Backing off a bit to give the shopkeep room, Lucio considered his options. He had no dreams of enchanted blades. But the keep asked his preference, and who was he to doubt someone as renowned as Cauter?
Raising his head to ask a question about the purchase, he was surprised to see the keep rushing from behind his counter. Turning his head over to look back over his shoulder Lucio was confronted with seeing The Queen stepping into the shop. It did not matter that he had never seen The Queen before, Serafino was not someone who needed to be announced.
Lucio quickly stretched his forepaws out and dipped his head. He also spread his wings a bit, uncovering the back of his neck, so as not to seem guarded.
He held the pose until The Queen and the shopkeep started discussing His order, before he settled back on his haunches, awaiting time to speak with Cauter again.

A strange figure slipped into the shop, the little bell on the door sounding off her arrival as she entered. Her coal black eye looked from here to there, pinions upon her back flexing nervously as she made her way into the store. It was obvious she was nervous about being here, and it might suggest that her current appearance might not have been quite what she planned. With her head down, she made her way to the counter and seemed as if she already had an idea of what she wanted. Staring down longingly toward the two potions behind the glass, she wondered to herself if these were in fact the beauty potions she'd heard of. She glanced curiously toward the shopkeep. Normally she held much more self confidence than this, but this... change had happened only a few days earlier. Her mother had... panicked. How ironic it would be since it was her mother that wanted her to embrace the odd and occult! "Ah... pardon... I was curious about these potions..."

Cecilia had been in the shop before, along time ago when she'd been a bratty little girl and so very angry that her evil half-sister was getting a beautiful bracelet and she was not. Now, however, she was a gorgeous young lady and desperately looking for some pick me ups after that horrendous being a mom ordeal. Ugh. Cecilia shook the memory off with nothing more than a cast around the store. So many shiny things that she could spend her money on and that was, of course, one of the very best ways to make your day better. It was a gorgeous sapphire broach which finally caught the doe's attention and she approached the counter with it. "Hello handsome~" The torque doe laughed softly, twirling an end of her ribbon around her fingertips as she spoke. "I'd like that lovely sapphire broach, please?" If it did as it advertised, then that would make it all the better for her.

(( OOC: >_> I just want to claim the mirror. )) Peaches slipped into the shop. She had heard plenty of things about the owner and about the interesting things that were among the items. Loreta had found that dreadful leg (but it was partly her fault) so there must have been some other interesting things? She looked at the various things on the wall. Her eyes light up as she saw the silver mirror. Of that was rather pretty wasn't it? And Xiven had so kindly broken her other mirror. This would be the perfect opportunity to get something pretty too. Once the shopkeeper was done with who he was speaking with Peaches made her approach. A large smirk was on her face as she spoke, "I'm curious sir, can you perhaps tell me a bit about the mirror? I'm interested in buying it but I heard that sometimes items in your store have the tendency to back fire."

He had passed this shop time and time again and had always eyed the same thing, and had always been surprised to find it was still there. Today he couldn't just walk past ... he needed to at least get a closer look. The yellow and blue was just... so very pretty! He made his way inside, careful not to brush the fire that made up his wings against anything wooden as that really wouldn't be the greatest first impression. He didn't bother looking around, not even at the other people, and made his prancey way over to the bracers.
He paused, looking them over as best he could and reading the little description that went with them. If the description was right then ... these would help him immensely in future endeavors and he could remember ot take them off after he didn't need them, right? His fluffy, flame colored tail swayed cheerfully behind him as he made his way over to the equine, smiling up at him and wagging his tail faster.
Is there... anything else I should know about the bracers, sir?

Cauter turned to the deer/cat in a haze of distraction. So many wonderful people here to offer him money! AH, that request, damn. ”Terribly sorry, sir. I’ve just sold it to the young chap up front, can I interest you in something similar? I could easily dig up something out in the field.” He certainly hoped so, he hated to lose a sale simply because someone else bought it first.
Cauter threw a glance toward Lucio, who was back to perusing the shoppe. He gave the Ferret a small wave to let him know that he only had to poke at him and he would answer any of his questions.
The Squirrel that appeared behind him stopped him in his tracks. His legs took a second longer than the rest of him to stop heading back toward his desk and stay put. He looked her up and down without really meaning to. Midori! He hadn’t seen one of those since he was a colt! ”Of course madam. What can I tell you about them? They aren’t expensive and I’m certain you’ll like the results. I even know the Corvie who made ‘em, I trust her about as far as I can throw her, but hey you can’t ask for much more from the likes of us, eh?” He gave her a big grin and shook his head lightly so that his many piercings jangled. ”I’m having a hard time imagining what it is you’d be improving though, if you’ll pardon my saying.” However strange she was, she was exotic!
The cursory mumble of Hello, handsome, was always a good way to snag his attention. While the Squirrel turned back to the potions, he spun on the spot and felt his grin nearly split his face. So many pretty ladies in here today! Normally they all went to fawn over that thrice-be-damned Ashwin and all of his cutesy-tootsie little Banders. Hot damn! He turned behind himself to swipe the brooch off the shelf, handing it out to her, palm up so she could inspect it. ”Anything you’d like to ask about it, lovely lady?” He asked, letting his eyebrows hike upward, gods what a pretty thing. ”I’m certain it will look stunning on you.”
He nearly jumped when another voice hailed behind him. A tall, Human woman, Torque from the look of her outfit and hair, swayed lovely hips she had. Egad! Women everywhere! It was so lovely! ”Ah, this mirror would never dream of backfiring on one such as yourself, my lady.” He turned to lift it and hold it out to her. ”Real silver, I can have that proven, if you’d like. I did get a little gem from the previous owner...be careful looking too long into it or some such nonsense. Said you may see more than just your reflection, but I’m sure it’s a load of poppycock.” He smiled broadly at her. Gads, he could make so much money today!
A small voice heralded him and he gazed down at one hell of an interesting mix. Cute, one of the best looking Lowland mixes he’d ever seen, he certainly couldn’t say anything against the kid. ”Not really, m’boy. Just be careful if you’re looking to shoot to kill, it can make you a nervous wreck being too in tune with what you’re aiming at, shoot to wound first would be my recommendation with these lovely things. Interested?”

