Rai was rather surprised by the easy camaraderie that just seemed to naturally spring up between Theofilus and himself, but it was nice and simply to chitchat as they came into the small village. It really wasn't much of a town, though it was slowly expanding now that their tour guide business was doing the same; travelers were beginning to see their little village as a destination and not just a pass-through spot. Rai couldn't help but pause as they reached the edge to survey the area briefly, pride evident across his features. He loves this town, the Marsh; everything.

The stallion gave his partner a nod and turned to the sparrow with a grin, "Well, we've made it nice and safe," he observed lightly. "I hope you enjoyed the travel back, at least, and thank you again for the delivery. If you're ever in the area again, please come by."

Well that was a rude question, now wasn't it? The sparrow's feathers puffed up rather than him having an actual response. He knew full well why he didn't propose, and he wasn't about to tell a stranger such a thing. The bird was offended, but he wasn't about to open his mouth in front of a customer.

He was happy when they reached the village. Thankfully they had made it there without event. "Thank you for your help, and I hope you use West Lakes Shipping in the future," the sparrow smiled and gave a bow to say goodbye. It was nice to know that he had a customer that was pleasant, unlike so many of the high ranking nobles that he had the pleasure of doing business with. Hopefully he would use the shipping service again. Even though he had no thoughts of returning to the marsh, he may actually go out of his way to make another business trip here.
