Ez's left wing twitched in protest at the statement. He shifted in his seat as he opened his beak, but was cut off by Heilyn's inquiry. Right. Tea. What was it again? Dad had given it to him sometime back, hadn't he?
"It's a Yarrow Garden's blend. I'm afraid I don't know the exact name, it was a gift. I was told that it calmed nerves, but beyond that I haven't the slightest idea what it's called. I can let you have one of the tins if you like it enough." He offered as he took another sip.
The sparrow glanced over to Cecilia. He wasn't sure what to say to her. Why did she... do what she did? She was so much better than that. Once Heilyn left he could talk to her about it, hopefully.
"So... you're from the Bog then, Heilyn?" Ez commented as he tapped on his teacup with his nails. "My dad has an account with one. Glasswares. Very amazing glasswares."
Pretty things Ez could remember.

[Going slightly out of posting order to keep the thread alive <3 ]
"You don't have to give me one. If I could just see a tin so that I might get one of my own..." Father could use a tin of this. It's amazing, she thought, feeling very good right now, despite the fact she was not in a public setting with two people she didn't know.
Heilyn was about to take another go at the tea when Ez said something very peculiar. No, he couldn't... Her ears went up as she looked at him. She paused to blink.
"Theofilus is your father?" she blurted out, in complete disbelief at the coincidence. That was just so... surreal. None of the others sent out would shirk their duties to the courts they were assigned to to be here, in the Capital, trying to undermine the job she was entrusted with.

"Yes..." Ez said with a tilt of his head. "He's very much my Dad. So... that makes you the person he was talking about then? Well, that's just an amazing twist of fate."
The sparrow shrugged. It was a small world, he supposed. That and his father had quite a few clients now a days. It made Ez wonder about what the future would hold. Hopefully he hadn't slept with anyone who would cross his father's path.
"Oh, I guess I'm not what you were expecting. Yeah well. There are seven of us in total, maybe more one day. We're a big family so you may just run into someone else related to us and not know it. There are bigger families, of course, but I don't think any of them are as weird as us," Ez grinned as he took a sip of his tea. "And you can have a tin. I have plenty of it. I can give you some too Cecilia."

Foo... They were talking about business. The original thought of pretty glasswares had definitely caught her attention but the continued conversation could've bored her to tears. Sighing softly, she leaned back into the couch and crossed her legs delicately as she sipped at the lovely Yarrow blend. It really was quite soothing and the lingering tremors and even that familiar burning that usually overwhelmed her in such situations.
For all that she loved her promiscuous work, she was thankful that Ez had once again pulled her back from acting first and thinking later.
Another soft sigh escaped her, this one more relaxed. She was almost tempted to crawl over and slip into his lap to show her gratitude, especially since she imagined he would be more receptive was than the Bog Dweller currently was. "Thank you, Ez, I would love a tin of it."
Cecilia smiled, putting her attention back onto Heilyn. She'd try this again, but if the woman continued to play 'in the middle' then she would risk losing Cecilia's interest. She wasn't like most, who tried harder when put off. No, this little Diva didn't like being ignored and she wasn't about to sit back and pine for attention when she could get it elsewhere.
"So, does that mean you're the crafter of the amazing glassware Ez just mentioned?" She perked her ears and smiled sweetly. "You'll have to show me sometime if you are."

(( OOC: XD; sorry. Going out of order. )) Ez would have said something in reply but he was interrupted in mid thought as he watched a little blue form pad across his carpeted apartment. He had completely forgotten to feed Azzurra her normal dinner meal. She was, of course, a tad upset with him, but company was over. Company that wasn't doing weird things. That meant she could get attention form said company, and that meant she could get fed a little bit extra. Oh the clever use of people to get what she wanted. In a leap and a bound she hopped up on Cecilia's lap. She made a wuffling sort of sound as her stump of a tail wagged. The sparrow had taught her better than that, and he knew better than to bother her while she was picking a target for attention. Attention whores got a little pissed off when you broke their hold over someone. "Sorry about Azzy, I guess she's a little upset about me not feeding her on time. I'll be right back," he said as he stood up to go back to the kitchen and find her food.

