Sabe appreciates the help that he had gotten from the heart, though he found that he still had a mild distaste for them. If the Queen of Hearts acted like this, then wouldn't that make most hearts the same? Not to mention the fact that the Pain magics that they owned were disasterious and were not kind to anyone. He shrugged it off for the moment and realized that he needed to continue on, even though no one had answered where they were to go from here.
The queens study was totally out of the question now, for if she was there then he knew that they wouldn't survive another encounter from the Mad Queen. He gave a brief smile and wondered what the Queen of Clubs would think about this report that he was going to give later when and if he did survive this crazy night.
"So as I had asked... where to now?" he asked once more.

Hell of a day. For a delirious moment, Davy wondered if it had all been a dream. Sighing, he rubbed a paw through the fur on his face and stood up, looking around. Familiar voices though, made him realize that perhaps everything that he remembered had transpired after all.
Making his way toward the voices, he realized rather quickly where he was. The Court of Hearts. Why was he here? He must have been knocked out and slept the whole way here in the carriage.
He caught sight of Sabe, and his eyes went wide. "Tha hell happened to ye?"
And it seemed they had new people added to the group. He blinked curiously up at the older folk. And a creature.. an unfortunate looking thing, yet so very 'Bog' in appearance. That -had- to be one of Apocalypse's kids. There were so many that Davy never bothered to keep tabs.

Conall refrained from sighing. He couldn't particularly blame the man for refusing him help. Considering he didn't know what he could do in the long run. He gave the man a polite head bob and did his best to stay out of the way. His ears were pressed against his skull as he tried to stay someone relaxed. The voices weren't going away, and they weren't saying anything in particular. It was starting to make him paranoid.
He watched the Corvie and the Tulgey, completely ignoring the Queen of Clubs until he suddenly spoke. The boy jumped slightly and gave the man a rather terrified look. What was wrong with him? Shouldn't he know what to do? He was in a position of power right?
And then there was someone else. The boy's head snapped around, his fur standing up in a few places. Who was that? Why were they here? Why was there another Club near the Court of Hearts? A small hiss escaped him as he edged towards Malachior. It was getting creepier, though that could have just been his imagination. "Can we address the issue of the voices? I think that's kind of important."

Lucius was in the middle of appreciatively flexing his arm when Sabe's question wiped the smile off of his face. Where to now? His whole purpose of coming here had been to drop the bog child off with his parents but Xiven had made it blatantly clear that they were not wanted here. Dropping him off wasn't going to get him any bonus points with Her Majesty if she was too insane to even recognize him in the first place.
He sighed in frustration, his head throbbing at the din of whispers around him. Curse this crap! His anger was building by the second and with each second his anger was developing a face: Zacharias. Before he could say anything, however, a strange new child stepped into the Court. His already disgruntled expression darkened even further. More clubs, more children, and more weirdness.
Malachior pressed a hand to his temple. The whispering was still going on and now there was a strange new child who seemed to be acquainted with Sabe? He surely didn't recognize the kid.
"I assume you two are acquainted?" He turned to Conall and nodded. Addressing the voices would be appropriate. "There is certainly strange going on." He glanced toward the stairs where Conall had seen the strange double Ace and where the Queen had been headed before vanishing. He sighed, not quite liking his own train of thought. "There is something very unusual going on. I imagine it might have something to do with The Queen's madness or, perhaps, that ...Ace? you mentioned seeing at the top of the stairs."
It would seem whatever was happening was spreading from upstairs. Not that Malachior was particularly inclined to investigate if he didn't have to.

Davy's eyes narrowed at the hiss, not the least bit amused by the icy reception. He pointed a webbed finger toward the child. "I can already tell that yer' the asshole of the group."
The strange whispering was unnerving. But really, it had gotten to a point that it seemed something truly screwed up was going on here. Some people might have begun to demand what was going on, but Davy had a feeling theā¦ patience of this group was wearing thin.. and the lot of them were looking a bit worse for wear. Shifting his weight up onto his haunches, he sat up and crossed his arms in front of his chest.
"Oh aye. Met up in the Capital. I be thinkin' they tossed me in a carriage after I lost consciousness at some point or ano'der." He glanced again at the rather badly beaten Sabe. "Can'ne say I'm envious about what I missed."

