Shinrai found himself at a bit of a loss; the shipment of books had arrived when planned, but not where planned. He growled at the men dropping off the two large boxes in his suite entry way and the stallion stared at them with some despair. Yes, lovely timing, but so not the right address! The two boxes of books were supposed to be delivered to his company’s postal box back in Josiggy Marsh; not his suite in the Capital City. Blast it all. The stallion carefully angled the books further into his living room so he could carefully hop over them and close the door on his way out. All right, he officially had a reason to find Theofilus now for the sole purpose of getting his books where they were supposed to be. His hooves retraced previous paths to the business district and now he was paying attention for the West Lakes Firm or for someone who seemed like they might know. It was with some surprise, then, that the stallion recognized one of his accosters from a previous venture into the streets. His ears flattened as he remembered the strange few hours he spent in the company of the black raccoon and a Selkies canine. But… he also remembered the Corvistowneian’s obsession with Theofilus. Blast it. Now, wot was that raccoon’s name again? Oh, right… ”Rocky.” The name was almost an order as the stallion strode towards the black creature with little sign of his inner unease.

The raccoon had a fantastic reason to be in the business district. He had to ship some supplies from here to his lab. Thankfully he had manage to discover The West Lakes Firm's base of operations. This had saved him the trouble of locating a new shipping firm, and also helped him rekindle his passion for flight every once in a while. Today he was especially joyful, he had seen so many people who could fly! And not only that, he was starting a new project that involved mechanical flight! He was going to go back to Corvistowne and created a completely mechanical wing. He had finally found the materials light and most stable enough to work with. Nothing could dim this raccoon's day. Absolutely nothing. He was, however, taken completely off guard by the sudden calling of his name. It wasn't calling though, it was apparently an order to attention. When had he met a drill sergeant...? Rocco turned around with a curious expression. He was greeted by the image of a green horse he had met earlier in his adventures around town. Oh yes! Sir Jack! Had he ever given Rocky an actual name? "Sir Jack-Whip! I never thought I'd see you again. What exactly are you doing in the business district?"

Rrrriiiigghhhtt, back to the Sir Jack thing. Not that the stallion cared even now. He had more important things to be concerned with; he needed to know where the office was. He hadn’t really expected to see the raccoon again either, but he hoped that the Corvistowneian could at least be of assistance.
”I’m searching for the West Lakes Firm,” the horse admitted reluctantly. He hated telling others wot he was about unless he absolutely could not avoid it, and now was such a time. ”I remember you had an interest in Theofilus,” Rai continued, forcing any hesitancy from his voice. ”I was wondering if you had ever found the location of the office?”
If the raccoon did not know, there was a very good chance the horse had just doomed himself to an afternoon of chatter for absolutely no reason. His ears went backwards as he tried to push that thought from his mind. He just –really- hoped he’d chosen a good guide.

"Oh! What a fantastic coincidence! I happen to be going to the Firm as well today!" The raccoon nearly hugged the horse. He thought better of it, however. He didn't seem thrilled about meeting the raccoon. "I won't ask you why you have a bee in your bonnet. I'll simply lead you to your desired destination."
Rocco grinned as he began down the street. His happiness would not fade today. Even under the threat of a gloomy marsh lander. He would hardly step back from the situation.
He lead them down the path to the firm. It took a good ten minute walk through the crowds to get to the building. It didn't look like all the other shipping firms, which were actually in the opposite direction. The little building that stood before them was neatly trim with a hanging sign written in fanciful gold letters.
Rocky was just shocked they hadn't expanded the office since the business picked up, but ultimately that was none of his concern. He grinned as he opened up the door. It chimed happily, alerting the occupants that their were costumers about.

In her little back office, the Diamond skunk was working quietly and calmly through yet another series of misjudged accounts. In this case it didn’t look like their customer was making the error; it appeared to be the delivery men! It was so odd that Kelasia was triple-checking the numbers again. But their customer always reported 2% less of the item needed than wot they had sent. She bit her lower lip thoughtfully; it was highly likely that Theofilus was going to have to step in personally yet again. The bell jangled cheerily in the back of her mind, but it was a purely subconscious realization; Rogers was in and upfront. She had no need to interact with customers today. She did need to keep an ear out for Theofilus, but she was certain her Shepherd coworker would let her know somehow if their boss came in. She almost always had a reason to speak with the Selkie bird, and not just because she always wanted to.

Rocky bounced into the office. "Rogers!" he said in a singsong voice. "We have some business for you!" The raccoon was amazingly happy enough to make the German Shepard double take.
The German Shepard smiled cordially, "Hello! What do you lads need today?" He gave a cordial smile to the men who entered. Today was a good day for him, Theofilus was coming to take care of business. And supposedly he had some good news. Then again, after the ordeal he had gone through, anything was happy for the Sparrow.
Rocky bounced impatiently. He should probably let the Jack go first, since, he was higher in rank. But his wings were taunting him! He had to get the supplies shipped as soon as possible! Sometimes it was a pain being creative and having a lower rank. "Sir Whip is going first, I believe."
The German Shepard waited for the equine to speak.