The moment Azzy stepped into the room, Cecilia's eyes brightened. She'd always thought those Banders were mildly atrocious and just a tiny bit frightening, but she'd met a few that were just sweethearts. Ez's Azzy, for example, and Seki's Mocha. Mocha, however, was more akin to a mother bear looming over cub with Seki and even Cecilia had been given a forceful headbutt from the defensive ball of fluff. Azzy, on the other hand, had done no such thing and Cecilia was quite taken to her.
Which Azzy knew well. From one attention whore to the next, Cecilia Spoiled the lovely blue bander a fetching shade of Rotten whenever she could.
"Hello Azzy!" She cheerfully scratched Azzy behind the ears, doting quite happily on her.
After a moment, however, her attention rose to Heilyn once more and she smiled sheepishly. Oops, she'd gotten distracted. Ah well, where had they been? Oh yes! Glassware! She really did hope the coyote was the maker, then she could find out more about getting some for herself.

She nodded to the bird.
"Yes, that is quite a coincidence, isn't it? And if you could spare a tin, I'd love one."
The and bored attitude of the doe as soon as attention was taken off her did not escape the coyote's notice. Her upper lip and ear twitched in annoyance. One of the only things she hated more than people who were addicted to attention was catering to those people. She had to consciously stop herself from raising her hackles and leaving. No, no, we're here for a reason, she thought, calming herself. She kept her ears raised, a happy position for a canine.
"Unfortunately, no, I am not. I don't the skill for art as I do for business. I merely spread the location that the wares may be acquired," she didn't bother mentioning that the crafters have to stay at the source of the materials, since anything that wasn't about her didn't seem to interest her. "If you would like to see the pieces, I can... bring you to one of the stores that sells them sometime." she was going to say "point the stores out to you", but Heilyn doubted the doe would like taking the initiative. However, she was pleased that she was shipping to more places and store now, so that Cecilia didn't have to know where she lived.
Heilyn's attention was drawn to the Bander. She twitched and leaned away a little. Every Bander she'd ever met HATED her. She had yet to see a positive reaction to her from a little Snatch... I mean, Bander.

Azzy took this opportunity to lick Cecilia on the face. She was very happy when this one came over. She was nice and gave her lots of love that her master sometimes forgot about. She rubbed her head against the deer's chest briefly before looking at the other person.
She sneezed at the smell that was coming off of the Card. Guh. That was just nasty. She covered her nose with her paw before snugging up next to Cecilia as close as she could. The other Card could pet her, but she would avoid the coyote for now.
Ez walked back into the room setting a bowl near the kitchen before walking back over to his seat. He set two tins on the table with a smile on his beak. He leaned back in his chair, picking up his tea cup and drinking sipping on it again. "You two enjoying Azzy's company?"

Cecilia honestly looked quite young when all that temptress washed off of her and she was just...herself. Eyes bright like amethysts and that sweet smile dancing upon her features. She had temporarily forgotten all about being with a possible 'client' and was instead enjoying the safeness of Ezekiel's house and the warm fluff and affection of Azzy in her arms.
As she always did on those times she spent the night, Cecilia would give Azzy scraps after Ez went to bed or when he wasn't looking. The lovely Bander always enjoyed that.
When she stopped and sneezed at Heilyn, Cecilia remembered the coyote again and blinked a bit. The 'smoldering temptress' didn't seem to come back quite so quickly as before nor did 'damsel-in-distress' or, well, any of her other 'personalities'. She was just Cecilia and that was a rare thing indeed. "I would love to see where you sell your wares sometime, Heilyn." There was no batted eyelashes, no sultry purrs. The combination of tea and Azzy and being in the closest thing to what she'd ever call a 'home' really seemed to do the trick.
When Ez returned she broke into a bright and beautiful smile, the sort of winning expression that could've earned her the show name 'sparkling diamond' even without her surplus of jewels. "Of course I am," she cooed "when do I not?"
