Mnem had briefly considered lifting a glass and slamming it into Minh's head when she began telling them to fuck this and fuck that--her first outburst had been mildly amusing; this one was merely tiresome--but her irritation subsided into genuine amusement as she continued. The notion that Rai was good for anything but a roll in the hay and terrible headaches was so laughable that she nearly considered becoming a comedian for the sole purpose of telling that joke. For the first time in a while, she wished she were back in the Gardens; damn, they would get a kick out of this.

"Nor can I," she said, with a small laugh. The waiter brought the check. "We're going to split this four ways, thank you." She laughed again. "I've never heard anything so ridiculous in my entire life. Minh, darling, why don't you head back home and try to sleep off whatever it is that's making you behave so queerly. Can you imagine, Shinrai?"

Rai's laughter was under control now, but he couldn't help one last chuckle, especially when Mnem gave her agreement. "I don't believe that would be wise for either of us, actually. Oh, wow. That was wonderful."

The stallion turned as the waiter returned with the four checks and he quickly paid his own part, rising after he received his change. They exited to the street and the stallion sighed as he looked at the couple and Darrien's still smitten expression. He truly was wasting his time. At the very least, though, it was late enough that hopefully Mnem wouldn't be able to do any experiments on the man.

"I wish you the best of luck," he said brightly to the other man, then inclined his head courteously to Mnem and Minh, as though they hadn't been whore-calling for the last twenty minutes. "I'm certain I will see you two later. Darrien," he turned once more to the Selkie Lakes canine. "Drop off some contact information. We can look into that contract later."

With that, the stallion walked off, humming lightly to himself as the group finally broke apart.

Glass Rose: This thin, delicate item is incredibly beautiful and intricate. It's stem has a thin spiral of smooth glass winding around it so that the owner can grasp it without being cut on the razor sharp glass thorns that line its length. This spiral can easily be removed however and the rose given to a non-suspecting SD. The thorns will cause a very strange thing to happen to the SD pricked by them and a curse shall befall.
This rose can also be liquefied and drunk for a power, or used in a breeding. <3
