Dilis had really done it this time. She had intended on doing some exploring while father was having his alone time and she had wandered a little too far. " Oh no... what am I supposed to do now?". Nothing looked familiar and the residents kind of frightened her. The men she saw were all giving her strange looks and coming towards her, she was so scared that she ran. She ran so fast that she hadn't noticed the tree... SMACK... She was out. A few hours later she woke up; she looked around to find the men had gone but the lump on her head... unfortunately was still present. She rubbed her head wondering how many others had seen her mishap. Brushing herself she looked around and realized she had run farther than she had intended and now she was even more hopelessly lost than she was before.

It was a rare occasion when Seki got to slip away from his parents or one of his concerned siblings and just...enjoy himself. Yet, when he did, he made certain that he got to have a little fun. After all, when the spotlight was off and he got to relax, Seki was just your average teenage boy. He liked to have fun, he liked to meet new people...and, of course, he had a healthy dose of troublesome interests. In a depressive place like Torquehelm, the half Corvistownien feline was a brightly colored oddity. On a good day, such as this one, he was too cheerful by most opinions and too loud by all the rest. It didn't matter if it was all just a cover, just his way of coping with his shyness and his anxiety, it was still there. Laughing to himself after the mischief he'd just stirred up (the remnants of which being a foul smelling smoke billowing in the air), Seki and Mocha headed along down a quiet trail just outside of town. There was a quiet little place that he often visited here that he often used when he wanted a little time to himself...only something caught his eye before he could. Something slight of frame and blindingly colorful in contrast to the surrounding gloom. An Avington girl from the looks of it...and she seemed lost. Slowly he picked up his pace, jogging over. "Hey! Are you alright, miss?"

Dilis looked up at the voice, she hoped it wasn’t one of those... things finally catching up to her. “Oh, Oh My! You scared me. I thought you were one of those awful people who were coming after me.” She rubbed her head and tried to remember exactly what happened.
“I was walking to Capital City and I wanted to explore a little and I ended up in this awful place. There were people and they looked upset with me, I don’t know why though… I was just seeing what this place was… Well, they started toward me and I ran but- I ran too far and I don’t know where I am or how to get back home” Dilis cried. He seemed harmless enough but she thought the others earlier were harmless as well until they started chasing her… she would just have to wait and see what happened, she was already trapped if he had planned on doing something to her.

Seki frowned slightly. The girl looked so very frightened. Sure, she was an outsider and the people around this part of town weren't all too kosher on having strangers about, but he doubted they would've hurt her. Well, he couldn't say that for sure. You could never really guarantee the quality of a person from afar and, in his case, most of them proved out to do him harm.
Smiling warmly, trying to be as friendly and approachable as possible, he drew in closer and crouched down beside her. "That's a nasty bump there, miss... I hope you're alright. I've got plenty of experience with people aiming to be me harm, so I understand your nervousness, but rest assured: I don't intend to hurt you." He smiled winningly, though there was just the slightest flicker of sadness in the depths of his bright green eyes.
Why did people have to be so cruel sometimes?
"My name's Seki and this is my Bander, Bodyguard and Teddy Bear" he laughed slightly before continuing, " -- Mocha. You can give her a pat if you'd like, she's quite friendly for the most part." The chubby little Bander had a very motherly aura about her as she waddled up, brushing her owner's leg and sneezing a greeting to Dilis.

[OOC: ZOMG KOSHER AHAHAHAHAHA. Dilis is so Seki's hag.]
Dilis looked up at the male feline before her. He seemed like he really was nice so she thought that perhaps she might trust him. Rubbing her head, she made sense of what he was saying to her. "Uh-oh y-yes, I must have hit my head when I was running away. I was so scared I hadn't been watching where I was going... I am kind of accident prone as well" Dilis blushed.
"I am okay now, I will just probably have this bump as a reminder of my silliness for awhile." When he smiled at her, she felt calmed and was able to take in her surroundings without panicking.
"My name is Dilis... a bander? I think I've seen one of those before... she's lovely" Dilis gave the Bander "Mocha" a pat on the head and scratched her behind the ear. "Hello Mocha, it's a pleasure to meet you" she cooed to the little Bander. "You're right, she is nice. I hope I can get one as nice as her one day" Dilis Smiled.

