Graeme's expression grew sadder still at Ayden's words. So the man was not only his employer, but a friend? That made it all the worse, than, and the Duck could understand that, for all that he'd have very few Cards he'd come to care for on that level during his life. "Ah understand entirely." He slowly slid to the floor, clutching his cane to him and just sitting on the floor of the office. This situation seemed hopeless, and everything just drove it home. His top hat slid off his head, and the Duck barely seemed to notice, nodding to Donalda as she left the room.
He closed his eyes, trying to focus past his fear and pain and aching sense of loss...of course, before he could even begin to sort everything out, there was a feral scream from behind him. He jumped to his feet, but he didn't have time to do anything as the former Mayor barreled at Ayden. "LOOK OUT LAD!" he shouted, jumping up on top of the desk and holding his cane above his head with the vague idea of hitting the Feline over the head if Eurwen's attack didn't slow him.

What a screwed up little child. Luckily Mikael's frustrated expression was unable to be seen behind his mask. "Of course I'm not, what would make you think such a-" When Cillis lunged….. Goodness, why does Mikael scream like a girl? (Rolled a 3 for his reaction. Lirl)
Luckily for him, the thing hadn't been lunging for him; it was heading toward Ayden. Frantically he backed up, wings splayed for balance and using whatever shreds of courage still left in him to stay in front of Kamina.
Gods, that thing was -terrifying-. Scariest thing he'd ever seen in his life… all soulless and feral in a way that made bog insanity seem like nothing at all. Horrifying like zombies and the ebola virus rolled up into a sushi roll of hell and anguish. A sushi roll of hell and anguish with too much wasabi at that.

((Ayden gave a rather undignified squeaking sound as his former employer lunged at him. Falling backwards over the desk, sending papers and other sundry items flying through the air, he rolled across the surface and whipped out his dagger, its glowing handle flaring once before simply smoking. "Cillis! No!" He shouted, hurling it at the man's back. (18) No offense to the man's memory, but he was only ever an employer. While that was his Eurwen, thank you. The dagger made a terrible crunching sound as it hit and broke the Mayor's shoulder, causing a scream of pain, loud enough to make the former Mayor's throat bleed. Bits of blood-covered greenery were beginning to poke through his flesh and tear at the skin, driving the insane man wild with agony. Crashing over onto his side as teeth then dug far enough into his leg to hit and tear at the bone, he lashed out fiercely at the girl's face with his clawed feet (15), before whipping his arm around to claw at her with all force. (19) Laughing again, it writhed in an effort to get up (2 with a -5 against her strength spell leaves him going nowhere) and fell back, momentarily winded.
Ayden slipped in front of McDuck, arms shaking as his mind whirred over what he had left to do, while trying to protect simultaneously the man behind him, and the door beyond which lay poor Kamina. "Sir! If you have anything of use to throw at him, I think he's far gone enough that this would be the time." He called back to the Highland mix, while settling on a small spell he kept in reserves. A thin stream of light, making a tiny whining noise hit the Mayor in the head. (11 vs. 6...wow) The Mayor suddenly seemed to seize up, body contorting as he jerked about wildly, remaining antler smashing down in his fit toward the girl (18). The force of the thrashing sent the desk chair spinning off to the right, aimed right at Mikael.))

Thankfully Ayden was on top of things.
The mouse honestly didn't expect to hit the bone with her teeth. A small part of her felt victorious until the cat went to kick her in the face with his damn clawed feet. She managed to avoid his feet making contact with her face, still clinging to his leg with all her might and trying to pull a chunk of flesh out of him. She was not prepared, in anyway way, for the man to twist around and claw at her with all his might. A loud wail of pain escaped her when his claws made contact with her face, making half of it a bloody mess. She belatedly raised her arm to try and shield her face, the man clawing it up as she did so. (Rolled a 17 in defense of the kicking, 5 in defense of the claw beat down.)
With a furious curse the mouse let go of the man entirely . She tried to to tear her weapon out of her belt and give the Mayor a proper beating. (18) She managed to get her weapon out, with shaking hands, poised to do damage and take a swing as he attempted to get up.
Expect he suddenly started seizing, and he was very much falling. Falling towards her with one very sharp antler. She didn't have time to curse as she attempted to roll out of the way (rolled a damn 20).
---
Kamina backed up a bit more when Mikael came to defend her. He had said they weren't going to get beat up but--
She whined when she saw what was happening beyond her uncle. Confused and terrified the girl buried her face in the Ace's fur. The Puppy would keep her safe right? And Jovan and Eurwen and everyone would be fine?

It took Jovan a little too long to recover his stance amidst the chaos (3 :<). The horrifying shriek as the man's shoulder literally smashed made him shudder in momentary horror before the Mayor exploded into ivy and, from somewhere behind him, he heard Ayden encouraging them to just put an end to the mayor's suffering.
The sight of Eurwen bleeding shook any vestiges of remaining uncertainty out of Jovan's mind and he finally launched himself into the fray. Without further hesitation he flung the mace around the attempted to intercept the poisoned Selkie's frenzied headbutt. (12)
From the corner of his eye he saw Eurwen roll clear and abruptly spun and bucked out with his hind hooves (17!) to slam the mayor in the chest or face. Hopefully the man would go down or at least put enough space between the small group to give him a chance to regroup and figure out a proper strategy.
Suits, he hoped someone was keeping Kamina clear of this mess!

