((OOC: OH NOES! PEER PRESSURE. We're putting to crazies together to see what happens.)) Kazifel was in the Highlands again. He was not sure he wanted to be here. This was his old home until they had moved to Corvistowne. He had been tormented by his so called peers for being different. If he ever saw them again, which he was sure he would not, he would kill them in cold blood. How long had it taken him to travel? He was not sure anymore about passing time. It all escaped him. All he knew is if it were not for those stolen paint cans he would probably be dead. Money was an issue he had yet to solve. How very complicated real life was. He didn't like it one bit. The doll looked uneasy as he walked down the streets. Some people stared, he snapped back at them with glares. If he had the power to break each an every one of them for looking at him with those accusing eyes he would. Kazifel closed his eyes and stopped for a moment to regain what little composure he had left to his name. "None of them are worth it, not yet," he muttered to himself as he walked forward. If he was going to break someone today, it was going to be proper.

A dark, tall and very twisted figure stood off to the side and watched with some interest as the newcomer walked by. His eyes followed the male quietly and he slipped from shadow to shadow as he quietly tailed the new subject of his idle curiousity. Pravus' eyebrow raised and he nearly chuckled to himself as he stalked along, he had the feeling that today was going to be fun. His bipedal form moved forwards silently and suddenly the strangers voice drifted back to him. "None of them are worth it, not yet," Ohhhh yes, this one was going to be fun. If only to follow and watch for a while. Hehehe

He tried to ignore all the people as he walked towards an alleyway, but when he turned around to look behind him in paranoia he caught a glimpse of a figure. A figure that was far more twisted and warped than he could consider "normal" in the Highlands.
So much had changed since he was a child. He did not like it. He wanted all of it to go away. What had brought him here again? Oh, yes. He wanted to know how he could fix himself. No one in Corvistowne was willing to answer him. No one anywhere was willing to answer him. They all asked the same question and said the same thing. He might as well stay broken if that was how things worked.
In front of the alleyway he stopped dead in his tracks. "Someone's there. I know it." The problem was there were people everywhere. Throwing a hissy fit in the middle of town was not an ideal solution. Even Kazifel knew that.
These were the moments where he wished he had an animal form. It would be easier to blend in. So much easier. "Where am I?" he asked as he suddenly realized he was nowhere near his birth place.
A doll lost in the middle of the Highlands. Great idea. He looked down the alleyway and debated walking down it. Maybe he could find someone or something to break? Better than being lost.

Pravus continued to follow even though he knew he would be spotted. How could anyone /not/ notice his figure slowly following behind them. Subtlety was a bonus he had lost somewhere for power. Oh he knew where he lost it, but the object in question was so valuable he refused to think ill of it. . . and honestly his Queen seemed to find it attractive.
A smirk crossed his face and he finally chuckled, a low menacing sound, as the doll decided to speak up. "Oh yes, someone's here." His chuckle turned into a roar of laughter as the stranger admitted he was lost.
"Poor little Card lost among the beautiful people." Sarcasm radiated through his voice when he said beautiful.
"Perhaps I can help you find your way?" His amber eyes were half slit and glinted mischieviously. He really did find this Card particularly interesting. Another freak like himself.

If he had a true heart, it would have skipped a few beats when he turned around to lay eyes on the King behind him. It was one of the few times he showed an actual reaction. His eyes widened in surprise as he examined the feline.
How horribly intimidating. There was very little bright side to meeting a king as far as Kazifel was concerned. At least the collar was something a bit less terrifying. He was interesting. Nothing like the other snotty Highlanders. Still. Trusting people was always a bad idea.
The feline offered to help him. It was suspicious. Dangerous. There were not many options. How many "beautiful" people would be willing to help him? Should he take the option? He had nothing to lose. Nothing. His eyes returned to their normal size as he spoke, his expression was back to his normal sullen expression. "As lost as I am, I doubt you could help me find my way. Unless you know where a particular house is."