Peaches could practically chirp at his comment. All she needed to do was not look in the mirror for an extend period of time and everything would be fine. Though she wondered if she could still use her powers on something. Perhaps she could get it checked out by a mage of some sort?
She bit her glove as she looked at the price. Oh my. That was expensive even for pure silver. Then again... it was so pretty. Part of her wanted to smack her for spending so much money on something so frivolous. But the great thing was that she could shut that voice off whenever she felt like it.
"I suppose I'll take it," She said as she brushed a bit of hair behind her ears. "Though maybe you could shave five gold off the price for little old me. It's a bit expensive." She gave her best cute look possible. It wasn't that much, but it was something.

Tegan strolled into the shop. She liked being old enough to be let out on her own. She looked around for several minutes, amazed at all the wonderful things in this store! She stared at the spider for a full two minutes, turning it around and looking at it from every angle. Oh, so cool! She wanted to touch the dead thing, curious to see if it would crumble. Then she saw the Jar of Teeth. Intrigued, she approached it a read the sign. Died in battle? "Sir?" she piped up, "I would like to buy this." She pointed at the jar. She only had so much allowance and this purchase would prevent her from getting lunch, but Mom had taught her how to hunt, right? ~~ (Also, I was wondering if in the dead of the night, Amhalghaidh could sneak in and steal the amber brooch. I'll pay the points x3 )

His slowed a bit as he listened, red lined ears perked fully forward and twitching ever now and again to catch the equine's words. Well, he could have drawn that conclusion himself ... but he wasn't going to say that ... he was happy enough that the man was being helpful and kind at all. He liked people like that.
He didn't think that the simple suggestions would be all that hard to follow, neither of his parents were the violent type, in fact mother didn't think it was necessary at all. He'd naively shared that idea as well until that stupid tiger had decided to attack his dear, sweet brother for no reason at all. That ... had really ticked him off, Brokat was about as threatening as a daisy and certainly hadn't done anything to provoke the feline.
He considered it for a moment, gaze slipping from the equine, to the bracers and then back again ... that goofy little grin returning to his muzzle.
Yes ... definitely!
And that flame colored tail of his would return to it's quick, somewhat spastic swaying.

Cecilia flashed a coy smile up at the intriguing horse. He wasn't what she would really find 'handsome', but he was a fascinating male nevertheless. And charmingly polite, Cecilia liked that. The doe leaned in, running her fingers over the lovely broach in his hand. The tingle caused her to shiver ever so slightly. Oo, well... it did say a little about that, didn't it? "How does it help with keeping one's figure trim, may I ask?" She was careful to scoop it out of his hand, making sure to brush his hand just right so that her silken fur would brush his own before she retrieved the broach and began to turn it over for her inspection. Such a lovely thing... "I'm sure I will get it, regardless. It's too lovely to pass up. How much~?" She turned her lavender eyes up at him then, batting her long lashes delicately. She would have loved a discount, but even if he did not lower his price Cecilia would be able to afford it with plenty left over.
(To avoid spamming. XD) Kaden had rushed ahead of Hatter, darting into Cauter's shop with the utmost glee with his sandy bander at his side. After weeks and weeks of harassing his father, Hatter had finally caved to the boy's desire the for 'wonderful spider'. The boy may have been a couple years shy of 'adulthood' but he had no reservation about his childish glee. Hatter didn't buy it. As innocent as Kaden may act, Hatter knew there was a little swindler beneath it all. He just didn't want to buy his own junk. "Is that it?" Hatter asked, lofting a brow at the bottled spider behind the main counter. The tag did intrigue him as well. ...Perhaps it wouldn't do too much harm to buy it for him, after all. "Yeah! That one!" Kaden turned his head around to peer at his dad, grinning slyly. "Thanks~"The Joker grinned back widely and nodded before hailing Cauter down. "When you have a moment! We'd like to purchase Mayle's Tarantula." Now the boy couldn't say that his mother was the only one to spoil him, ha!
