"Lights. Off. NOW!" she hissed rather than said softly. Her head heard and she managed to get some of the words that he said. The lights being off would help the pain to some degree. She still might not be able to remember anything come morning, but she was too drunk to know what was happening anymore.
She flopped back on the bed suddenly, moving over to the edge. She wasn't about to go back on the thingy she made. An agreement that's what it was called. Focusing on any one thing made her head worse. Pain, a blinding a searing pain from her relentless headache was eating her every movement and action. She either needed something more painful to distract her or something else. Anything else. Ice? No. That wouldn't make the pain go away.
The heron squeezed her eyes shut. Loreta knew she was losing her composure. She just couldn't control anything anymore.

The stallion's ears went back uneasily at the woman's words and he went for the lights without a word. They were flipped off dutifully before the man made his way back to the bed. He hesitated for a long moment at the side, wondering if it really might be better for him to just sleep on the floor. Still... perhaps she'd rest better with someone beside her? Or perhaps it'd keep her mindful not to throw up. Either of those were good justifications in the man's mind.
After one moment longer to see if the bird would say anything further, Rai slipped up onto the bed and carefully settled himself beside the woman. It wasn't completely unusual for the man to have a woman in his bed, but it was a little strange for the woman to be hungover with a migraine and not there for sex. Well, actually, it wasn't unusual for Rai to be in bed with a woman; it was unusual for a woman to be in his bed. He notoriously did his nightstalking away from home.

She felt him besides her body. Warmth. It didn't make the headache go away. The heron shifted an snuggled up closely besides him. If she was going to spend the night with him she might as well make it worth it. "Ever have you head cracked open? That's what if feels like. Want to give me a distraction?" She asked staring at him in the dim light.
Loreta would have been more modest about the whole thing but she was in too much pain and too drunk to give a damn. She wanted this nightmare to end. Well. She wanted the headache to go away and that was close enough to a nightmare. A nice long good distraction would help. She needed something that would make her pass out.
Or at least have her in so much pain that she could pass out. She didn't particularly care actually.

Shinrai blinked in some surprise at the blatant offer/demand and he couldn't quite stop the smile that touched his lips. Not that he found the question overly amusing but more that this was the woman's way of asking for sex. Right. Somehow it seemed much more like the Lore he knew in the bar and that reassured him a great deal.
"As a matter of fact, I very nearly did once, and I doubt very much that remembering it now will of much use to any of us. I will, however, help in wotever capacity would be of most use to you."
The more he thought about this, the more amusing he found it which meant that he really was still a bit tipsy himself. Fine, then he was going to do the best $% job of distraction he possibly could. With that thought in mind, the stallion rolled over to the woman and proceeded to do his absolute best in terms of distraction.
(( *coughs* Discreet cut? xD; ))

((OOC: XD cut for you <3 ))
That morning wasn't a pleasant one. Her head was throbbing rather nicely as she turned over in the strange bed. What exactly happened last night? Why was she in a bed with... a horse? A green horse? Was she still drunk?
The heron sat up, struggling with the covers for a moment before freeing herself. She definitely wasn't at home. This must have been the horse's home. What was his name again? Whip? Yes, his name was whip because of his tail. That or she made it up. Whatever. It wasn't a good morning considering she still had a hangover and a bit of her migraine. At least she had fun?
Fun. Right. She had sex didn't she? It certainly felt like it. What was better than alcohol, a headache and sex in one night? Waking up without any of the side effects. That would be lovely and a miracle. "Guhhh..." she said. Judging from the sun peaking through the window it was almost noon. That must have been one hell of a night.

Normally a fairly light sleeper, a wild night of action and adventure and the man pulling out every ploy he could think of to help distract the woman from her pain, Rai wasn't coming back as swiftly as he usually did. In fact, it took a long moment of contemplation before he figured out that not only was he actually in his bed as he originally thought but there was someone in the bed with him and that was unusual enough that it gave him a rather long pause.
When she grunted, or wotever exactly that noise was, the stallion abruptly remembered and he flicked a curious ear towards the woman. "Forgotten why you were here?" he asked, amusement in his voice. Actually he rather expected that, though he had no easy way to break it to her exactly wot had occurred. And he doubted telling her the truth about the loneliness would be a good idea...

"Don't talk so loud," Loreta grumbled as she looked at the horse with bleary eyes. "I think I remember somethings. Drinking. A random bird. Sex. Unless I dreamed all that. The rest is pretty blank."
Loreta wobbled where she sat. She slowly slipped back to the pillow that she and the man were sharing. Walking (hopping actually) wasn't going to happen as long as she was this hungover. She needed some water or a shower. Coffee maybe? Either way she was dizzy and felt like complete and utter crap.
"You don't have to explain a thing to me. I'd actually rather not know what I'm like when I'm drunk," she said looking up at the ceiling. She wasn't sure how clearly that came out since a ringing had started in her ears. One thing after another, it was almost as if she was falling apart. That was a terrifying thought.

The stallion gave another low laugh, though there was a bit more of an edge to it now. "Well, you're good for the ego," he said lightly, rising swiftly and stretching out his body fully before sending her a curious glance. "Perhaps I can get you some breakfast before you go." It wasn't really a question, just a rhetorical statement that he suited with action, disappearing from the room quickly. At least he could send her off with a good memory of him, even if his lovemaking wasn't worth remembering. He snorted at that thought. No, that had to be Lore's failing, not his. Well, all he could do now was be an excellent host. The stallion made a real effort to do so now. -------------------------------- Several weeks later, found the stallion back in the same bar, hardly his first visit in the time since his visit from a strange Torquehelmian, but perhaps this night there'd be a reason to bring the strange woman to mind...

Loreta wasn't drunk yet. Hell she built up a tolerance fast. The heron shook her head in dismay as she stared at the drink in front of her. With a annoyed sigh she looked around the bar. Some entertainment perhaps was waiting for her.
Well no. Something green that looked vaguely familiar. Didn't she have a night with him or something? What was his name? It was something short wasn't it? Whip? Was that a name? Hell if she could remember.
The heron hopped in her usual manner over to the horse and sat down besides him. She ordered another beer before turning to him. "We've met before, right? I'm just really bad with names. It started with a "W" right? Or something like that?" Lore asked with a puzzled expression. She sipped on her beer in thought waiting for an answer.
She didn't actually care. It was just some form of entertainment.