Seki couldn't help but identify with the lovely Avington feline. So many times he had run blindly into the unknown and had wound up with more than a few bumps and bruises to prove his folly in those situations. It was something he really ought to watch out for.
"Well it's a pleasure to meet you, Dilis. I hope that bump doesn't give you too much trouble."
He still wore that cheerful smile, trying to keep the lovely female calm and unconcerned with the dark and gloomy atmosphere surrounding them. Most people knew to the region didn't take well to it.
"You don't get mild mannered little gals like her all the time... In fact, to be entirely honest, she can have quite the attitude most of the time. She doesn't approve of people pushing me around and isn't afraid to push back." He left out the bit where he couldn't often push back for himself...but that was why Mocha was there in the first place. "So, may I ask where you're from? Maybe I can help you find your way back home or back to the Capital if they would be easier. I come and go between here and there all the time."

"Oh, it should be fine; I've had worse bumps before" Dilis smiled. Though it hurt her, she couldn't help but smile around him, he was terribly nice and she was beginning to be quite fond of him. Aw, he's darling, I hope we can become good friends.
"Attitude? I could never see her doing any wrong... she's terribly sweet, of course you know her better than I" Dilis said as she patted Mocha's head. "I am glad she sticks up for you though, it must be nice to have another who is there for you."
Where am I from? I am from Avington, which is why it's so silly I got myself so lost. I just decided that today I would explore since I haven't been anywhere but Avington or Capital City. And I guess now here counts as well. Help? Oh, that would be terribly nice of you. If I can just get myself back to Capital City, I know how to get back home. I would say back to Avington but, I am not sure father would like seeing me walk home with a young man unaccompanied."

Seki chuckled a little and crouched down, scratched Mocha behind the ears. Everyone took her sweet, chubby appearance and docile attitude as a sign that she was lazy and useless...not so. Even while feeding her all the table scraps that he couldn't eat on his own he'd made sure she'd stayed well trained.
She just...happened to be a chubby little bundle of affection on first appearance. But after someone decided to shove him around? Well, she was a whole different Bander. About the same difference as a mother bear going from 'teddy bear' with her cubs to 'vicious man-eater' when said cubs were in danger.
'Least he got the better end of the deal, right?
The bander sniffed at Dilis slightly, curious about the new girl that Seki was paying attention to. Apparently she seemed unconcerned, so Seki allowed his slender frame to relax further.
"Yeah, it really is... Not many people look out for me like she does, and I honestly tend to get in the most trouble when she's not around too." He gave the bander a loving pat. "She's my good luck charm."
Slowly he lifted up and held out a hand to her, he'd give her a paw up and make sure her balance was steady before speaking up again.
"Avington, hm? My dad's...ah, friend, comes from that area as well. Rather mysterious I've heard, is it nice there?"

Dilis wiped the tear from her eye and looked at Seki and Mocha. Seki’s bander, Mocha had come over to check Dilis out and she didn’t mind it really. She loved creatures so very much and Mocha was no exception. She found Mocha to be awfully cute and chubby… oh boy did she love chubby things.
Seki had offered his hand to her; he was terribly sweet and he acted like he liked her to boot. Dilis reached her paw up to Seki’s and let him lift her up.
“Th-Thank You.” She answered, surprised at his kindness to her.
“Your father is an Avington? What’s their name? Perhaps I’ve heard of them. It’s nice there however it can be boring if you have no one to be around… like… me...” She looked down at the ground, ashamed because so far everyone had been flabbergasted at her not having friends. No one had offered to do anything about it so far however. “The area however is rather pretty. When I am at home, I like to sit and watch the sunset and rise because it’s just that pretty. Once in awhile father will join me and it makes it just that much better.”

Seki did indeed like Dilis. Perhaps not in the manner she expected, but he liked her nonetheless. She was a sweet and friendly girl and quite bright compared to the gloomy surroundings. He always liked cheerful people like this, it usually meant he didn't have much to be afraid of.
"You're very welcome, Miss Dilis. It's a pleasure to help out."
Her question made her pause a small bit and blush a little. Always so much confusion with this topic, wasn't there? He laughed aloud and rubbed the back of his neck awkwardly.
"Ah well, not really. My father is a Corvistownien named Ophelia and her assistant, Maxwell, is my mother... It was a bit of an experiment between the two, you see. Mom also had a relationship with an Avington male shortly before, however, and they had a small litter themselves. I don't believe she realized she was pregnant at the time of the experiement..." He cough slightly and grinned at Dilis. "Point being, though... The Avington is a buck named Silvanus. Good guy, for the most part."
He wasn't about to explain the subtle ways that Silvanus was not a good guy. That was between him and the people involved. So he went on instead, frowning slightly as she mentioned she was lacking of company in Avington.
"Ah, that's a pity! Though, I have to admit I don't really have any friends either. Just Mocha, for the most part."
