"Oh really! That is quite fortunate! My friend's son came in here earlier...says they were flying off the shelves!...So to speak. You must be doing wonderful buisness!" she spoke easily with the man, to excited by the prospect of getting a Bander (and the one she wanted no less!) to be timid like usual. She looked over at Tavor, a little wiggle from her tail showing her pleasure. "She is quite the beauty!"
"Do you think she will get along with other Banders?" her eyes looked pleading as she hoped that the Bander would be compatible with Rhossy. It would be horrible if they didn't get along..."Or do you think she would grow to get along with another one?"
Acheron looked at some of the collars that hung from the walls and such...trying to get an idea of what exactly he wanted for the bright yellow girl. She struggled with the small leash that she had come with to leave the store, taking a small moment to hook it to an antler. She certainly would need something durable...and strong...she seemed to be...willful...
"Maybe a Brown leather? Something strong and durable anyway, doesn't matter much what color I suppose...and a tag that wont rub out easily...so that people will be able to know where shes to be returned...if lost..."

Ashwin looked over at the little pink bander, who stared right back at him, seemingly unphased by all the activity. She put on quite the cool front, didn't she? "I have a feeling that she'd get along with more passive banders, but it would be a fight for dominance with the current head of your household. She doesn't seem the type to sit down and take direction. She may be smaller than some of the beefy things, but she's got more fire than her coloring might suggest. A pushy girl around other banders, from what I can tell."

Ilana nodded a bit, a little worried. How passive was Rhossy? Would this prove to be a bad idea? She looked over at Tavor then back at Ashwin, "What is acceptable behavior for stating dominance? When should I intervine if they are fighting? My friend has one at home...he says you sold her to him. I wouldn't want either of them to get hurt." she said, genuinely worried about both of the Banders wellbeing. After all...Maeve was beautiful...and boy did she want her...but if it would threaten Rhossy's life...well...maybe it wasn't worth it.
It was just socializing the two of them together...maybe that could be arranged...but what would happen if they hated eachother at first sight? "What do you think Tavor? Do you think Rhossy and her would be ok?" she DID want to be a responcible owner anyway.
She couldn't help but look at the rather confident girl across the way...boy would she be great to own. She just seemed briming with the will to please! Of course...while pleasing herself to...she could definately see the smarts behind her eyes.

He was content to sit back and let her handle her own affairs, but he was listening and jotting down mental notes for later. His feather tipped tail twitched a bit when he was asked a question, but he wasn't worried about this bander in the least ... she didn't sound so bad.
As long as nothing gets between her and her food Rhoswyn is fine ... I wonder though ...
He peered at the door briefly before turning his attention to Ashwin directly.
What's the green that I saw the boy leave with earlier like?
He wouldn't be surprised if the boy hadn't asked, that was part of why he'd wanted to go with him in the first place but he'd been to happy to see the boy show some initiative in something to really argue with him, he'd just have to ask now and see how things would have to be rearranged later.
I'd also like to get him a nice white leash and collar set .... with a bell ... if I could.

"There will probably be a lot of sneezing, a lot of coughing, and I wouldn't be surprised at a few shrieks and generally unpleasant sounds when they have a confrontation." He watched the pink female proceed to ignore them both and groom a spot on her back. "They're hardy little things. I wouldn't worry about permanent injury. The domesticated banders really don't have the drive to kill one another like wild ones sometimes do. You might have to deal with some noise and a little bit of blood in the meantime, though. It's natural."
The green... the tabby? "Eh, nothing really out of the ordinary with his personality. He seemed the type to get possessive, but he didn't have anything to possess. That kid's probably got a guardian for life, though. Might let others touch it once it becomes attached, might not."

Ilana allowed for all the information to process in her mind for a bit. Well...it sounded like...potentially, once the two got over the 'Hey your new and in my territory' bit...they might actually get along a great deal. The idea put a small smile on her face. She liked the mental image of Tavor and Her walking their two banders together around the capital...maybe stopping at a park so they could watch the two play together. She blushed a bit, realizing she probably looked pretty aloof. She really was a bit of a romantic wasn't she? "Well, if what you say is true...then I will take her for sure! I'll just keep an eye on her and see how the banders all get along. Would you mind horribly if I stopped by in the future with questions? I'd like to keep a connection." she said with a bit of a smile. It was not that she didn't believe Tavor could help her...but...well...being on good terms with the person who sold you something always seemed to be a good idea to her. You never know when you might have a question only he could answer...or if she needed to rebuy supplies.
Which reminded her, "Oh! And I'd also like to by a Leash, Bell, and Collar...maybe a nice Cremey or rich brown color...to go with the dusty rose color...maybe a golden bell if you happen to have one thats inexpencive? She looks like the one to have something delicate and refined." she said with a small giggle, as the Bander so regally groomed herself. She was so excited she could burst!

(( Sera and I talked about this last night but we were thinking of doing Grindle/Piper ... maybe that? I also have Rhossy's redraw but you can put that if you want .... with a black collar/leash/bell combo ..... <3 ))

((This is not the one slot mentioned :3)) 14 years old seemed like an appropriate time to treat herself to something fun, Raina had decided. She wanted a pet before she headed off to make her presence known in the Spades court, some companion that would keep her company on the nights when she felt homesick. A Bandersnatch seemed the ideal candidate, and so it was with a wide smile that she stepped into the shoppe. The young human brushed her hair out of her eyes as she looked around the shoppe. There were no Banders avaliable, but she read a sign that proclaimed that the man could contact local breeders to find what any customer was looking for. Well, that was certainly a lucky event! The teen moved to the front of the shoppe, giving the mustelid that sat there a beaming smile. " Excuse me, sir?" she called out, voice light and musical as she leaned on the counter. Her purple eyes flashed amusement. " I've got a rather specific Bander in mind, do you think you might be able to help me find her?" |
