(( The room, though small, at least smells nicely...a bit like warm leather and clean laundry. As they try to gather themselves, the sound of the bell booms out all around them! It sounds as though it might be within a few rooms or less! The room itself is warm and a little bare, though there are sparse amenities...no sign of whoever might have grabbed Ez, though. Mirriam will begin to feel a slight draining sensation as the three hours of repression her spell granted her slowly begin to, over the course of a minute, drain out of her body. The door leading to what looks like the rest of the...house? Building? Suddenly creaks as outside of it, they hear a soft swishing and clicking noise. It comes toward the door quickly and then the knob turns...and the door opens.
....................... Zane walks into the room.
The outside of the room looked very wooden and extended behind him some ways, before he shut the door again and gave them all a beaming smile. He looks hale and healthy, nothing wrong with him and his body appears in fine working order. "Hello!" He waves a bit and shrugs. "Sorry about that, I had a bit of a hard time of it, but I feel much better now."))

The sparrow righted himself after a few moments, undoing the rope around his waist. "I have no idea," he muttered in reply as he righted his corset. The vials had apparently fallen out at some point, wonderful.
It was entirely strange little room that they had landed in. The Victrola and lacks of signs of life were disturbing. Who had pulled him in? He gave a small snort when he realized that the giraffe was still flailing, with a foot he rolled the girl over, patting her on the head and muttering something about calming down.
The bell rang.
The sparrow puffed up the little girl squeaked before burying her face into the sparrow's corset.
When the door opened, the sparrow prepared for the worst. He didn't have any weapons, and he wasn't a particularly talented fighter. He pulled away from the giraffe in hope that she'd stay put for once in her very short life.
He was in no way prepared for his brother to walk through the door. His beak opened and snapped shut in shock as he tried to find the words. This was impossible. Something was very wrong. What was going on? Zane was dead. He was sure of it. Did that mean they were dead? No. That was impossible. Everything was impossible.
"That--who--you're not Zane," he said pointing in disbelief. "Who are you?"
Gigi was somewhere between terrified and confused. The sense of foreboding wasn't going away, and despite being right side up, things still weren't making a lot of sense. She was pushed out of the bright pick corset's safety and someone walked into the room.
Mommy walked into the room.
Wasn't Mommy dead?
"Mommy?" The girl managed to get up on wobbly legs, staring around the Selkie sparrow. The man with bat wings was clearly the person who died horribly on the bed. It had been her fault. She knew that as a fact, so how was he standing there?

Mirriam nodded to Ez, and then shook her head as an odd sensation engulfed her. Like something was...draining away. Little flickers of emotion shivered across her spine, prickles of fear and pangs of loss and sorrow, but she did her best to ignore them. "Should we--?" Mirriam started to ask, and was interrupted by the loud clanging of the bell, which made her ears pull back against her head in protest. She gritted her teeth and waited for her large, sensitive Bat ears to stop ringing.
The door started to open and she started to move closer to Morgan, fear trickling back in like water as he brown eyes widened, looking for the first time in hours like an actual person's eyes and not some Card-shaped robot. But when Zane walked in...Mirriam gave a small squeak of shock. "N-no! That's impossible! I...I saw you die!" she managed in a shaking voice. Was this some sort of illusion? What was going on? Her thoughts were becoming more jumbled as emotions suddenly fought back after the end of the repression spell.
((whoops. XD Thanks for catching that Kari))

((Zane gives the small group a disappointed expression and shuffles awkwardly near the door. His eyes slide to the Bird in the corset...almost covetously.
"I, um...sure I am." The Sparrow said with a ruffled grin, holding his arms out to the Giraffe who addressed him. "Hi there, cutie. Am I your Mommy? That's sweet, come here, honey." He said happily, kneeling down to hug her if she wanted to come near enough.
His head jerked toward the Bat, an odd, slightly manic grin on his face. "Oh, that...like I said, um...rough time of it..." As he turned to look at Mirriam, Ez can see the row of messy, black stitches lining his skull...))

Gazing around the room, Morgan really wasn't sure what to make of everything - understatement of the day. After everything that had already happened, this seemed almost disturbingly normal. Except that it very distinctly wasn't, as the loud and disturbing boom of the bell served to remind it. The sound hurt!
It began to draw its senses back together once again when the door opened and someone walked through. It wouldn't have been able to identify the body of the bloody and mangled pile on the bed in the room of its birth if Gigi hadn't spoken. And then Mirriam started behaving strangely, losing her cool, so it must have been a terrifying thing because she'd managed to keep it through everything else that had been happening.
A thought struck it rather like a hammer to the head.
Was its mother coming back, then?
He had better not.
Neck suddenly beginning to ache, Morgan backed away from the door until its backside hit the edge of the cot. Glancing to the side, it hopped onto the thing with some difficulty thanks to its bindings and wobbled. Oh, its neck! Why was it hurting so badly? It had been ignoring a dull ache for a little while now, but this was something more. It even hurt to move.
Whining slightly, it moved to rest its head on the little side table next to the cot, trying to relieve some of the pressure and pain caused by holding its neck so stiffly straight. Right in front of its face was the empty picture frame, which it stared at through faintly blurred vision. Ow.

