He gave an idle twitch of his ear and tail along with a flick of the fishing pole that rested in his hand. He knew the action itself would not do anything to quicken the fish catching, however the tension of sitting so still for a long period of time was something that was a little too much for the mix. The simple actions helped to relieve his boredom of waiting though.
Throwing his head back he rotated it slightly from side to side to release some tension that had built up. Rotating it back he gazed over at where Dre sat besides him. "It is awfully quite." He commented with a smirk. "Perhaps we should give a shout out in case the two tag-alongs wanted to find us?"
If he saw either of them he was pretty sure that someone would be going for a swim.

Elias was most definitely in a foul mood. He'd gotten the hurried, and as was typical of Ira, nearly incomprehensible message moments ago, and composed himself so that he didn't think of all sorts of nasty scenarios. Ira was a little dramatic and prone to flights of fancy, but a hint of the truth was always in there somewhere. Or, at least something that would lead to a line of questioning that would reveal the truth. At some point.
He was nearly calm enough when he loudly thought Ignatius. Thinking loudly wasn't that hard right now. He had to remind himself that he didn't know what was happening yet. When he felt the pull that meant that his "call" had gone through, he started speaking. "Iggy. Ira says $#*&. I think that means it's time to get back from your honeymoon and do some damage control."

Dre laughed quietly as she gazed up at Ignatius with love-filled eyes, "No, I think it's nicer to just have the two of us and enjoy--"
Her words dropped off as her face went blank and a low, masculine, familiar voice cut right into the middle of her sentence. "Iggy. Ira says $#*&. I think that means it's time to get back from your honeymoon and do some damage control."
Drostan jerked away from her suddenly limp hand and stared at his mistress in shock and more than a little fear. "What did you do to her?!" he demanded immediately of Ignatius. "What happened?!" Dre had to be okay; she had to. The Ace had no answer to what would happen to him or become of him if she was incapacitated, especially stuck at the hands of the King of Clubs that he was still certain hated him.

When Dre suddenly stopped speaking he lofted an eyebrow, shifting positions so that he could face her better. He became concerned when he saw the state that she was now in, her body seemingly unnaturally relaxed and her gaze blank. And then that voice came out of her mouth.
It did not take much for the mix to recognize that he knew the voice though it took a little bit of a moment to realize just why he knew it. In all the sunny hills he would have never thought to have heard the voice of his third father to come from the throat of his beloved.
Of all the things . . . . this was stranger than when he had meet that Stranger in the field that one night.
"What does Ira . . .?" He trailed off as he realized what was going on. $#*& fit it perfectly. "How bad it is?" He addressed the voice - it was too strange to think of it as Dre right at that moment - completely ignoring Drostan for the moment.

"Do you honestly think Ira did anything besides walk up to me, say 'Tell Iggy $#*&,' and run off? It's too public to catch him and get details. And he's Ira." Elias shrugged, though the gesture wouldn't translate through Dre's shoulders.
"Look, here's what I know. There's screaming right now that you can't hear, Ira ran by, told me to contact you with that message, and run off. As soon as we break communication, I'm going to find out what happened and get another Club to get you details if need be. But it sounds like Pinnochio's going on a rampage, Jiminy. I highly suggest you get back here and tell him to be a good boy. I won't step in before I have to, but I'm not the only Card here, and someone might get heroic. Problem with heroes is, someone usually ends up dead around them. Is there anything you can tell me that will help calm him down? Any sort of message I can whisper to him?"

Iggy ran an agitated hand through his fur, "I should probably be grateful that I was given that much of a message considering that it has come from Ira alone." He was silent for a moment as his mind quickly worked through scenarios and plans.
Most of what he said next was more thinking aloud than directly aimed at Elias as part of a conversation. "As soon as we are done we will head back immediately. There is not too much damage that he can do, besides that which he can do as Se." Which if you knew the male was probably more than would make anyone comfortable. "He does not have it with him so that part of his plan should be okay. Ira is suppose to make arrangements for that segment."
He paused for a moment as he thought over the last part of Elias' comment. Was there anything that someone else could pass on to the winged-equine?
"If there is anyway to get a hold of him - be it through you or someone else - try telling him that he needs to go help his mind look for it. My being gone should cause a delay in his search long enough for us to get back in time."

"Look for it. Got it. That should slow him down? I can do that. Tell him he needs his mind to help him find it." The kid was bat guano loco. El shook his head, another gesture lost through the communication link. If Se was really so far gone that nonsense like that would make sense to him and stop a rampage, El was upset at the thought that he'd even have a CHANCE to rule a Court, let alone a Court that El had spent so many years and so much effort getting himself ingratiated into.
"Strong recommendation that you expedite, Iggy. It wasn't Rai or Se screaming. Whether or not Rai is safe right now, a lot of other people aren't. Not everyone was born a King." With that, El cut the communication. He made his way to the commotion so that he could try and relay this message to Perseus, slipping into social invisibility as soon as he got among the crowd of terrorized courtiers. Now where was Se? Or Ira, for that matter?

Dre blinked awake and looked up at her husband, her smile beginning to return until she realized that he looked concerned. She blinked and tried to remember wot they had been talking about before she dozed off. "If you'd really like to push them into the pond, Ignatius, I'm not that opposed to the idea. We'll just have to run before mama finds out." The tried to laugh, but the trill was filled with more concern than anything else. "You're okay!" Drostan threw himself into her lap and the woman slipped her arms around the Ace in concern. "Of course I'm okay, you silly." She smiled fondly at the creature.
Ira stepped back from the room wearily, as he sent another pair of servants carrying a wounded man away. Really, if they'd learn to control their panic, people wouldn't be getting so hurt. As far as he could tell, Se had only pounced one guy, and then that woman had leapt in to the man's defense and those were the only two that Se had even touched. Maybe it was the man's form that was setting off the panic of the servants. Ira mused on this thoughtfully from the doorway, stepping to one side to let a few more lower ranked Cards run past.

"Roger that." He replied in parting to the Queen. He was already making plans for everything that would need to happen in the next few hours for everything to turn correctly. Expedite indeed, tenfold at that.
He was just setting down his fishing line and was ready to call Dre back when she started to rouse. "Huh?" He asked, giving her a confused look at her comment about wanting to throw someone into the pond, his previous conversation with her all but forgotten.
Shaking his head he gave a hesitant chuckle. "Being as tempting as that urge truly is, we have more important things that need to happen. Ira just contacted, we need to go. Now."
Standing up he shook his fur, placing an arm around Juris to make sure he was not shaken loose from the movement. Reaching down with both arms he offered them as an aid to help her up from the ground.

Tracing the location of the disturbance by heading into the room that everyone else was leaving seemed a good place to start. When he walked in, his mind took a moment to itself, letting his eyes stare uncomprehendingly at the monstrosity that was his adopted son's son. Adopted grandson? No, that didn't sound right. Here came his mind again to let him know that he was indeed seeing Perseus, but it was unlike anything El had laid eyes on before. The hideous wings were still there, but were either larger or just seemed that way because the human form was smaller. Why were they there at all?
It was like Se's outside was twisted to display the madness within when he shifted to his human form. Seeing it now, though, Elias was revolted, but he would be able to manage. Still blending in, he sent his voice to whisper at Se, "Where is it? You need to find it. You can't do it alone. Where's your mind?"
