Calia nodded to the two women and flushed slightly, leading them into the small cafe and to a seat located near a window and the piano. "Not at all... I'm ever so lucky to have such wonderful company tonight, it's the least I can do.[/b]" They had an incredible view of the young fox who would be playing for them. She was currently talking to another group of people, but as soon as their small group entered she glanced up and smiled broadly at Calia, giving a polite nod to Dilis and Parvana. Her eyes lingered for just a moment on the butterfly, a coy (but somewhat shy) smile touching her muzzle.
Once they were seated, the sparrow nodded to herself, making a mental note of what the two wanted, and excused herself. "I'll be back in just a minute with those drinks. Please, if you think of anything else you'd like, don't hesitate to let me know. You're my guests tonight.[/b]" she said with a smile.
It was only a minute, and the woman returned with the drinks, placing the glass in front of Dilis and a small pot of hot water and mug in front of Parvana, pouring the tea in a practiced motion. She pulled up a seat for herself and sat just as the fox did, and it was only a moment before music filled the room. The sparrow seemed to bask in it as she sipped at her own drink, then glanced at the pair. "Tell me about yourselves.. Do you live here in the capital?[/b]"

Vana always seemed to settle so easily into these warm little cafe settings. If only she didn't attract so much attention, she would've ventured into them more often. As it was she knew that many eyes had already found her and she tried hard to ignore them all...
Except, maybe, the gaze of the fox.
Vana had briefly caught that coy smile and found herself fighting to focus on her companions at the table instead of the intriguing female on the other side of the room.
When Calia returned with the drinks, Vana stirred her tea and breathed in the warm scent wafting from it. "Thank you, Calia." Her wings fluttered a little before settling comfortably out of the way. The music was nice, the company doubly so. "I don't. Not at the moment, at least. I would like to say I will eventually be moving here, but that isn't for some time now... Or, rather, it won't be until I locate my uncle."
Oh well. All good things came with patience and persistence. She would find Toli eventually.

Dilis followed after Calia and Parvana cheerfully. She loved the night life and going out to meet exciting new people. She sat down next to Paravana and smiled brightly at them both.
"Oh Calia, that is terribly sweet of you". She noticed the fox and smiled back aloofly, have not idea the brief look she gave to Parvana. As Calia returned with the drinks she took hers and thanked her graciously.
"The Capital? No no, I live in Avington with my Father though I do spend quite a bit of time in Capital City. It is so fun and I always find a new spot to explore because it is so big. I have explored every part of Avington so far so it is nice to get out when I can. How about you Calia? Do you live in the Capital?" she asked politely. She was comfortable with this sparrow because it was apparent that she had been taught good manners and Dilis always appreciated that.

When the woman spoke, Calia leaned forward slightly in her seat, clearly interested in everything they had to say. Socializing had always been one of her favored pasttimes, and her position at the cafe was the perfect one in order to do that - it had, however, only been recently that the woman had the self-confidence to socialize outside of a social situation like this one, and her companions were exactly what she needed to build more of that confidence. She smiled slightly.
"I do, in fact, live here... I moved a few years back, before the birth of my third daughter. Before that, I lived in Kahmden, but often traveled to the Lakes.[/b]" the woman smiled cheerfully. Those were truely good memories to her, but her life was much simpler now that her children were grown and she lived in the capital. "I've never been to Avington... But I've heard stories of it being a place of great beauty,[/b]" she mused.
Intrigued, she turned to the butterfly, feathers fluffing with interest as she set down her drink. "Uncle? Perhaps I could be of assistance.. As I said, I've lived here for many years now, and even if I don't know him, I have friends who might.[/b]"

