Heilyn nodded. That sounded about everything useful she was going to get out of Xiven. She'd hoped that knowing what Peaches was doing in the Highlands could pinpoint a general location, but it didn't. (except for perhaps implying she was somewhere shady... but even then, if one was good at what one does, then really one could hide in plain sight in the nicer places just as easily as the less savory parts of the world)
To the servants, then. Ashley and Drew the Gardener. Hmm. She liked to keep track of the servants at a distance. Knowing who served your food was always a good thing. However, she'd been told multiple times that her "attitude was problematic". Heilyn didn't see what was wrong with it, save for the fact that it didn't cater to the precious snowflake complex these non-Boggies had. Still, it would be coulnter productive to her safety to piss them off too badly. She'd have to do some snooping to remind herself which one was Ashley, if there was only one of those. Keep track of people at a distance was hard.
"May I ask which department of the staff Ashley works in?"

It took Xiven a few moments to remember what Ashley actually did. She personally had never dealt with the woman. Or man. They were pretty bloody androgynous. "They happen to work in the kitchens," She said with a small shrug. "I'll tell you now I'm not really sure of their gender. I have never met a person so gender neutral before. Even their voice is iffy."
Xiven paused to look at Heilyn with a small smile. "Any more questions before you go? The moment you walk out the door your Quest begins. So if you want to say anything before you leave you might as well put it on the table."
The feline was confident that the Heilyn could complete this quest without complications. She doubted that anyone would give the woman trouble even no matter if Peaches was in the shady parts of the Highlands or the upper class.

Heilyn nodded. If there were other Ashleys in the kitchens, she'd be able to pick out the right one out from the information she had. A few more questions came to mind.
"Do you have any information on the Broker? Perhaps whereabouts the Highlands he or she could be found? Name, gender, suit, breed, region?" Heilyn assume Highland or Highland mix, but she wanted to make no mistakes. She wasn't sure how much she could actually get in the way of information, but it certainly didn't hurt to ask.
Heilyn was always confident in her ability, but her arrogance often butted heads with her paranoia. What if something arose to complicate things and delay her?

Xiven made a satisfied noise. These were good questions, and she truly wished she had a proper answer for them. She could only provide a little bit of information on what her mother had said in passing. Which honestly wasn't much. The woman rarely spoke of what she did in her job, she mostly just gave Xiven or the other nobles results in a report. Her mother had a good deal of scatter connections through the Highlands and who knew where else. And Heaven only knew what she did to get them.
"I know he is part Highlander, and from what I remember... he smokes like a chimney. Mom always complains about how she can't properly get the smell off for a while." Xiven tapped a finger on the desk. The fact that a Highlander had a dirty habit such as smoking would probably give him away in a large crowd of people if he did it publicly. Highlanders didn't like to sully themselves after all.

Heilyn paused for a bit, waiting patiently in what most others would refer to as an awkward silence. When the length of the pause became such that it was obvious that was all she was going to get from the woman during that round of questions, Heilyn nodded. That was really not much to work with. Still, every little bit to narrow it down helped. Time to build off what she did have.
"Does he smoke anything in particular?" It sounded stupid, but it might serve to help her pick him out and not confuse him for another smoker. "Also, you wouldn't happen to have a name or public alias for the man, would you?" she doubted it, but it didn't hurt to ask. She couldn't imagine there would be anything more she could get out of this. Alright then, after this: androgynous Ashley, kitchens; then Drew in the gardens.

The awkward silence was indeed awkward, and Xiven only looked up from her finger tapping when the woman spoke again. At least Heilyn was willing to search for every last option before making a decision. The Queen smiled.
"Tobacco. At least that's what mom smells like when she comes back from talking to him." Xiven gave a small little shrug. "Mother never really calls her contacts by name in front of me. His calling card was pretty generic and had something to do with cats. Nothing all that original unfortunately. I'm afraid that's all the information I have..."
She gave a slight frown. It wasn't much to go on, but the woman could manage. And then something popped into her head. "Oh! I do remember something strange about the contact. He seems to be fond of maid servants... you know, scantily clad woman who serves tea?" It was a strange piece of information that may or may have served any use.

[I'm really sorry... I just haven't really been in the mood to reply to anything that requires thought. >> ]
Heilyn nodded. That truly did seem like that was all she was going to get out of Xiven. Still, she had a lead to go off of.
"Alright. Thank you, Xiven. I will see you again in 2 days," she said, nodding her head respectfully before leaving. Some descriptive stuff to make my word count go up should probably go here, describing her walk down to find the servants mentioned would here, but it's all good. My OOC comments got me covered. <3
After various things happened that would require more description, Heilyn found on of the servants.
"Ashley, is it? May I have a word, please?" Heilyn asked, assuming the other person in this thread will RP the NPC.
[......so I'm dead serious when I say this is the best I could come up with right now. XD I officially nominate it for the Worst RP Post on the Board Award. I just want to get this over with so I don't feel like a dick RPing Heilyn as a Queen. ]

Xiven nodded, "Good luck." She watched as the woman left the room. Hopefully she'd be able to find the other woman without too much trouble. Her mom did have the habit of skillfully disappearing when she wanted to.
Ashley was a rather cheerful fellow. If one could guess gender, at first glance they may have decided Ashely was a girl. At second they may have reconsidered. At third... they gave up and went with a gender neutral pronoun. The man was busily working when Heilyn appeared.
He turned around with a pleasant smile. What on earth would one of the nobles want with him? He brushed down his neatly designed uniform a bit before speaking. "Of course Your Highness, how can I help you today?" [/color] The voice was somewhere between male and female, as if it couldn't decide which was better. The man waited for the question with a bright toothy smile.

Heilyn gave a slight smile as a gesture of politeness. For a moment she was almost curious enough to care which sex this servant was. Almost.
"I heard that you often speak with Her Excellence Peaches. I am on orders from The Queen to find her. Would you happen to know where about in the Highlands she's run off to?" At first she thought using The Queen's outranking of everyone as leverage would get as much information out of the servant, but then she remembered that if a servant didn't much care for a noble, they always had the power to play dumb. Hmm. Well, Xiven didn't mistreat the servants, so perhaps her rashness would bite her in the ass. If anything, Heilyn herself could probably stand to be a little politer.
"Any help would be appreciated."

The man blinked a few extra times at the statement. So the Queen of Hearts wanted to find Peaches and she was sending Her Highness Heilyn to do it? Well then, that was a surprise. He wasn't about to hesitate telling the woman. She was utterly terrifying.
"She's went to Rover's Inn about two or so hours away from here. She was complaining about having to deal with some informant there." He gave a small shrug. "She normally doesn't tell me details, so that's all I really know."
And Peaches had mentioned something about being humiliated, but there was no point in stating that. He didn't want to get in trouble later with the woman. She could make things overly complicated when it came down to it. Then again, Heilyn could probably snap his neck like a twig.
"Is there anything else you need to know, Your Highness?"
