Eurwen felt a little bit better. Only a little. Her face was bandaged, and she couldn't exactly tell how bad the damage actually was. She gingerly tried to see properly, only to find that opening her eye lid hurt beyond thought and reason. With a frustrated sigh, and making sure she made her way to the door with everyone else. She was done. She just wanted to find her brother, have him properly fix her, or maybe find a real doctor so everyone was safe for sure. Ayden looked happy at least, potentially a little bit wobbly. She offered to help him trough the door, making sure that he would be safe and wouldn't do anything while... in shock and high. She still didn't know if he was safe or not. When they popped out of the door she found herself starring at she didn't know what. "Ayden," she said as she practically glued herself to the man. "Today sucks."Shit. Was that Rigsy? "Oh Suits, what the hell is going on here?"--- Kamina wanted to go home, but she wanted to stay too. Honestly she didn't know what to do. She gave the Ace a scratch under the chin and a small hug when he whined. Poor thing. She really wished she could help it. But she couldn't do anything for the person it was upset over. She gave a small sigh as she asked the Ace to go through the hole before her. After the canine mix went through, she would go through. (( ; so Kamina intends to take the Ace with her one way or another )) ---- Othello was utterly terrified as he continued to drag the poor man over the bridge, praying no one would try to stop him. That seemed to be the case.

There were a tense few moments, as Graeme pretended to look busy while trying not to be worried, but in the end...Ayden seemed all right, if a little out of it. And, well, one could hardly blame him for that considering what he'd just been through and the oddness of the girl's smoke. It made Graeme feel slightly dizzy himself when he got a whiff of it, and so he stayed well clear. Someone needed to keep their head. The Duck eventually changed briefly down to Animal form and back to Biped, which didn't restore his hat, but did clean his suit. Handy thing, that.
The Duck followed them out of the room quietly, and stared for a moment at the door. That was quite an odd thing, but then, many things today had been odd. "All right, lad," Graeme said, nodding to the Mouse, and, taking up his cane, prepared to follow him through.
The other side of the door was clearly the Capital, just as Ayden had said. However...it was far from quiet. There seemed to be a lot of chaos happening just a short distance away and, honestly, the Duck wasn't sure if he wanted to get involved. So the young boy trying to drag a large Josiggy was a good distraction. He smiled grimly at Eurwen. "Ah was wonderin' th'same thing."

Nethan yelped as the blade plunged through Othello's legs and straight into the wolf, narrowly missing his new friend. Whatever words he'd been planning to make were suddenly lost as his mouth fell open in horror.
And then a horrifying Crocodile mix tore into the fray and took the man's head off.
Nethan didn't think at that point, terror made his jerk back and away. Only once he was somewhat clear of the insanity and carnage that he noticed Othello and the other Josiggy were still okay.
"Othello... Thank Odom." He breathed. Hurrying toward the boy just as the door opened out of nowhere and a small group spilled out. He blinked and immediately his attention zeroed in on Jovan.
He didn't know the man but he knew Mephit had done something cruel to him in the past. Without thought he walked closer, only to notice the degree of injury they all seemed to have endure. Oh Odom.
His gaze shot from the brindled boy to the injured mice and then back to Rigsy where Othello was dragging him along. One of the mice was asking as question. "There's a war, apparently. Between the Lowlanders... and Josiggy... I think their Leaders are both dead now." He frowned. "You're not here because of the war, are you?"
***
Jovan was thankful to be on the move. Maybe toward sanity? That would be nice. He followed the others out without question, only to balk in horror at the sight that lay before them. So much blood... and yet it was also beautiful. Everything felt terribly surreal just then, though reality came flying at him quite suddenly as Rigsy came into view.
He wasn't dead!?
Thank the Suits.
He glanced back at Kamina warily. She'd seen so much blood already, he didn't want her to see more but at this point he didn't think they could really avoid it either. When the wolf-mix spoke up, he frowned deeply. "War? Is Rigsy okay?" He picked up his pace, still in disbelief that the man was still alive.

Kamina had stepped through a door. Kamina had wandered off into danger.
Really? Really? Already he was thinking he might get mauled for "losing" Donnie's kid. And now the sprog of the King and Queen of hearts just toddled off.
"K-kamina?" He blinked. Panicked.
Then he jumped into the door.
His jaw dropped, the first sight he saw was a Jossigy and Lowlander on the ground. Bleeding everywhere, kissing passionately.
What the fuck. He blinked slowly and just stared.
He'd been dealing with a seemingly different issue in a totally different place. He'd expected to see slime monsters or zombies.. not Lowlander refugees and some strange scenario where two hate-lovers lay on the ground...
It really was quite beautiful. Gosh. He needed to draw it. Like. Really. Kamina was completely forgotten as he merely stood there, heedless of the danger he may have been in.

