Eilwyn was more than happy to get a hug. They were one of his favorite things since he had been five years old. Not like he was willing to admit that to anyone now that he was a bit older. Of course, that wasn't here or there.
The eagle was happy to hear that Dad could come over anytime. It definitely made things easier. The eagle took a deep breath as he sat down and made himself comfortable.
He was slightly confused by the wink and Ez's returned wink. What exactly had they gone shopping for...?
"Things went well... I guess. The person I was making the figures for was pretty picky about what they wanted and didn't want. Honestly I don't understand why people say one thing and mean another." He sighed. People were... scary. That would never change. "On the bright side I won't have to see them ever again. Unless they decide they want something else."
Zane decided to interrupt. "Shall we order something Lady and Gents?"

At his comment about his customers giving him issues she gave his knee a reassuring light squeeze under the table. It really did make tick her off and make her upset that other people could affect him this way. She knew it was something that would not really change - from the stories she had heard the fear had been changed quite drastically - but it never stopped being something that she wished she could completely alleviate for him. Or at the very least she wished there was something more that she could do about it other then to offer him her support.
"Oh yes, lets!" She replied to Zane happily, her stomach deciding then to give a slight rumbling in its protest of hunger, which she hid with a blush. "I was thinking about getting something with fish, wot do you think?" She asked turning to Wyn.

Eilwyn greatly appreciated Elyse's support. Even if she couldn't grasp why he was so terrified of people, she at least made him feel better about himself as a person. She was honestly one of the best people to walk into his life. Maybe one day he would be able to tell her without stumbling over himself.
.... fat chance.
"Fish is always a good idea. They have pretty large portions here... maybe we can share?" He offered to Elyse.
Meanwhile Ez was browsing through the menu and trying his hardest not to smirk. They were such a cute couple together and he honestly wanted to make fun of them. But it was a little harder with Eilwyn... sometimes things went over his head or he took it to seriously. The sparrow nearly squawked when Zane elbowed him.
The bat winged sparrow tried not to roll his eyes. Honestly, Ez could never control himself.

Taking ahold of his hand, she smiled up at him. "That works out perfectly! Are we getting a dessert as well?" Since she was sharing a meal with him she should have room for something sweet but it was completely up to him. Either way worked for her.
Now content that everything had been decided on her end. She glanced across the table at the other two brothers. She saw the end result of their previous joking, Ez now intently studying his menu and Zane rolling his eyes moving his arm back to his side. Curious as to what had just passed between the two brothers she raised an eyebrow. Glancing from one to the other she found that she was not going to be given a satisfactory answer.
"So, wot do you two think you will have?" She asked them curiously deciding to change the topic.

Eilwyn nodded at the idea of dessert there was always room for that sort of thing when sharing a meal. He couldn't say no. "That sounds like a great idea."
"I'm just having the soup," Zane replied.
The other sparrow hesitated for a moment. He couldn't quite decide what he wanted. Maybe he should go with something light. "A salad would be a good idea. I do have to keep my figure some how."
Zane couldn't help but snort at the comment. His brother was such a diva sometimes it hurt. He had to wonder about Ez's gender every once and a while.
Eilwyn couldn't help but grin at Ez's comment. He really had some wonderfully weird siblings. He would have said something if it wasn't for the waitress who came over to the table. She took their orders and hurried off to fulfill all the requests.

Yay, the two of them were going to get dessert as well!
"You are more then aware that you have a wonderful figure Ez, I am sure that you have nothing to worry about." She replied waving aside his concern. Leaning forward she whispered in a lower tone, though the others would clearly be able to hear her. "I will even tell you a secret, sometimes I am even jealous of you fine figure" She gave a small wink, grinning at him as if they were sharing an inside joke.
She leaned back allowing the others to place all of the orders. Once the waitress had taken their orders she looked between the three brothers, for some reason not sure what to do with the situation now. It was not that she felt uncomfortable - she never did in their company - rather she was not sure what conversation to start.

Ez couldn't help but laugh at the comment before. "Oh Elyse, you have a slight figure in comparability to mine, but that's the best sort of compliment you could give." The sparrow manage to stuff down his laughter so he could order.
In the awkward pause, Zane cleared his throat. "So, before we discuss the weather maybe we should come up with a good topic of conversation that we can all participate in." The bat wing sparrow paused only briefly. "I heard that Dad was planning to have a family get together so we could all see each other. That's probably why he wants to meet Elyse for more than five minutes."
Eilwyn blinked a few extra times as he stared at Zane. The Family never really managed to stay in one place at one time. He hadn't seen Miss Calia or Miss Kelasia recently or Honker... everyone had been so busy.
Ez clapped his hands together. "If Dad really is doing that and Elyse is coming along that means we can introduce her to Ceren. Because I'm sure that's the only member of the family she hasn't run into."

At Zane's comment about why Wyn's dad might want to meet her for more then five minutes she became nervous. From the few times that she had met their dad before he had seemed nice enough but what would happen if he did not like her?
Trying to brush off her nervousness, she gave Wyn's hand a slight squeeze, before saying softly. "Considering just how big your family is, I am pretty sure that has to be other members which I have not met yet." She knew that she had never met this Ceren but she had also never met their mother or any of their other siblings.
Now that she thought about it, just how big was this family? Having grown up with eight other siblings, two mothers and two fathers, a large family was not unknown to her. It simply had just been a while since she had spent time with so many people who were still close.

"I don't know. Of family seems to know your Dad pretty well. We might surprise you," Ez said jokingly as he placed his chin on his hands once again. This was a nice outing, he needed to be less of a hermit. Of course after so much frustration of planning other people's parties and events he could only go on so many family outings without exploding.
Zane waved a hand at his brother. "I'm pretty sure she hasn't met Mori either. Not to mention there's all our extended family. Getting them to the party in the first place is going to be a challenge. Plus there will be children bouncing around."
Eilwyn felt the squeeze on his hand and softly squeezed back. There was nothing really she had to worry about. His family was friendly (to some degree) and Dad was mostly harmless. It's not like Elyse was the type of person to get on someone's bad side. He smiled at her, hoping she would understand that everything would be fine. He would just stumble over his words if he tried to speak now.
Ezekiel, in the meanwhile, was squeeing about being an Uncle and playing dress up.

She was not sure what to make of Ez's comment about her dad. She had never been aware that the male knew him. Then again something told her that she did not want to know about just how they met. Contrary to what most people seemed to think, sometimes were better off unknown.
Feeling the returned squeeze she glanced up at Wyn, giving him a smile to show that everything was alright now. It had only been a momentary fear. After all his brothers liked her. Not to mention the simple pressure on her hand reminded her that Wyn would be at her side, therefore she would be able to face anything thrown her way.
Turning to Zane she asked, "Just how big is your family, everyone included?" She was not asking for an exact number of people, an estimation would do just fine.
