Eilwyn shrugged, "You could just touch me or speak to me. Not many people sit on the fountain like I do. People tend to be stuffed shirts about getting wet." The eagle could have laughed if his statement wasn't so horribly true. "See you tomorrow."
There was no point in making him stay out late and having his parents worry about him. That was just silly, wasn't it? Eilwyn felt his brother's hand release it's grip. With that the eagle stood up and searched for his brother's hand. "I'm sorry you came out all this way Zane...." he began.
His brother placed a hand on each of his shoulders. He knew from how tense they were that Zane was worried. He didn't need to say a word. Eilwyn just hardly expected the hug, as welcome as it was. "Just stop scaring me like that, okay?"
"Okay...."