Eurwen looked towards the Duck with a wide eyed expression. She was finally stunned to silence. A boy came over and explained things rather nicely.
A war. A pretty garden. Yeah okay, those things totally connected.
--
Kamina finally registered what was in front of her, her eyes locking on Rigsy. She let out a happy cry and hugged the Ace. "Rigsy didn't die for me! I'm so happy!" The man was alive. He looked horrible, but he was alive.
And wait. Othello? Othello was here too! She gave the Ace a lick on the cheek as she let go of him, moving a bit closer. Her tail twitched impatiently.
---
Othello finally made it across the bridge. "I'm tho tho thorry," he said to Rigsy as he struggled not to cry. "We're going to get you too a doctor and--"
He stopped talking when he heard Jovan's voice followed by the airy voice of his half sister. His ears stuck straight up as he stared at the group that had appeared by the shop. "J-Jovan, Kamina? Wha... Oh thuits pleasse help. Thith man needth help!" This was the first time he had ever seen them... for... real. It was kind of strange, but he couldn't just sit there dumbfounded right?
Eurwen twitched a bit, reaching up to give Ayden a kiss on the hand before going over to check on Rigsy and the strange boy who apparently knew Jovan and Kamina. Suits. Kamina was practically know by everyone wasn't she? "Going to see what I can do for you, Rigsy."

A war. Well that was just...wonderful. Graeme sighed and ran a hand through his mane, stepping further towards the group and trying his best to ignore the chaos as things went from weird to weirder. He foled his wings tight behind him and listened to what everyone had to say, reaching out a hand to pat poor Eurwen on the shoulder as she looked quite distressed, but thinking better of it and pulling his hand back.
And now, there were other Cards approaching...including something Graeme recognized as a Calloo from his recent visit to the Realm. He planted a smile on his bill and waved to the boy, as well as the others. "We have nothing to do with any war," he said calmly, everything that had gone on that day just proving to be a bit too much. As the boy called for help, Graeme went over to lend what assistance he could for the injured Josiggy.

((Rigsy hadn't made a sound when the boy grabbed him by the vest and the scruff, yanking him over a crudely made bridge that lifted them over the battle. He just jerked a little, raising a hand as he watched Evan's body vanish, covered with the quick growing carpet of flowers and moss. It looked kind of like home...
Ayden had kept himself glued to Eurwen's side as much as she had to his. His smile looked a bit pitiful and he seemed a little overly giddy for what was going on. When she kissed his hand, he managed to return the favor to her tail tip as she moved off. "Of course, my lady. Tell me the condition of the poor wretch." He turned to look at McDuck. "This hasn't been my day, has it? To think, none of us will be paid." His expression faltered for a moment...looking perturbed.
Rigsy shook his head lightly at the poor by dragging him along. "S'not your fault...s'all good. Thanks fer that..." He whispered, tears finally breaking him down as he watched the trees sway in the newly formed meadow. A cry broke the silence, and he stared blearily upward at familiar faces. "I remember you..." He muttered, ignoring the odd swirled Canine mix pacing behind the odd Torque girl. "Kamina, righ'?..." The Mouse tangled all in Ivy moved forward too. He gave her a distant smile. "Don't worry about it." He mumbled, patting her arm as he felt something inside of him give. "S'agood endin' an' all." His hand slipped off of her arm and his head lolled to the side as the wounds in his side finally claimed him and the Josiggy passed away.
Ayden staggered slowly up, looked down, and slumped behind Eurwen, before reaching out to pull her close to him. "We're still here." He murmured in her ear, glancing around at Jovan, Kamina, McDuck, and the rest of their strange group. "We'll leave him a marker to show he was here too..." The entire world had gone strange and he felt the pain reclaiming him. He tried to lay his face in Eurwen's mane. "Where do we go from here, intrepid wanderer? Where shall I follow you now?" A smile drifted across his face as he looked up into the eyes of an odd white and black Deer mix. He smiled up at the man and gestured out toward the meadow. "Never seen a sight like any of this. What say you?"))