Pravus laughed inwardly at the expression on the Cards face. The only outer sign of his amusement was in the slight tweak of his lips and a dangerous gleam in his eye. He looked the stranger over once again. What. . was it that bothered him so about this human-formed Card?
His eyebrow raised slightly as he realized, ball-joints. The man in front of him did not have proper flesh but instead, ball joints and jointed fingers. A living doll? Was it possible? Oh yes. . he was interesting all right and Pravus wasn't about to leave him alone now. Perhaps he could poke and prod in a more private place, where the winged human could not get away. Perhaps he could find out how he ticked.
What was the most interesting of all perhaps was the loss of the surprise in the widened eyes. He neither gasped nor screamed, as if he actually accepted how Pravus appeared. . Unusual.
"Oh I know where some buildings are." He said non-commitally. "In fact. . " He tilted his head, watching his new prey. How would he get him back to the Palace without a fuss. He only really wanted to tie him up for a while and look him over, but he was sure the Card would not appreciate that in the slightest.
"There are some gorgeous rose gardens around the way if you have time." His voice slithered, smooth but oh so dangerous.

Kazifel titled his head at the King. No formal introductions but an invitation to see rose gardens. What was this? Why was he so... friendly? Was there something horribly wrong with this King and Kazifel just didn't notice. He had been locked up for Twenty years from his understanding of the situation. Someone at Corvistowne was very shocked to see him still young.
He looked at the cat up and down before responding. He had his spine on the outside? That must of been what was wrong with him. Especially for a Highlander. Most of them wanted beauty or some such nonsense. "Roses? That might be... nice." His eye twitched. He hadn't seen roses since the day he brought some to Cassiel. It was her birthday and she loved them. But she was gone and now...
What the hell? Why was he trusting this cat? Shouldn't be be careful? Nothing had treated him properly since he left Corvistowne. In fact, nothing had treated him properly period.
But he really had nothing to lose. Only things to gain. So he could take a risk. Yes. A risk. Let this not backfire like everything else.

Pravus watched the thoughts move inside that head, like cogs in motion. He nearly snickered at the thought. What if there really were cogs in there somewhere? . . What if he could just switch his eyes out?
Nasty thoughts of disassembling the man in front of him while he screamed in agony raced lovingly through his mind like the touch of a lover. They excited him, titillated him. Oh yes, he would have fun, so much fun with this one. Perhaps he'd finally found the one that he could not kill. That he could torture or play with forever.
Though. . he'd probably grow bored. Oh well for now he'd keep his interest. "Oh yes. ." He nearly hissed. "They're quite nice, good smell,. . soft." Pravus tilted his head more than how it naturally sat and nearly purred in excitement. "Shall we go then?"

Felines were terribly tricky creatures to understand. He had spent enough time remembering Mili that he noticed the slight hisses and almost purrs. Kazifel could almost be frightened. If he had known the man's thought's he would have been absolutely terrified.
Then there came the subject of touch and smell. Things he had lost so very long ago. Things that wanted back so desperately. Just like he wanted to see Cassiel living and breathing again. They were painful, the memories. He didn't want the King the bring them up again. He didn't want to remember.
"I can't feel it anyway," he growled. "Nothing. Nothing at all." He wanted to feel the good and the bad. He wanted to feel everything. He was Broken, more broken than anyone would want to fix. He prevented himself from glaring at the King. He had to stay composed. "I would like to see them at least. Seeing would be nice."
Little did Kazifel know that he was simply fueling the fire.

Pravus was still plotting so many delightfully horrible things when the doll responded to him. He blinked quickly, taking in what he just heard. "Nothing?" . . SHIT
It was such a disappointing thing to hear, that he would feel nothing. That he could do anything he wanted and it would warrant no blood-curdling screams. No confessions when pain-drunk, nothing. One of his favourite moments was when a person broke under that pressure, it was like wiping a slate clean. Everyone became an innocent child under torture, confessing they're darkest secrets. Usually quite soon after they'd. . leave. He hoped this man would answer his questions on what came after that break but perhaps he'd never know.
. . . A low trickling rumble sounded in his chest. How very, very, disappointing. Though, what would happen to one that could feel fear, sorrow, and were not able to express it like a regular card. Oh.. . perhaps he'd still be fun afterall.
He smiled, a sickly sweet (for Pravus) smile. Something altogether unnatural on his face, though Kazifel would not know it. "Oh yes. . you must see them." He began to lead the way back to the palace.
It was not long before they reached the grounds and were among the flowers.