The boy shifted closer to the King of Spades as he spoke. He still wasn't liking any of this. "It might," he said quietly before the newcomer started talking.
And promptly insulted him.
Conall's ears pressed against his skull as a growl escaped him. Who the hell was he to talk to him like that? He was in the Court of Hearts. Were all Clubs half retarded and disrespectful? He was starting to think they were. And here he had thought the books he read were just terribly biased. "Excuse me," he said as he took a step away from the King of Spades. "Who are you, Club, to come waltzing in here like you own the place? If you haven't noticed this is the Court of Hearts, have a bit more respect for people you just met. You haven't even properly introduced yourself."
He hissed again for good measure. The bird on his shoulder looked mildly agitated as well.

Sabe thanked the Spade and moved closer to the group that had now formed. It was good to see that Davy had taken consciousness again and that he was in good shape from being alone in the carriage. He quickly gauged the tensions between the two children and found it almost laughable at what Davy had said, and kinda bad for the the young Heart. To try to grow up soo quickly was one thing, but to sit and talk about respect was one thing.
Come to think of it? Had the young heart even respected his rank and title yet? If not... oh well.
"O.k. children." he said as he looked to the two of them, "Davy this is Conall, Conall this is Davy." he said dropping rank and title from the both of them, after all they were just children. He gave them a warm smile despite the obvious pain that he was in.
He looked up to the stair and started to walk towards them... they needed to move... the voices... how dreadful they sounded in his ears... more like moaning than any words he knew... he placed his cane under his arm and grasped the railing and started his way up. He wasn't going to wait around her... the voices and the other ace had something he wanted to know.
Why am I here again? Oh yes... because of someone or something... he thought as he moved up the stair one step at a time. Let them bicker to one another... he had things that he must do.
He had to get them out of here safely. All of them...

"How about you not give people shitty looks and a hiss when they first walk in the door? Then we'll talk about respect." Davy thumbed his nose before grazing his paw across the suit on his chest, not in shame but with pride, holding his head up a bit higher. Hearts. There were only a few of them he liked.
"Thanks, Sabe. Now we can all be da best o' friends now." He remarked sarcastically.
He turned to the King of hearts, but didn't recognize him. His frown deepened. "Has everyone in the Courts disappeared as they did in the towns? I take it.. we're not exactly alone though. Then again it be radder likely that most of the people we -need- are conveniently not available. Damned curses and magics."
He glanced toward the rude hearts child. He'd never seen him during his summer visits to the Court of Hearts, but it looked enough like a Court brat to know who lived here. "Where is his Highness Apocalypse? Sergei? Enkidu? Any of those folk?" It would be good to see a face he -knew- for once.

Malachior reached over, gently placing a hand on Conall's shoulder. It didn't seem as if the misunderstanding or the tension between them was going to be cleared up anytime soon but this was also not the time for fighting. He gently squeezed the boy's shoulder.
He hadn't yet noticed Sabe was making his way out of the room, focused as he was on the new boy. "I'm afraid Conall has currently lost his memory, but we are trying to locate his father - His Highness Apocalypse. The rest we haven't seen and, yes: it would appear that everything is deserted like it was in the City... Aside from Her Majesty Xiven, who is suffering from some form of insanity, and these... faceless whispers."
So much madness. He longed for his lost normality.
The somewhat disgruntled expression that Lucius had been wearing turned into pure disdain with a sneer of disgust as the children began to bicker. Filthy things, children, and absolutely useless most of the time. He longed to stuff a sock in both their mouths.
And then Sabe was walking upstairs. No explanation, nothing. Just walking upstairs. The serpent sighed.

Sabe looked back to what was going on... they were still talking and yet he found himself removing himself from the party. Why wouldn't they follow his lead and just come on with it? Did he have to pull title and order people around and the such? Well it wouldn't help much though... he didn't even suspect that the child and the snake would even bother listening. After all he was just a club... no one really payed much attention to Clubs as it was and he being a Titled Queen didn't help much either.
He gave a sigh as he moved his frozen leg back up on another step grunting in pain slightly as he felt like it was going to fall off at any moment. He made another glance behind him and realized that Davy and the others where still back there, and that he had only made it up twelve steps.
"Are you coming?" he asked as he started his way up the next step. "Davy your mother would have my skin if any harm was to come to you, so you should keep up." he said as he gave another warm smile.
