Rover's Inn... had she been there before? Probably not. She wasn't very fond of the Highlands and didn't visit if she could help it.
"Do you know what kind of place Rovers Inn is?" It was an inn, but maybe some form of themed inn? "And do you know where I can find a gardener named Drew at this hour?" Might as well exhaust all possible options before heading out.

"I've never been there," the man said with a small shrug. "But I heard a rumor that it was a themed in and all the women who worked there dressed in costume. Something scandalous, I'm sure."
His rumor was quite correct. The small inn was indeed themed, and also had a nice section of it devoted to a bar and grill of sorts. All of the female and male employees, however few there were, had to dress in proper costumes for their clients.
He raised an eyebrow at the mention of Drew. "I imagine, Your Highness, he would be in the garden shed. If he's not there he's probably tending to the north garden. Is there anything else I could possibly help you with ma'am?"
There was nothing else he could really tell her. Drew would be in the garden shed getting ready to tend to the various fussy plants and roses that littered the palace.

"Do you happen to know where the Rover's Inn is?," Heilyn asked. The Rover's Inn, judging from what Xiven and the... person in front of her said, sounded like a safe bet. Should she just head off? Two hours. It was likely it might take that long to even get to the Inn itself, and who knows how long Peaches' meeting with this broker would last? Who knows how far Peaches would go when it was over?
When she got her answer, she thanked the servant and walked off, looking for Drew. It wouldn't take long for her to double check. The went to the Gardens.
"Excuse me," she said to the first gardener in sight, "Could you tell me where I can find Drew?"

The rather queer man gave her the directions that he knew before she departed. He also explained that Drew would know better directions to the place in question.
Before the gardener could reply, Drew had already emerged from the garden shed with all of his supplies. His ears had perked at the mention of his name, and he didn't hesitate to make himself known. "I'm Drew, is there something you want, Your Highness?" the rather tall bipedal canine replied. He didn't seem like the friendliest person, but perhaps that was the general air of "grumpy old man" that he seemed to be radiating.
Either way he would help Heilyn would little protest, as the grumpy old man was actually rather friendly. He would answer all her questions to the fullest extent of his knowledge, and he would offer any of his services to help her complete her assigned task.

[Sorry for this being crappy. Firefox decided to close down right as I was posting. >> ] Sunny. It had to be sunny. Even after all these years, sun was still something Heilyn only tolerated because she had to. She looked at the old man who'd approached her. He didn't look terribly kind, but far be it from Heilyn actually caring. She was here for information, not for a friendly chat. Besides, if he were a friend of Peaches', there was probably more to him than meets the eye. "Yes, I was informed that you might be able to help me. I was sent by Her Majesty to find Her Excellence, Peaches. I've been informed that she had left the Court grounds earlier today. Would you perhaps know where she's slunk off to?" She kept her wording as ambiguous as possible, leaving out that she'd already asked someone else. Would the information match up? What was she doing telling servants and not Nobles where she runs off to, anyway? Well, if there was anyone in this court to be friends with, Peaches would know.

The canine raised an eyebrow as she looked at the bog dweller. So the new Queen of Hearts wanted to find Peaches? That sounded odd considering he thought that the Queen had sent her off in the first place. Not like he really kept track of all those thing. "Well she went to do a job at some Inn not too far off. Meeting with some one." The gardener shrugged. "That's all I really know about it. She seemed fairly annoyed that she had to "dress up" for the occasion. She also had to stop off to buy cigarettes or something for the person she was meeting."
The man twirled the flower pot in his hand. "I can give you directions to the place, but beyond that I don't know anything about what she was doing. She does that vague crazy lady thing she's notorious for around the palace. She just likes to talk to me because I used to live in the same town she did, but she never tells anyone the whole story."

Heilyn smirked. Peaches had to get "dressed up", huh? With what she'd heard about this place, Heilyn very much hoped to find her sometime today. Her interest seemed touched at the mention of just a bit of Peaches' history. Did he mean he grew Peaches growing up? She'd have to dig later.
"I'd love those directions." As soon as she got them, she headed off.
~mini-time skip~
The carriage dropped her off and she walked, following the directions in hand... Rover's Inn, a smiling maid servant outside. Yep, looked like the place. Then headed in.

The inside of the tavern was brightly lit with a variety of Corvie lights, and there were quite a few people hurrying around. All the staff members were clearly identifiable by their rather elaborate outfits similar to French Maids for the female staff, and rather tight fitting suits for the few males who roamed around the place.
Themed indeed.
Upstairs from the happening bar they had a rather nice set of upstairs suites for no questions asked. Of course since it was in the Highlands it did its best to stay classy.
A male employee approached the king with an award winning smile. He was a rather tall and lanky feline bipedal. He clearly had a great deal of grace, and seemed to be a Highland mix. "Welcome to Rover's Inn, how can I help you this evening? Will you be looking for nightly accommodations? Or are you looking for something or someone in particular?"
Quite a few patrons came to the place for more than just a pint of beer.

Well this was an interesting little place indeed. Cute employees. She'd have to tell Pale about this place, if he didn't already know about it. She stuck her thumbs into her pockets and returned a smile to the young lad that had approached her.
"Actually, I am. I'm supposed to meet up with a friend here. Torquehelm human. Dark skin, long purple hair, might be wearing a straight jacket." She pulled her hand away from her pockets then brought her hands up to fiddle with the young man's lapel. She slipped a small bill into his shirt, "Bit of a troublemaker. Let me know if she decides to leave through a door or window that isn't the front. If she isn't here, then a shot of your best Scotch will do." Either way, money well spent.

A brief expression of surprised passed on the gentleman's face when the King spoke. It went back to it's bright and sunny smile moments after. As she slipped the money into his pocket, his smile grew a bit wider.
"Actually, can show you to her this moment, Please follow me!"He said brightly. He swiftly turned on his heal to lead his way through the crowded floor. Most of the people moved out of the way without a problem, some giving awkward glances to the human as she passed. He lead her up the stairs, humming the entire time.
They came to a door at the very end of the hallway. pulling a small set of keys off of his belt he slipped one in the lock and opened the door without hesitation. He should have knocked, but clearly the thought that something might be going on escaped him.
And something was indeed going on. There was Peaches, in a skimpy French maid outfit, straddled across of the Highlander Esterberry that had been described to Heilyn previously. Both parties looked rather horrified.
Though Peaches, being Peaches found the courage to speak. "Hey Heilyn. Fancy meeting you here. This is my good friend. Oh and if you don't mind too much, could you come in? I don't exactly want everyone to know what color panties I wear."
The man was simply horrified, though thankful he had managed to keep his pants on.