The sparrow stared in disbelief. Sure he was? What the hell did this man think he was doing? People just didn't get up from exploding. How the hell did he think he was going to pull the wool over his eyes? What was this man?
Gigi tilted her head in mild confusion at the bird's comment. But. How could he not know that... but... he looked like Mommy. She started forward and made it half way there before the bird in the corset stopped her by extending out his arm. She made a small whine, her brow furrowed. So this was strange and not normal then?
The corset with the pink corset kept his eyes trained on the Zane look a like as he patted the giraffe on the head. His eyes widened briefly when he saw the stitches as it address the poor bat. He swallowed hard. Whatever they were in, it was bad.
"I don't know who you are," he said taking a few steps closer. His voice was as even as he could make it, but his terror slowly turned into anger. "But you are not my brother Zane. I'm not going to let you play this game of charades and disrespect my Family. Who the hell are and why you're doing this?"

Mirriam tensed as Zane turned to look at her, fear and anger and shock all vying for her attention. "You're LYING! No one could have survived that. NO ONE." she screeched, and was dimly aware behind her of Morgan going up onto the cot. At first, she thought it was just getting out of the way, and felt a surge of relief, but then she heard its quiet whimper and turned, worry filling her brown eyes. She had to keep her sibling safe...after all, he was all that was left of Khushrenada. That thought made tears threaten to cloud her vision, but she blinked them away.
The time to mourn would be later, when they were out of danger. Still, it took a few tries to convince her wings to unfurl, and she flapped over to the Thylacine. "Morgan?" she asked, and her voice was gentler and kinder than it would have ever heard it. Charm could go a long way, but it couldn't entirely replace the warmth of actual feeling. "What's wrong?" She kept an eye on not-Zane out of the edge of her vision. Something was very wrong here... Jokers were Mirriam's first thought, though everyone said they weren't real.

(("Zane" twisted backwards, away from the accusing stares. "Um...oh. Ok, um." His voice has become softer, as though he is unused to speaking and his eyes begin to drat around the room, continuously landing on Ez; again, and again, and again...
Spotting the odd creature up on the cot, the Zane-creature starts forward, worry on its face as it whimpers. "Oh! Oh, um, don't- Please, don't touch that." It flinches as the Bat suddenly screams and backs away slightly. "Um...um! Ok, ok, I can just go, then." It whispers, backing toward the door in a seeming panic of awkwardness, eyes still flicking to Ez.))

Morgan didn't know what was happening to it that would cause it so much pain. It didn't know why Gigi's mother was not, in fact, her mother. Apparently. And it would have liked to know both of those things very much.
"My neck feels like... like it won't move," it whispered in fear. Even its throat felt oddly stretched out from the awkward position.
When the bird that looked like 'Zane' seemed to speak in its direction, it tried to tilt its head to better see him, half in confusion and half in worry. Because its neck wouldn't move, however, that necessitated swinging its entire head. In the process, its bulky antlers swung down and knocked the empty frame from the small side table. The noise gave it a start and it jerked awkwardly on the cot, falling half on its side as it tried to figure out how to successfully maneuver its head to see everything going on.

This was... not... going well. The sparrow stared in disbelief at the things response. That was not a straight answer. Why was he acting so timid and why was he staring? His feathers slowly ruffled.
He hadn't noticed what Morgan was doing until there was screaming. His feathers puffed up to their fullest extent for a brief moment. And now it wanted to leave. Ha. Not happening. Mirriam could handle the man child and Gigi would just sit there in confusion. He needed answers. "Oh please don't leave," the sparrow said as he started forward. His voice oozed with diamond charm. He throughly debated on grabbing the look alike. "I don't know who you are, but you obviously want something from me. Please speak your mind."
Gigi tried not to be utterly terrified by the sudden shriek. She let out a yelp of her own and attempted to skitter backwards, though she didn't get very far. Her eyes darted from person to person in the room. That really did look like her Mommy, but Ez just seemed funny about the entire thing.
She choked back her tears.
Small Headband Ability: His eyes are now a brilliant purple, they sparkle in the light and look amazingly enticing and beautiful. Cards ranked 7 or lower will be astounded by the beauty of his eyes and will feel a desperate need to be in his company. Higher ranking Cards might be able to ignore the "pull" he exudes, but they will still feel hints of it.
For the record Kari forgot about Ez's mary sue eyes, so yes, here you go. DUHURRR *hits self*
Basic Magical Ability: He can act charismatic and persuasive at times, whether or not he actually has the natural charm and grace to pull it off.
