She gave a slight disappointed mew when he dragged himself out of bed. The warm was gone, but she could see the sun through the currents. Oh well. She sighed as she slipped out of the opposite side of the bed. She stretched very catlike before grabbing her straight jacket.
"Oh! That would be quite wonderful!" Peaches said as she wiggled into her jacket. "I normally forget to eat breakfast, even if it is my favorite meal. I wonder if anyone still serves hash browns this late." Salty foods were one of her second loves. The first being secrets and interesting people. She looked around briefly, grabbing the rest of her clothing.
Once fully dressed she looked over to him with a grin, fastening her earring in it's proper place. "You know, next time we meet I'll have to make you breakfast. It's the one meal of the day I can actually cook without setting something on fire."

Hatter would've love to spend the rest of the afternoon in bed with her, even occupy some of the evening if he could, but in all honesty his stomach was starting to become quite angry with him after more than a day of not eating. It would surely begin to protest again soon if he let it slide without attention, but it did that a lot.
"Then its settled! Tea and Breakfast, or eh...lunch!"
He dressed as she did, tucking in his watch and sweeping his hat onto his head, before returning his attention to the wonderful feline as she attached her earring. Oo? She could cook? Now that was something Hatter absolutely could not do. He had no attention span for it.
"O! Well then you've got a one-up on me! I can't cook a bloody thing, honestly." He laughed warmly as he headed for the kitchen and the tea. "Mostly everything I attempt to cook ends up on fire. I do love breakfast though, so I will take you up on that offer...just warn me first, so I can be sure there's food to cook with."

"Ha! Well we can't be good at everything," She said with a toss of her hair, as it simply slided back into place in protest. Oh, whatever, she'd try to fix it later or something. If she did a quick pop back to her feline form it would be fine. For now she could live without fixing it. She absently connected her fan back to one of her belts as she thought about how messy her hair was.
"For one, I can't sing for the life of me. I sound like someone beating a stray dog with a broken violin." She shrugged as she followed him. She stopped before going into the kitchen though, there was no point in shoving herself in a tiny space that contained scolding hot water. Even if the tiny space with another person was tempting she wasn't going to shove herself into it.
"I can't really dance unless I'm fighting, so it doesn't really count I suppose." It was a shame really. She had no artistic talents besides making puppets.

For reaching 101 posts, you all get the special February 101 posts prize! Silky Ribbon: This strange, yard long, white silk ribbon would look gorgeous on most SD...it feels oddly tingly though. Once an SD is wearing it, it is very hard for them to stop touching it, often the SD are seen rubbing their fingers on it nervously at least once a day. This item will grant one SD one Ability~Nathalia

Hatter's hair was an absolute mess beneath his hat, but that was very much the beauty of hats as they hid that sort of thing. In fact, Hatter couldn't remember the last time he'd bothered to comb or brush his feather-entwined hair. Ah well. As he entered the kitchen Hatter his hands seemed to take on a life of their own as they sorted through the cabinet and he spoke casually over his shoulder.
"I have the vocal prowess of my species, I suppose. Birds of prey are rarely know for their sweet song." He grinned lopsidedly. "Dancing, though, dancing I can do. Fighting on the other hand..."
The tea was on the stove and heating, a tray of sugars and cremes and other such accessories in his hands as he moved to the table.
"It's not as if I'm defenseless, but I doubt you could call me a 'dancer' in regards to it." Honestly, he'd probably do better just letting Doorie handle the situation. Weapons were not his specialty and hand-to-hand combat was just as awkward. Not impossible, per se, but quite graceless.

"Things don't always make sense, like voices. My brother could sing. Haven't the slightest idea how it was possible." She shrugged as she watched him go through the cabinet. Wow. That was rather fascinating to watch. She almost didn't hear him start talking again.
"I suppose it just comes from years of training a bit of magic," She waved a sleeve absently as she decided to take a seat at the table. Why stand awkwardly when you can sit and watch someone do work. People watching was just a wonderful hobby. What people did was just absolutely fantastic. That was one of the reasons why she enjoyed spying on people. Well, there was the whole watching sex thing too, but sometimes it was fun watching other things that they did.
Right. It was tea she should be focusing on though. Tea and actually eating food. Funny how her stomach just decided to remind her of that. "So, since you eat out often I imagine you know a lot of places around here?"

Hatter nodded quiet, his gaze thoughtful for a moment. She could sing and he loved the sound of her voice. It was her songs that he seemed to sing all the time, little melodies that just crept up into his thoughts from time to time. He nearly began to hum one, but Peaches was here and he wouldn't subject her knowingly to his singing voice. He at least had a pleasant talking voice.
"I suppose its the same for singing?" He shook his head slightly, a small frown creasing his features. "Alice told me once that if I had a better ear for the notes, I could improve a bit, but I'm usually too distracted to listen to the 'little details'." It wasn't that he was dumb, his prowess in so many areas proved he wasn't, he was just consistently distracted by everything going on within his head. Too many musings at once. She claimed his head was full of tea, he didn't doubt that at all.
The kettle whistled loudly and he jumped slightly, not from surprise but from excitement and spun about lightly to return to working. He carried the tray to the table and poured a cup for them each before settling down beside Peaches. "Quite right there! Well, hm...what sort of food do you like to eat? That should help narrow it down, yeah?"

Peaches hermed thoughtfully. Who was Alice? Did she really want to know at the moment? She watched Hatter without a word as he thought to himself whatever he did. Yes, she did suppose singing was the same. You just had to have a voice to begin with.
What did she want to eat? That was a very good question. "I'm not sure," Peaches mused as she blew her tea cool. She carefully took a sip as she debated on what she wanted to eat. "I suppose if you don't know a place that serves breakfast this late, I'd be happy to go to someplace that has a rather large sized meal. I'm willing to eat quite a bit, but some place that has a decent selection of chicken might be nice."
She grinned as she took another sip of her tea. "You have a lovely taste in morning tea."

Hatter mused cheerfully on her words. Breakfast was good, but I large lunch sounded just as contenting. He wiggled slightly in his seat and sipped cheerfully at his tea. Actually, he knew a rather nice place that would be able to offer them a nice big lunch and most definitely some chicken.
It even had some entertainment, if he remembered correctly. It had been a while, though, so he wasn't sure.
Another deep sip of tea and he nodded decisively because he had just realized they also had a very nice tea selection. "I believe there's a nice place not too far from here that serves nice big lunches. It's a bit pricey...," he paused in thought before offering her another nod. "but I'll pay, and it's never stopped me before, so it should be perfect!"
That cheerful grin grew as she commented on his tea and he bobbed his head cheerfully. "Why thank you, Peaches~" He cooed out, taking another sip. It was nice and strong though not so much as to be overwhelming, just enough to wake him up.
"We can go whenever you'd like." He added as a cheerful afterthought.
