He was lead the the roses without protest. The Feline seemed disappointed. It didn't really matter to Kazifel, he just noticed the way he walked was different. Special.
The roses were breath taking, if he had any breath that could be taken. A weak smile had come to his face, he didn't notice it. It was the memory of happiness. These flowers were more beautiful than he had ever seen. The doll could only imagine how soft they were, how nice they smelled. It wasn't enough to keep a smile on his face.
He looked to the feline and realized something. Kazifel was at this nameless man's mercy. He should have been more careful. Damn it. His eyes twitched as he took a few steps back. He couldn't get away. He was in the Palace of Hearts wasn't he. His eyes widened. Hearts. The Heart Girl. THE QUEEN OF HEARTS. He had to run. He had to escape.
Oh no. NO make it go away!
"I-I think I should go."

Pravus watched the briefest trace of happiness cross the strange dolls face and disappear almost as quickly. His 'smile' faltered a bit as his thoughts went dark and he watched the man perhaps a little too intently. "Do you like them?" He asked without emotion.
He watched as those eyes twitched, those fake eyes. Interesting, how they could twitch and not be made of flesh and bone. . . He blinked slowly as he realized that something had tipped off the Card in front of him.
"Go? Why ever for? There's a pond out back. . . it has fish." He spoke slowly, as if he could unspook Kazifel and keep him from running. "I really wanted you to meet my friend, or perhaps see my .. room." Yes, perhaps make him think he was coming on to him. Perhaps that would make him stay, the thought of some sort of intimacy.
"It's. . just in here." Suddenly the cat was a completely different person. A person that didn't want to be left, that was offering himself and would be hurt if refused. He didn't get to play like this often, it was sort of fun. Perhaps some real play of the sort he was hinting at might be fun, and make the torture so much more fun afterwards. Or perhaps. . he could manage to herd him towards his Queen. Either option was lovely.
"I . . I mean if you don't want to." His voice took on the very exact tone that his childhood caretaker used. Soft, unsure. . . tempting.

No. He didn't want to stay. The man was being sweet all of a sudden. It wasn't normal, no one was sweet to him. No one was this nice. It was unnatural! And he was in the palace of hearts! THE PALACE! His body physically twitched with his stress and discomfort. It was more of a shiver, but it came out as a twitch from the doll.
"No. NO! I don't think I should be here. I-I think I should go." He started backing up a few steps, only to stumbled a bit in his distress. He shook his head in distress. He wanted to cry, he wanted to run. He couldn't seem to walk properly though. The stress had been to much and he'd forgotten. He'd forgotten the paint. He had gotten this far but he hadn't really prepared himself for this.
He whimpered. The man sounded like Cassiel when she wanted something. "I think..." he choked on his words. What was this man going to do to him?

Pravus sneered when his trickery didn't work. Didn't matter really, he didn't expect it to. He growled and lunged towards the doll. If the blasted thing wouldn't com into the palace of his own volition well. . he'd just have to convince him to. Besides he seemed as if something was a little off. . a little weak perhaps.
He could almost feel the wood snapping beneath his clawed hands already, a real pity that the thing wouldn't be able to feel it. At least, maybe, he could hurt him in other ways. He'd still have his fun oh yes, he would. Besides his Queen would want to meet him, as different as he was.
It wasn't everyday a living, breathing, animated doll walked by.

Kazifel honestly didn't expect the feline to pounce on him. His first reflex was to yelp in surprise as was pinned down. The horribly cracking of his shoulder and arm was enough to make his head fill with panic. It was more than enough to make him go wide eyed and use his power. Loss was the only word that he could think of as he struggled to touch the Feline. He did, but he highly doubted his powers worked properly on a King.
Unfortunately for Kazifel he was far too weak to keep anything up. The numbness the feline was feeling was probably something he could ignore. "LET ME GO!" Kazifel screamed as he trashed. Really. The human from he had was highly impractical against a Feline biped who was tall with sharp pointy claws.
He growled. He really couldn't get away from this no matter what he did. If he could he would break the man. He deserved it. He let out another growl as he once again demanded his release. Why the hell did he have to come to the Highlands?

Pravus sneered as he layed paws upon the doll man. A rather satisfying crunch echoed around the courtyard but he was disappointed as it didn't elicit a scream. The reaction in the eyes was perhaps enough though, perhaps he could make him scream later.
A rush of numbness spread up Pravus' arms and he blinked rapidly, instinctively trying to tighten his grip. Why. . . could he feel his fingers? He shook the man in his hands until the sensation returned. "What the hell was that?" He sneered into that face. "Oh. .you want to play?"
The Queen really had to see him now, that was the most. . extraordinary if shortlived feeling. Complete loss of muscle control, interesting. "Perhaps I should show you off hum?" And with that Pravus started shoving and shuffling Kazifel into the palace. Flagging a guard on the way to alert the Queen to a 'visitor'.

This was not going well at all. He could only use that ability once a day, and the King had shaken it off in less time than he could have anticipated. This was a bad plan to begin with.
"Play" was a word that Kazifel hated hearing. It generally meant he was going to get hurt in some fashion. He wouldn't be able to feel the pain, but he would feel the mental whiplash of being treated like someone's toy. He shuddered to some degree as the thought passed his minded and he struggled in vain. Damn felines and their grabby hands.
"Let me go!" he demanded again, this time with the most vicious growl he could muster in his human form. "I'm not your plaything!" He trashed, but of course it didn't do much. This was so frustrating he wanted to take something sharp and shove it down that damn feline's throat. Damn, he was at the mercy of a man. That never ended well.

Fino was in his room, enjoying a quiet evening with his bander and his summons. Through practice and testing, he had determined that he could summon each of them once a week, with that week resetting one week after the very first time he ever summoned them. That having been conveniently on a week-end day, he could always remember when it was nearly up. If he hadn't summoned them by the day before, he always made a point of doing so that night.
Corliss had been called three days before but the other two, burning with orange-yellow and orange-red flames, had eagerly awaited their weekly visit. They swirled slowly through the air now, the smaller yellow-flamed serpent twisting playful circles around its much larger companion. Sultana watched them from below, occasionally trying to swipe at one when it got too close but otherwise leaving them well enough alone.
At a knock on the door, Fino answered and raised his eyebrows as the guard informed him of an arrival coming his way shortly, Pravus and another man in human form. He nodded and sent the man on his way, moving back into the room but leaving the door open in invitation. The small yellow snake coiled itself around his neck playfully, the spot a favorite of theirs, while the other made its slow way up and around the room.

Pravus continued to shove Kazi, forwards. Alternately grabbing him and forcing him forwards and pushing him roughly, catching up to him before he could regain his footing. An amusing thought drifted through Pravus' mind. What if he were to let him go? Let him run a few metres before grabbing him again?
He nearly roared with laughter. Yes! Let him think he had escaped only to take away his hope again. Oh so very yes, he'd have to play that game with one of his visitors someday. Maybe even torture them a bit and make it seem as if the bindings came undone by accident. A pleasurable shiver drifted through his body at the idea.
"Oh. . I don't feel like it." He made a fake pouting face. "Not before you meet my Queen." He hissed into the human's ears. "We're not going to hurt you.. much. . . Not that you'd feel it. Shame really."
Pravus watched the human with interest as they continued down the hall. "You know. . . I'm just a little curious about who you are." He sneered with teeth, before laughing. "Innocent curiousity."