Shinrai’s ears swept back yet again. Yes, he had also forgotten how overwhelming the raccoon could be. At least the German Shepherd appeared to be calm and collected; that was a plus. ”I have two crates of books that need to be relocated out to Josiggy Marsh.” The stallion’s explanation was cool and quiet, as though in comparison to the black Corvistowneian’s bouncy cheerfulness. ”They should be collected from my residence here in the Capital.”
The horse fully expected to have to fill out a number of forms, but he was a bit concerned about the potential cost involved. He waited to give the canine a chance to explain anything regarding the needed details of the shipment.
Kel’s ear flicked at the rather unaccustomed happy tones in the front room followed by a cool voice that immediately sent an unnerved chill up and down the skunk’s spine. She had a sudden certainty that she did not want to meet the owner of that particular voice. Biting her lip uneasily, she forced her attention back to the paper before her, but now she was listening uneasily for any indication that man might try to come back to her room; even though there was no logical reason for any customer to do so without Rogers express permission.

Rogers nodded to the Jack. "Well good sir, I need to know your name to see if you have any open accounts with us. Then what are the details of your order? Verbally telling me should be enough, I'll get my coworker to fill out the forms." He smiled graciously at the Stallion. He obviously was a good customer wasn't he? The raccoon bounced in the background. He wanted to desperately to place his order and run back to his shared tiny apartment. He had to leave for Corvistowne right away! His brilliant plan would escape him if he didn't work on it soon! --- The sparrow walked down the street in his human form. He was not in a cheery mood as he should have been. It was a short visit to the Capital, and he should have been happy. No something still bothered him. It had been how long since he had completed the quest? No. It didn't matter. He was here now and he had to sort out some business deals. The sparrow came to the small building that held the Capital City, West Lake Firm. It was time to but his business face on. He opened the door and was surprised to find some very familiar faces. "Hello," he said raising an eyebrow in curiosity. Did he have a lot more business than Rogers had said?

(( If the img is wrong, i’ll fix it at home.. xD; Can’t see the images here… lol )) ”Shinrai,” the stallion supplied easily. ”I have had one delivery to me out in Josiggy Marsh a few months ago. That address should still be on file.” Gads, had it only been a few months? With all the busyness in the Capital, it seemed like a great deal longer. Rai tried to ignore Rocky’s bouncing, but it was difficult to do; obviously the raccoon was very excited by wotever it was he needed to send. Or receive. The horse supplied the address of his suite in the city, only to be interrupted by the door opening yet again. Ears swiveled backwards as the door opened then he turned his head at the rather familiar voice. The form, however, was most surprising. The grey-green eyes lit with interest as he belatedly placed the human before him as the sparrow he had once taken through the Marsh. His ears pricked forward with interest. "Theofilus," the stallion said quietly. "You have improved while we were apart."----------- Theofilus! She recognized his voice right through the door and she took a deep breath to suppress her sudden flare of excitement. She wanted to show him wot she had worked very hard to attain and so shifted; limbs elongated and she pushed herself upright. A hand brushed back at her forelock with embarrassed unease and she moved to lay her hand on the door. She could do this. She wanted to see how he would react. She had to. Rogers only knew that she had her bipedal form; he hadn’t yet seen it as she had simply stuttered out her accomplishment with a bright blush then escaped swiftly to his words of praise. With one more deep breath, Kelasia adjusted her precious belt and pulled open the door to present herself to her employer. Shock. Absolute. Shock. The female’s heart stuttered painfully in her chest at the unfamiliar sight of a human in the office. But she knew him; immediately, intimately. She made a small, undefined sound in the back of her throat, retreating a step on unpracticed legs. She couldn’t think—Bipedal form was beauty enshrined, but human form….. Sweet oblivion swallowed her, preventing her from having to decide how to respond.

Rocco's bouncing stopped as he saw the human at the door. He had only seen one human before, and that did not leave him with a pleasant experience. He was not quite sure who it was until Shinrai pointed it out. The sparrow had attained his human from so soon? That was amazing! Rocky would have spoken, but words just didn't seem to describe his awe. He simply at in the corner and stared.
---
What a wonderful and gracious greeting he had received. The equine that stood before him was someone he had met only a few months earlier. Shinrai was a tour guide, wasn't he? Obviously he had made some changes in the time they were apart. Theofilus glanced at the corner where Rocky sat in awe without a greeting. That was fine by him, honestly.
"Hello Shinrai, it's a pleasure to see you again," Theofilus said with a smile and a tip of his hat.
Roger stared at the sparrow in complete shock. He had forgotten everything else completely. All he could say was a meek, "Wow." That was the surprise he had in store for them.
Suddenly there was a thump. Theofilus' head jerked in the direction of the backroom where Kelasia worked. He blinked a few times and stood on his tip toes. He spotted a pair of feet sticking out from the doorway. "Kelasia!" He exclaimed before making his way to the back. The customers could wait a minute. Especially Shinrai. The sparrow was not to sure on how someone from the Marsh would react to someone from the Range. He didn't care to find out.
He rushed to her side, and carefully lifted her head and shoulders up, placing them in her lap. Theofilus couldn't help but be shocked by her new form, but he suppressed every question he had at the moment.
"Rogers. Help. Get the smelling salts."