Graeme winced as the little Mouse threw herself at the Mayor and they fought. It was bloody, it was ugly, and Graeme didn't fault Ayden at all for wanting to end it quickly. His webbed feet found firm purchase on top of the desk, and Graeme's eyes narrowed as he raised his cane to aim carefully at the thrashing mayor. "Can do, laddie," he told Ayden.
"STAY CLEAR!" he shouted, and, in the moment between when Eurwen rolled away and Jovan rushed him, Graeme released a stream of boiling hot steam from his cane right at the Mayor's face. With his free hand, he fumbled in his pocket to pull out a gold watch, winding it slightly and then glancing at the face before letting its spell affect the Major as well, choosing the leg that was furthest from any of the others. He didn't want to help Cillis attack them, after all. He didn't feel bad for this, at least not at the moment. The man was obviously no longer there, just a shell without a true mind anymore, and this was no different from putting down a rabid Bander.
Cane Ability: Once a week, he can shoot a jet of extremely hot steam from the end of the cane. The force alone is enough to bowl most Cards ranked 8 and below over backwards and the heat is enough to leave nasty scarring in the area on any Cards not ranked Queen or Joker.
Jack's Ability: Once a week, he is able to pull a small, rather intricate, gold pocket watch from his coat and force an opponent's limb (he may only choose one) to repeat any motions it has made in the last seven hours very quickly, and without the owner's control. This should last up to anywhere from 5 to ten minutes. The pocket watch vanishes when anyone but himself attempts to touch it.

People were screaming at Mikael to do something.. but he was too slow. A chair was sliding his way with force. He scrambled to get out of its way, but it slammed him right in the haunches. His hind end fell out from under him, stinging painfully in a way that told him it would surely bruise.
But that was the last of his problems. He had to act. Now! It was a spell that he'd been slowly becoming aware of after finding the toy mouse. Perfect. The man's arms were bound but his legs were causing quite the problem. Mcduck had cast some blast of steam.
He focused on the right leg, and ordered it to begin mercilessly kicking the other one.
[Small Mouse Doll: Huh...odd, this little doll looks like a Selkie Mouse, all dolled up in a dress. Looks old and well loved too, shame for someone to have lost it. Once a week, they will now find themselves able to cause another SD ranked Jack or lower or any Rabbits to lose control of a limb of their choice (the head is not a limb). This SD is then able to control it for a full 10 seconds, though it will not take out eyes or kill the owner of the limb.

(("Eurwen!" Too much. Watching the deranged man tear at Euwen's face was just a bit too much. Calling the dagger back to his hand for the last time that day, he held it tight and sidestepped as Jovan brought the mace crashing down on the Mayor's back with a terrible splat sound along with the grinding crunch of broken or displaced bone. "Jovan, careful!" He called, avoiding getting caught as the other man dealt a hefty blow with his hooves that destroyed the other antler completely as Eurwen rolled away, leaving a bloody trail on the floor. He whipped his dagger up, the creature on the floor still writhing with incredible ferocity as vines grew out of the place where his eyes had been, pouring tainted blackened blood all over the floor. His legs twitching in a combination of pain and the left of McDuck's spell as it went through insane and methodical motions all on its own accord, useless in sensible movement, but still shakily able to propel the former Mayor in his madness. The leg going through its motions smashed into the corpse of the officer, Timothy, pushing it across the floor towards the door. It then, due to Mikael's spell, began to kick the other leg viciously. Tearing into the flesh and sending tainted blood spilling all over the floor. The boiling steam from McDuck's cane hit at that moment, searing the spilling black blood and cooking it into the Feline's face! A screech of dying agony rent the air as the thing lurched and shot a jet of brackish, disgustingly nasty Spade water back at McDuck, full force; 5 gallons worth (17).
The Ace outside snarled and whined, as the corpse of its master was shoved toward it and it pressed itself desperately against Kamina, eyes wide as it snarled protectively against her. Ayden flung the dagger once more into the Mayor, aiming for the back of the neck (11 vs. 4). The dagger sank in and through, making a small tink as it hit the floor on the other side. The Mayor frothed and gurgled desperately, flailing madly as Ayden tried to back out of the way. (3) The Mayor's insanely twitching limbs caught him by surprise and in a final movement, the Mayor whipped around and sank his teeth down to the bone in Ayden's tail. (16) Ayden gave a gasp of shock as he distinctively felt something enter his system...and begin to work its way up through the tail slowly. He staggered away from the dying man toward Eurwen. "Eurwen? please be all right?" He whispered, as Cillis coughed pink and black foam, wriggled feebly.
And died.))

Pain. Shouting. Screaming. Pain so much pain. She was out of the way right? She could stop rolling?
She hit the wall, letting out a small squeak of surprise. The mouse didn't see anything that happened, she only heard the commotion and clatter. Ayden's words reaching her ears as she went to slowly touch her face.
"I...." she began as she rolled to her front, cursing at her arm. "Told you to stay outside Ayden. I told you. I told you!" She pulled herself to a sitting position, panting.
Fuck. Was he? "Please. Please tell me he didn't get you." She said as her eye zeroed in on Ayden's tail. "Please tell me a drop of my blood would work this early. Please please please be okay. Please--" And she burst into tears, making the pain even worse. This couldn't be happening. This absolutely couldn't be happening.
The mouse girl flopped over, clutching her face and wailing incoherently.
---
Kamina made a worried sound when the Ace growled over his the officer getting kicked. She peaked out of the Ace's fur to see the carnage that was going on and went back to hiding.
She would stay out of the way until someone asked for her. She couldn't help.

((Sitting painfully, Ayden pulled the other Mouse onto his lap as gingerly as he could so as not to hurt her wounds. Hunching up over her, he buried his face in her mane, rubbing up and down her back. Trying not to look at the mess half of her face was in, or the state of her arm, or of his own leg and tail.
"I know...I'm sorry. I couldn't just let him hurt you." He whispered, curling up around her and trying to wish the pain, and the thought of what that bite might entail away.))
