When Vessie came to talk to him he was a little surprised. “Actually, do you mind staying for just a moment longer? This is Majida and her son Aeron. They will be staying in one of the rooms above and she will be working around the gallery-shop as well. If you have a moment I would like to introduce you to each other.”
He took in the ferret for a moment. It appeared that she seemed to feeling overwhelmed. It was something that she was going to have to get over though. While it was not always busy in the small shops there were moments when it became crowded. She would probably need some time to adjust and it would help her out in the end, especially if she planned on staying in the Capital.
“I suppose we could have you see how things happen around her later this evening and have you start tomorrow or the day afterwards.” Turning to greet the bird and her son who entered, he clapped his hands once in merriment. “Maji! It is great to see you. Come in, come in. You have excellent timing. Majida this is Vessatha, Vessatha this is Majida."

Maji smiled and nodded her head as Aeron and herself both greeted the stallion. "Aderlass is giving me a job and a place to stay.” She smiled but at the same time, she was disappointed. She would miss living with Ashwin and she knew that Aeron would miss being around all of the banders all of the time as well.
Maji turned her attention to the mouse and smiled as she took note of the ferret, "Wonderful to see you again Aderlass!” She then turned to the ferret “It's nice to meet you. Will you also be staying upstairs?” Maji could be considered rude for her nosiness but at the same time, she just really did not know any better.
Aeron on the other hand was looking around the shop at some of the gold chain necklaces that were scattered about the shop. It seemed he had inherited his mother’s appreciation for jewelry, though it defiantly was not as bad as some other people.

Rai gave a low laugh, and shot Aderlass another amused look. Not surprising in the least, though he was pleased for Maji and Aeron to have a place to stay. He hadn't had much of a chance to get to know the woman, but he found himself always enjoying her presence. Though... she made no note of his new rank. Ah, well, that was a good shot of humility. The stallion pulled his cloak back around him and waved good-bye to catch his friend's attention.
"I need to get back to the Court," he said quietly, though it was unlikely that anyone could not hear him. He wasn't being blatant, but he did really need to go. "Just wanted to let you know, Aderlass." He couldn't stop another quick grin before he addressed the others. "Maji, Aeron, it was a pleasure seeing you both again. I hope that we have more of a chance to do so in the future. Vessatha, it was nice to meet you. Good luck working for this crazy slave driver." He winked once at his friend and then, in a swirl of his deep blue cloak, the stallion was gone.

Vessatha paused, then nodded. "Sure," She replied, then paused and turned to the bird and her child after they were introduced with a smile. "Hello, it's nice to meet you! Yes, I will, but only until I get an apartment."
The ferret waited as the rest of the pleasantries were exchanged before nodding to everyone around her. She started a bit when Shinrai spoke to her once more, as she hadn't been expecting it, but managed a quick, "Thanks, I'll try." and a small smile. She wasn't shy (really!) generally, but strangers generally made her nervous, and so she didn't particularly feel like talking to most of the people in the room just yet. Aderlass, Majida and Aeron she would likely be getting to know in the future, but she had no idea how often Whip would drop by.. so was a little mor quiet with him than the rest.
After giving a brief goodbye to Majida and working out her schedule with Aderlass, she took her leave and went out into the city in search of an apartment.
