"WHO I AM?" Kazifel screamed. He really didn't enjoy being thrown around like someone's piece of catnip. "Who are you! A proper introduction from a King would be a nice change!" He growled as he elbowed at the feline.
His eye twitched in frustration and dismay. He very much wanted to bite this man's neck, arm, anything! Kazifel wanted to get away from him and this was just awfully counter productive. "But I have a few manners left despite my short rope. Kazifel. That's my name, but I don't expect one from you."
He glared at the feline and elbowed at him once again. He didn't like where this was going. He was going to meet a Queen of Hearts. Possibly THE Queen of Hearts. Oh no, this would not go well at all. He spotted the open door, his eyes widening. He did NOT want to go inside. He did his best to prevent himself from moving but the damned feline was much stronger than him. So much stronger. Oh No NO NO!

Pravus damn near giggled as his 'captive' began to protest. Finally heheehe. "M'name's Pravus. Nice to meet you Kazifel. . . odd name." He continued to move him forwards.
"What's wrong? You don't want to see the Palace of Hearts? Many Cards would give their left arm just to walk into the front door. Perhaps you'll be more grateful when you meet the Queen." He joked around in a singsong voice, oh today was such a very, very good day. Pravus caught a particularly sharp jab from an elbow in his sternum and let out a puff of air and doubled for a second before straightening with a wrinkle of his nose.
"Didn't know you could actually fight back. Nicee." He said and dragged a single claw down that wooden back as they continued forwards.
"His Majesty Serafino, the Queen of Hearts." Pravus said by introduction as he shoved Kazifel towards the open antechamber door. "Be nice."

Queen Serafino? That was a name he didn't recognize. Kazifel stumbled forward as he was shoved into the chambers. Be nice wasn't reassuring.
The doll looked up. His eyes widened as he saw the figure. It was that of a redheaded man, with... fire... fire was around his neck. Every fear that Kazifel had welled up inside of him. If he had still be truly living he would have had a panic attack. However he wasn't like everyone else. He let out a horrific yelp as he spun around and tried his hardest to leap around the cat. Much to the doll's dismay he smacked the feline in the head as he stumbled forward. In one ungraceful and fluid motion Kazifel fell to the ground with a clatter.
No. He had to get away! He yelped a again as he struggle to get to his feet. "NO! NO! NO! NOT FIRE!" He yelled without knowing it. He was in a complete and utter panic as he stood up, oh. There was no way he could escape. He knew it, but he was quite consumed with fear.

Fino heard the odd procession long before they actually entered his chamber and he quirked an eyebrow, waiting to catch some sight of the prey that Pravus had decided was worth his attention. Sometimes the man acted far too much like a cat who had just caught a mouse, toying with people on their way to see him. It worked so much better with bipeds, that pushing.
Or, he supposed, humans. His eyes narrowed in surprise at the winged man who approached. Something was off, very off in those movements and the way he carried himself. Who the hell had ever heard of a human form with wings? Then he took note of the elbows... the stomach... what was this thing? Terrified of fire, obviously. He sent a silent command to one of the serpents, the larger red-tinged snake that flowed through the air like a ribbon, and it moved in to fly for a closer look.
"Not fire?" he replied with a snort. "If your first reaction is 'not fire' then you've obviously come to the wrong place." He raised his head to look Pravus in the eye, crimson meeting gold. "What is this pathetic thing?"

As they both moved into the room Pravus sneered, pleased to see the Queen with his fire. It was always an intimidating way to meet someone. To see some just sitting there with fire serpents on them, something that should be burning them alive, and be completely unharmed. The show of power was practically overwhelming. Fitting. . thought Pravus.
A surprised sound came from Pravus' mouth as that THING smacked him in the head with a very hard, very wooden, elbow. Out of nowhere even. But once he recovered and saw it on the floor in a heap he laughed at the pure terror. Surely the serpents deserved a reaction but this one was truly magnificent.
"I found him wandering about lost in the City my Majesty. I thought he was interesting enough to bring him to you. I've . . never seen a living doll before and figured that perhaps he might interest you." He paused to rub at his arms. "He has power, I'll give him that. He made my whole body go numb at a touch for a few seconds before I fought it off."

