrow that it might have something to do with the woman's smell, but then again he had been trying to ignore it this entire time. It was faint unless you were next to her. He briefly wondered if his couch would smell like her once she left.
And Heilyn seemed to be trying to pick Cecilia up while sitting in Ez's living room. Ha, very funny. The sparrow wasn't amused in the slightest and continued to watch the situation over the brim of his teacup.

There was a moment of tension as the Bander stopped to look up at Heilyn. She knew that she may have received no more than a bite, considering the tameness of this Bander and the fact that usually after one bite, Banders run away gagging. Also, she could tolerate pain, but that didn't mean that she enjoyed it. She did her best to keep her energy calm, and being obviously nervous would egg the little monster on.
It left. That split second seeming to take a little longer than it actually did. She grit her teeth, hackles raising just slightly then lowering out of conscious effort. Boy, these two were really testing her patience, weren't they?
"It's just Banders, for whatever reason," she replied, a very slight chill to her voice, "Mome Raths and Toves, the few I've met, really like me."

Cecilia blinked at Heilyn over the Bander's hear, smiling fetchingly. Her coyness had yet to return but Cecilia didn't seem to notice the turn in her demeanor. She was simply relaxed and happy and, inside of Ez's house, safe. It was a rare feeling, but she tended not to question it if she could avoid doing so.
"O! Would you be willing to~? That would be very nice."
A bat of the eye lashes as a small dose of the Cecilia that Heilyn had grown familiar with resurfaced...and then Azzy abruptly abandoned her lap. The doe fell into a sweet but momentary sulk but it didn't last long. Ez's comment made her giggle ever so slightly before the delicate female rose to her hooves.
"Azzy's the only Bander I really like." She cooed out before giggling happily, watching the Bander leave the room. "Most have such sour temperaments I just can't stand them."
Her gaze fell once more upon Ez, the doe toying with one of her many bracelets. If she was staying the night, he wouldn't mind her getting comfortable. Turning gracefully, she took a few steps toward Ez's bedroom before glancing over her shoulder. "Mind if I get more comfortable, Ez? I don't think I'm going out for the remainder of the evening."

Ez snickered. Meriwether was a sociable little Tove, but he highly doubted that even he would bother with the bogdweller. Smells could do a lot of things. He was pretty sure that Azzy wasn't happy by the woman's smell.
He turned to watch Cecilia walk, completely ignoring the other person in the room for a few moments. The sparrow smiled briefly before saying, "Do whatever you want. You're always at home when you're here as far as I'm concerned. And anyway, how could I argue with someone like you?"
With that he turned his attention back to the bog dweller with a very forced cordial smile. Thank you diamond charm for covering up the "forced" bit. The sparrow wasn't about to screw his father over by acting like an idiot to the woman, but he didn't have to be perfect. His brand new sofa was going to smell like her for weeks wasn't it?
"As long as you're here, Heilyn, you don't have to worry about Azzy. She doesn't bite people other than me."

"Of course I'd be willing to," said the heart, sounded friendly, though not really looking forward to spending more time with the girl. She gave a "hmm" of a "laugh" at the girl's comment about banders. She watched the girl head toward a bedroom to "get more comfortable". As much of her personality Heilyn disliked, she was just a lovely thing to look at...
"Thank you, Ez. I will keep that in mind," she could feel her patience wearing thin. She looked over the tin. It was a green tea. Jasmine Snow Tip, it said on the tin. Must be referring to the leaves. She opened the tin to examine them. From what she could tell from the loosely rolled, dried leaf, the leaf had white-ish veins. She dipped the leaf in her cooling cup of tea and watched it expand, seeming to forget Ez's presence for the sake of her experiment. She pulled it out and examined it to find she was correct.
"I do not wish to intrude," she said, but not looking at Ez, "The girl is safe, so I will probably leave soon, just to return tomorrow late morning."

"The girl is named Cecilia and she's my close friend. I suggest you remember that next time you refer to her in such a manner," The sparrow hissed quietly as his eyes narrowed. Cecilia was very dear to him, and in all honesty he would drop whatever he was doing to help her. He didn't like the way the coyote was reacting, if she was his father's customer or not. No one disrespected his loved ones.
He returned his voice to a normal level and tone. "I'm sorry. Just a little snappy because of the incident and all. I didn't mean to go off like that. Anyway, you can stay longer if you like. It's not like I have anything against you." He shook his head. Ez did have something against the woman, but he wasn't about to say anything about it. "If you're going to be here in the morning, please don't come before nine am. My landlord gets annoyed by early risers unless they're going to work and don't have a choice."

Cecilia rather conveniently managed to miss the momentary tension that swept over the room while she was getting 'comfortable'. Comfortable, of course, meaning that she she removed a vast majority of her jewelry and even her tightly bound corset dress in favor of her own silky fur and only a few key pieces that she rarely, if ever, removed: her bindings, her collar, and the two bracelets on each arm.
The collar had long ago become a second binding of sorts but the bracelets were the exact opposite. For anyone that knew her well they would have long ago noted the way she absently ran her fingers over the pristine sapphires when nervous.
"Mmmm! Much better!" Cecilia chimed out as she stepped into the room, stretching her long frame delicately before making her way directly to Ez. Her little cottony tail wagged behind her as she slid into the chair with her friend, laying her head on his shoulder and whispering for a brief moment. "You're always so comfortable, Ez." From where she snuggled with her friend, Cecilia shifted her gaze onto Heiyn once more. At least she seemed less uncomfortable now that the bander was gone.
Ez had said something about morning last she heard and Cecilia honestly didn't want to get up tomorrow until she absolutely had to. On some days it was nice just to have a lazy with a friend.

Heilyn's head snapped away from the tea leaf to Ez. Ohhh if he could only see her eyes. Though he was in the right for speaking up against the bit of disrespect she showed her friend, her pride and her irritation from the night got the better of her. How DARE this little boy snap at her like that! And what do you hope to do about it? she subdued a growl. She looked him up and down, I could snap you like a twig with one arm tied behind my back. Aggression over took her body language, only to be slightly subsided by his apology. She said nothing. She was trying to gain the girl's trust and snag her as a possible connection. Hackles had fully dropped themselves as she spoke.
"I don't generally consider 9 am to be late morning, but I'll keep that in mind." Cecilia returned to the room and sat on Ez's lap.
"I see you're as comfortable as one can be, Cecilia. Good to see."