Parvana watched that cheerful little smile spread over Calia's features and couldn't help but return the expression. She was a motherly sort of personality, that was for sure, and Parvana was happy to see it. Though, Parvana couldn't help but find her mind wandering, it was far more likely that it wasn't entirely the thought of children which made her smile so fondly when she mentioned the Lakes.
"I'm so ashamed, I've never really gotten to see any of those places. I was raised in Corvistowne, though a little out of the way of the city proper, where there was a bit more room to grow gardens and the like. My father was Morganberry, he missed his trees." The butterfly fluttered her wings a bit, before smiling brightly at her two new friends. "I really must say, all his wonder for forests has me longing to get a glimpse of your home towns."
She giggled briefly before hesitating to hear Calia out. Oh!? If she could help than that would be so very very helpful! "He's a Morganberry canine with small bat-like wings. He's a real friendly sort, popular with everyone he meets. All the social nerve that I seem to lack, really. His name is Anatolius...if you've ever heard talk of him?"

Dilis was glad she had decided to come out tonight, both women were equally kind and hopefully after tonight she will have made two more friends. All she really had was Matthew and since he was male, Father sometimes refused her to see him. It was sad really, but it was also what was proper and right so she understood.
"Oh my, daughters? I would love to have a few daughters... Oh wait! Did you say Kahmden? I have some friends from Kahmden! Do you know of Mori and Ceren? They were wonderful young women and I enjoyed meeting them very much." She smiled remembering the encounter, they were both kind to her and Mori even let her spend the day with her. She realized she had spoken so much and she kind of blushed when Calia spoke of her home.
"Well yes, I think it is quite beautiful though not many people get to experience it unfortunately..."
Trailing off she paid attention to the music and let it sync into her. She always felt it in a different place, a place that calmed her when she was worried or upset... it really was what she needed most.

Calia smiled openly at Parvana, considering the woman's words for a moment. Faces flickered by in her mind, but none of them seemed to match Parvana's description and she sighed a little sadly. "Hmmm... I can't say I've ever met him, sadly. I have friends who might be of more help to you there, if you're interested.[/b]" Theofilus knew many people in the Capital, and Rogers might be able to track the Morganberry canine down if they ended up needing it... The woman leaned forward ever so slightly.
"However, if you're interested in visiting the Forest sometime...[/b]" her expression brightened slightly. The idea in her mind was a delightful one. "I would be more than happy to act as a guide to you.[/b]"
Her attention was pulled away from that train of thought rather abrubtly by what Dilis next said, laughing delightedly and clapping her hands together. "What a strange coincidence![/b]" she chirped. "Mori and Ceren are my daughters! I'm so happy to hear that you enjoyed their company, it tells me I did a good job as their mother.[/b]"

Parvana smiled thankfully, expecting the answer already. No one had seemed to have encountered Toli yet, but that was very much alright. She would find him eventually, may it be sooner or later, and that Calia wanted to help at all was wonderful. "That is quite alright, Calia. That, however, would be lovely. If anyone knows anything of him I'd be entirely grateful, though you don't have to go out of your way."
Vana leaned in lightly as Calia did, eyes widening a little with a hint of excitement. Travel would be exceedingly lovely... "A trip to the Forest would be wonderful, Calia! I'd love that!"
When the woman's attention shifted once more, Parvana settled back into her seat with a happy smile and listened to the music play as Dilis and Calia spoke. She seemed like such a proud, loving mother and that was quite delightful in Vana's opinion. She would love to be a mother someday.

"Your daughters! Why, that is a most pleasing coincidence. I haven't seen either of them for the longest time, please send my regards to them; I hope to run into them again sometime because from what I could tell... she you did a wonderful job as a mother" she gushed. She could not believe how small a world it was to have met Mori and Ceren's mother. Of course it made sense now that she realized how much they looked alike.
She smiled widely and hummed along to the music, this place was delightful. She really did need to get herself over here more often, though Father probably would not approve if he knew. That was alright though because Dilis always found ways around that. Her birthday was coming up soon so perhaps he would bend the rules just this once.
Sipping on her cup, she realized she was now out of beverage. "Excuse me for a moment ladies, I am going to get some more to drink. Would either of you like something?"