Kazifel winced as he was on the ground, tripping over himself. He just couldn't get away could he. He certainly was shaking to hard to control himself properly. He let out a weak whimper as he backed up on the floor to get away from the serpent. He squeezed his eyes shut, shaking his head. NO! NO! NO!
"Get it away!" he cried. It didn't mate what they were saying. He didn't care. All he knew was there was fire and he wanted away form it. However, he couldn't get away from it in his helpless and hopeless panic.
He had never been this afraid. Never. Not when his father had punished him, not when Mili threatened to leave, and not even when his Cassiel had died. This fire was far more terrifying than any of it. If he had a heart it would have stopped. He never liked fire, now his fear was far more controlling. He was made of wood after all.

With the bizarre living doll on the floor, eyes closed against the presence of the serpent that slowly approached him at the whim and curiosity of its master, Fino reached out to run a hand down one of Pravus's arms, a randomly possessive touch. It would also reassure him when the feline twitched or shivered that there were no lingering effects from what was apparently quite a potent Jack's ability.
"I am... interested," the Queen agreed, turning his attention to the trembling form. What an odd noise, little wooden clacks as he shivered. It really was made of wood. No wonder it feared fire. He allowed a sadistic smile to flit across his features before approaching, movements slow and unhurried. There was no easy escape. The only choices available to the creature were staying where he was, moving closer to Fino, or running towards Pravus. He wondered which would be chosen, especially with a burning serpent encircling the taller man's neck and another perhaps no more than two feet away from the bizarre man.
There was such potential for fear in this creature, despite its lifeless state. Unlike Pravus, he did not require physical pain or discomfort for his satisfaction. This pathetic thing's fear was quite enough. He summoned Marie with a thought and held her delicately. "Do you know what happens to trees?" he asked with a taunting smile. This creature was unfortunate enough to catch him in a 'playful' mood. He blamed the serpents. "They grow to a certain point, and then either burn to ash or are cut to the ground by a woodsman's axe. Which, do you think, will be your end? Seeing as you appear to be little more than a walking, talking, shivering tree."

Kazifel choked at the sound of the Queen's voice. His eyes snapped open suddenly as the man walked across the floor, slowly towards him. An axe.... he had an axe. And he was talking about Kazifel being a tree.
This was not going very well for the doll. Not in the least bit, and the snakes-fire THINGS were still around. He couldn't use his Jack ability. That, that wasn't good at all. He could shift wood but... did he have enough strength to do that?
The doll's eyes widened as he stared at the Queen invaded his personal bubble. He managed to find his voice though, and use it properly, or as close as he could to properly. "I-I know what happens to trees all t-t-too well. But I-I'm a bit more delicate than them. I-I'm afraid either m-m-method would be t-t-too quick for your satisfaction."
His eyes remained wide as he let out a small and weak whimper. He shouldn't be afraid of dying. He didn't even though if he could die properly. He should have been able to talk clearly. This. This was just so very bad.

Pravus' eyes lit up as he watched the exchange. Many times in the past he had seen his Queen in action, but this. Normally he wasn't so quietly gleeful about it all. A sparkle shined across the surface of his eyes, perhaps his own version of joy at watching Fino take it to this thing.
It was a pity he couldn't feel anything, but if his Queen gained some version of pleasure from the creature than it was still a good thing getting him to come to the palace. Pravus laughed as the doll quivered and shook.
He moved back to shut the door quietly and leaned against the wall, hooded eyes watching the spectacle. "My Queen." He asked very softly.
"Do you wish to have the Dungeon for yourself today?" He felt perhaps a little left out. But he'd gain no pleasure from this, besides watching the pleasure that Fino incured. But on his own with this thing, he'd be just as likely to let it go, just to chase it down again.
